We had Diego out to fix our dryer. He was early, at our agreed price and did great work. 11/10. Would recommend

Working with Ryan, Nate, Mike, and the 5280 Appliance Repair team, they were on top of the repairs for my furnace and water heater. I would highly recommend them for such repairs and will continue to utilize their services for future fixes. Thanks, guys!

Called on a Sunday and had someone at my house 2 hours later. Diego did an amazing job and was very respectful of my home and had my fridge up and running. Highly recommend! Price is very affordable as well.

I had removed the flanges surrounding my gas burners, couldn’t get them back on. I finally got them back on and then none of the burners would light. I called Ryan and rather than charge me a service call he told me to let them dry out (I’d washed around them) and wait 24 hours. If they didn’t light, to call him, but he didn’t want to charge me for a simple issue. That’s rare these days, most companies just charge you, come out, and tell you what they could have over the phone. I plan to use 5280 in the future.

I called on a Sunday night with an emergency repair to my microwave. The vent fan would not shut off. The gentleman I spoke to was able to give us advice on how to shut off the microwave. He did not push us to do an unneeded repair. He advised us that replacement would be cheaper than repairing a 15 year old microwave. He was courteous, professional and honest.

I contacted 5280 Appliance Repair when my microwave began malfunctioning. Ryan was prompt in responding and receptive when I explained that I was determining whether to repair or replace the microwave (replacing it would mean no business for him). He asked what was wrong with it and, based on that, replied that it might be better to replace it. His recommendation was for my benefit, not his own. Thanks, Ryan, for being honest and empathetic.

Ryan actually walked me through how to fix my issue myself over the phone and charged me nothing, despite me calling at 8pm thinking I had a potential emergency on my hand. Next time I have an appliance issue, I'm definitely calling 5280 Appliance Repair - they're knowledgeable, patient, and aren't trying to take advantage of people.

Don’t do business with these guys. They’re shifty and shady. I explained my situation and issue on the phone and they decided to send their crew out anyhow and charge me $130 for five minutes of work to tell me that I have an electrical problem not a refrigerator problem.

I called late on a Wednesday night as our fridge went out and received a prompt response from Ryan. He was very helpful and provided his insight even though we didn’t receive repairs since our fridge was under warranty. Really appreciate the responsiveness and you can truly tell they care about their customers!

I called on Sunday for an electrical problem with my washer. I was offered a same day appointment and was advised of the additional charge for a Sunday visit. I appreciated the information being provided up front. Since it wasn't an emergency, I opted for a Monday appointment. I appreciated that I was able to get someone out so quickly.

Had an awesome experience with Ryan and Mark of 5280 Appliance Repair. Our fridge started making a terrible racket and Ryan was able to come out the same day and diagnose the issue. It took a while to get the needed parts because Ryan was looking for a less expensive solution, but when the fridge just quit working, he sent out Mark who was able to fix it with OEM parts the same day. Mark also took the time to clean the interior of the fridge while he was in there. Fridge works like new now. Kudos to these guys, super communicative, prompt, and polite.

Asked about purchasing a washer/dryer set, and he quickly got back to me to let me know they don’t really sell anymore, just repairs. Impressive responsiveness!

Diego was very polite and professional. He made our dryer brand new with a fair price and honest work. We are very happy with the service. Arrived same day and didn't leave until it was complete and working.Thank you.

Horrible service. Yeah they might have cheap appliances but they don't give a crap about their customers. They delivered a refrigerator with a smashed plug and told me they could not come out until Monday. 500 dollars worth of groceries ruined because they don't care.

Going to start this off my husband reached out to the owner of the company, who was very nice and they reached an agreement for today's service call. This is the only reason I am giving today's appointment 3/5, because he was responsive to our problems with today's visit and gave us $30 off the $130 service fee...

My husband called at 6AM, as it said they offer 24/7 service online. Whoever he spoke to at the time confirmed same-day service, and my husband reiterated that the spring for our washer was stretched and needed replacement. He gave them the make and model of our front-loading washer.

When Diego and another technician arrived, I showed him where the washer was, and reiterated the issue (husband stretched out the drum boot spring accidentally the day before when we were cleaning the machine). I told them if they needed anything I was working upstairs. Not 5 minutes later they called me down and told me the spring was bad, and I acknowledged that, again, and told them we tried to put it on yesterday, but it was dumping water from underneath - the second technician only seemed to be listening to me. Diego kept reiterating that it would be like $300 to replace the spring. I said, "Okay, how long would this take?" He said maybe 45 minutes, and I confirmed the price which he said would be around $340. He kept saying "If there's another leak somewhere else, that's on you." He said that twice.

They didn't have the part with them, and he said they could pick it up tomorrow. He was very pushy and asked to talk to my husband on the phone after I confirmed it was okay to replace the spring. I kept texting my husband that he was acting like he didn't want to do the job, or even be there, and it was weirding me out. Seriously, how is that supposed to make someone feel comfortable? You're in my home.

He said they didn't have the part, and the whole time just seemed very annoyed and like he didn't want to do the job today. I guess it came down to office miscommunication (this was only found out after we talked with the owner) that he was essentially supposed to survey this per his office - but this was not communicated to my husband or myself, or communicated to me by Diego when he was in my home, in person. I guess he was supposed to quickly stop by on his way to their main office, whereas we were told by the 6AM dispatcher it was a service call and assumed they would take care of it same-day.

When I told him I wasn't available to WFH tomorrow to complete the repair, he seemed frustrated. After I said I could do it after 4PM, he said that's not standard time and it would be more. So then I asked how much the hourly rate was, and said "Around $200". - Again, this was chalked up to more miscommunication as it's only an extra $25 charge, and the total would have been closed to $200, but again, Diego did not clarify that with me.

I told him I could do Friday around 1PM, then he tells me he can't at that time and that they scheduled in 4-hour window blocks and seemed annoyed with me that I didn't know this. I agreed to 9AM - 1PM. He was really pushy for payment and seemed irritated and ready to leave and honestly, I was ready for him to leave.

After he left, I asked my husband to cancel that call and find another company and they came out with the OEM spring and replaced it - same day - not 1 hour after Diego left. The technician also made me feel very comfortable, and he was extremely friendly and polite.

I'm an operations manager for a fire protection service company, so I am familiar with service processes. I am astonished by this technician's behavior and attitude. I will not be recommending them to anyone or using this company again. I can understand a lack of communication in the office, things happen, but I was charged $130 for less than 10 minutes of "diagnosing". We told this company beforehand about the issue and the part that was needed.
