We were so grateful for Brandon D. Coming out today. He checked everything for us thoroughly and caught an issue that is going to be fixed pretty quickly. He was great. Also very personable and knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions and gave us some really good info on how we can get the most efficiency out of our aging system. Pearce Heating & Air is our go-to company for our maintenence and we look forward to working with him in the future

Matt was very professional and polite. He spent a great deal of time going over my heating system and I appreciate how prompt Pearce was in answering my request for service. I will absolutely reach out to Pearce for any future needs or concerns I have regarding my heating and air conditioning equipment.

Codee saved our 4th of July! Codee was professional and efficient. She came out on the 4th of July to help fix our AC unit. Not only was Pearce heating and air the only company that didn’t make us wait over a week to get on the schedule, they were very reasonably priced. Codee/Pearce thank you for helping my family.

Alexio came out for an annual furnace tune-up. Friendly, punctual, and informative.

Matt B. has been servicing two HVAC systems at my home for about 3 years. He is awesome--explains what I need to know, and what my options are. He is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the products and services Pearce HVAC has to offer. In addition to Matt, the entire staff at Pearce is great.

Justin is so efficient and he
makes sure that everything's fixed and even did a double check on somethings. Give professional advices and offer to give help in the future. -
Our Pearce technician Brandon arrived early, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Best part of all, he was able to fix the A/C unit right then as he had all the parts he required in his truck. A life saver because the next 2 days were forecasted to be 100+ degrees. Thx Brandon!!
Guess I should also mention that we are in Pearce's VIP Membership Program, which among other perks, gave us priority service...thank goodness. -
Got a quote for a new HVAC system and later a quote to replace our tank water heater with a tankless we purchased. Here's the detail on each;
The hvac quote: We liked the salesman, seemed detailed and experienced, we were emailed the quote. We had to call in and ask what mfgr. was being quoted, turned out to be a York system. From everything I've read York is equiv. to builder grade and the quote was a little high but in the ballbark.
The Water Heater quote, entirely different story. In their defense, we were told they were just getting into plumbing work. We did some research and found and purchased the Navien tankless water heater that fit our needs. It was to replace the tank model in the garage which everything was piped for with vent and everything. In other words, everything was there ready to go. I won't give you the breakdown but the total quote was $5,549 ($3,750 of which was "install customer supplied water heater")
Needless to say they didn't get either job!
My advice to anyone getting quoted for this kind of work: do your homework, research the equipment, and get multiple quotes. The water heater I bought was brand new, still in the unopened box and purchased from a reputable local supply house.
This is price gouging in my opinion.
You decide
The water heater was just over $1500 Additionally the shutoff valves, copper pipe & fittings, check valve, gas line and pvc parts totaled around $400
It was a 6 hour job for me any my friend but not rocket science
Needless to say Pearce is NOT on my preferred contractor list. -
Our service representative Justin was wonderful. His communication was clear and he explained all to us.
-
Alexio was great very thorough and informative with my new system during my maintenance appointment.

I knew it would a really good experience when Monica answered the phone. Very professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I expected to wait at least 1 week or longer (since we now are in the hotter months of the year) but to my surprise Monica had a tech (Matt) to the house the very next day. A couple hours later, the AC unit was back online and all is well again. Big thank you to Pearce for excellent service both in the office and in the field!!

Had an issue with my heater. Alexio came out same day and fixed it. Good service and prices

Technician James was great but hearing that we did not or never had filters put on our units was very disturbing. He gave me the measurements but it is a serious flaw not to have job completed.
-
Justin was awesome with our usual AC tuneup. Made some great recommendations too!

I called this HVAC company and let them know my AC stopped working. They sent out a technician “Brandon” the following day. When he arrived I showed him my AC unit. Brandon took one look at the unit then pointed out to me that there’s no reason to look no further because the system needs to be replaced due to dog urine on the outside of the unit. He performed no diagnostics and quoted me $17,000 for a whole new HVAC system. My response was “dog urine”? He said “YES, see those marks on the side of the unit? That’s due to a male dog urinating on it and there’s no way to fix this because it has plugged the air compressor and even if I clear the plug, it will just plug up again”.
He then went on saying that unfortunately you’ll just have to replace everything. I told him I’d have to talk with my wife and paid him his service fee of $89 and off he went. After speaking to my wife she was appalled and said that’s not professional not to look at anything but the outside of the unit. She called our home warranty and they sent out Certified Comfort the next day which was a holiday. Steve was the technician who came out and fixed the problem in 30 minutes! A capacitor needed to be replaced inside of the furnace to allow the blower to turn on. I highly recommend NOT to use this service and go with Certified Comfort whether it’s through your insurance or not. -
Codee F. was excellent. Super friendly, thorough and knew her stuff. Showed me what was going on with my system and potential solutions, but didn’t push. She provided me the necessary info so I can now make an informed decision, which I will. Thank you, Codee.
