Electrical reviews in Arvada, Colorado

SJO was incredibly speedy & fair with the quote and was also able to get out to do the work within a week, since our hot tub was coming and needed to be hooked up! Thank you to the whole team!

Ed and his team are fantastic! While we were under contract for a house, he wasn’t able to come by to give us a quote in our limited time frame, but used our inspection report to provide rough estimates that we were able to use to negotiate a lower purchase price. His team replaced the knob and tube wiring in our attic, added new outlets, repositioned recessed lights, and replace our main breaker switch. They did so with very minimal demolition to the lath and plaster walls. His team was professional, quick, and friendly, and they performed their work at a fair price.

We were so happy to FINALLY find a trustworthy, dependable and affordable electrician. Ed and his team have taken great care of our kitchen. Obviously it can be a major loss for a small business if the electric goes out. SJO is on it and honest when it’s an easy fix.

Kim and Ben came out today to help fix a faulty GFCI issue in our kitchen. They were so friendly and didn't just fix the issue, they explained to me what was going on with the wires and why it wasn't working. Making the appointment was super easy as well and I will definitely call SJO again for the next electricity problem that arrises.

They were able to give me a free estimate one day after I called to ask about getting one circuit installed for an electric stove, but they quoted me $1400, which is way way too much for this work. I asked another electrician and they quoted me $700. Be prepared to be pay a pretty penny if you go with this company!

My husband and I needed some new outlets put in so our Christmas and Halloween decorations don't burn down our house and had some outlets fixed in our garage. Ed and and his team did a great job. Thank you

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by SJO Electric. Despite encountering unexpected challenges during the job, they remained professional and dedicated to delivering quality work. What impressed me the most was their commitment to their initial estimate, which they honored even with the additional difficulties. The team was friendly, skilled, and their workmanship was top-notch. I highly recommend SJO Electric for anyone in need of electrical services. They truly go above and beyond!

With the purchase of an EV comes the need to find an experienced electrician. After having an electrician tell me I had to replace my entire electrical panel, I asked Ed to look at it. Not only was he able to install the charger in the existing panel, he was able to provide the car the higher amperage to get the fastest charge possible using a higher rated breaker! I got the best of both worlds. SJO also installed the charger in the garage exactly where I wanted it and while also making it look good. Well done SJO!

Ed and his team are great. We had some electrical issues noted on our house inspection and Ed was able to come out and take care of the issue promptly and did a great professional job.

Ed and his team are amazing! I had 3 other electricians to my house over 5 months and my issue was still unresolved, I asked around and was referred to SJO Electric. I called and explained the whole story, the woman who answered was so nice and understanding. I requested a Master Electrician and she said Ed would be my best bet. I had to wait almost weeks to get Ed, but he was worth the wait!!! I thought we were looking at a total new wiring and/or a VERY expensive fix. He and Seth came and fixed the issue in under 10 minutes! Best $200 I've ever spent! I will DEFINITELY use SJO Electric in the future!! If I could give 6 stars I would :)
