General Contractor reviews in Arvada, Colorado

We had been through several contractors trying to get this job done he took over in the middle of the job to get permits which wasn’t easy took care of getting an architect. He had great suggestions of cost saving ideas was extremely professional and got the job done where another contractor just left us high and dry. We would definitely use them again for any construction job thanks Marsha and Rene

I am extremely disappointed in this company. We obtained an estimate in December for a project which was to be a Christmas present for our 12 year old daughter (a small remodel of her bedroom). After several emails back and forth, Rob told us he would be able to start the project after January 15. Following that email (sent on 12/29), he completely ghosted us. I have made numerous attempts to contact him with absolutely no response. In my last email (sent 2/25), I asked him to please respond and that if he was no longer willing or able to complete the work, to please let us know so that we could find another contractor. Still, absolutely no response. We are now 3 months out from our initial estimate and starting over with finding a new contractor, obtaining a new estimate, and waiting for them to have availability. Needless to say, my daughter is quite disappointed and still waiting for her Christmas present. I feel that because this was a smaller project, Rob decided it wasn’t worth his time and could not find the courtesy to even let us know. Very unprofessional and a loss to him as we have other, larger projects that we will be pursuing over the next year once we find a contractor we are happy with.

I highly recommend AG Contractors for any of your construction needs. I hired this company to build out my office space and their craftsmanship, creative ideas and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled with the finished product and would only use them in the future.

Big thanks to Rob at AG CONTRACTORS! --- I hired AG to install a new support pole in our basement, and the experience was great. Rob provided an estimate, and engaged + completed the work on time and per the estimate that was provided before the work was started. If you need a professional contractor --- for home or your business --- you will not be disappointed if you go with AG CONTRACTORS!

Rob and his team did a remolding for our basement, and they did a great job and finished it on time.
The Way Rob handled the project was extremely professional and always respectful. also his team always were very Clean and used martials to protect my floors. I highly recommend using this company

A.G. Contractors, can’t say enough about Rob or his crews. Rob is just a very pleasant man who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the trades and insurance world. He took our concerns and inputt to heart and we ended up with an amazing remodeling result on the exterior house, our breezeway and garage. His crews are polite and hardworking. We are so pleased with the result and receive many compliments.

I can't say enough about Rob and Oscar. They were great with my repairs around my new home. They were efficient and prompt with getting things done. Everything they did was high quality. I would definitely have them back for more repairs in the future. 😊

We used Rob for our front door install and 56 cabinet pull installs. He was very professional and asked a lot of questions to make sure it was done to our liking. The work came out great! We are now talking to him about repairing or siding our house.

I was in a real bind. My house was for sale and needed significant structural repairs done quickly. My structural engineer recommended AG Contractors as a quality builder. I contacted Rob and he responded quickly with a site inspection and a proposal at a reasonable price. Moreover, he promised to do the work in the needed timeframe. He assembled a quality team and accomplished the work in a highly professional manner on time. AG Contractors is a firm you can trust. I recommend AG highly.

We hired AG contractors to do our roof and did some interior remodeling. Rob and his crew did an amazing job! We are very pleased with the craftsmanship and professionalism . Highly recommended company.

I can’t speak enough of the quality work from Rob and his crew. Our roof was done in no time and looks excellent. We also had new siding put on our house and it’s absolutely beautiful. He made sure we were satisfied, his crew was professional and trustworthy and worked every day until it was finished. Besides the work being top notch it looks amazing.

Thanks to Rob and his roofing crew at AG Contractors. Excellent work and customer service. Friendly staff and workers too. Our roof had been damaged by hail and Rob met with the insurance company. He found a lot of problems that the insurance agent ignored or didn't see. At the end, AG Contractors also settled up with the insurance company. The roof is beautiful! Definitely A+ work! I highly recommend AG Contractors for any kind of roofing or remodeling project.

AG Contractors agreed to take down two large cotton trees, and replace the rotting fence in my backyard. They did an amazing job taking down the huge trees and grinding the stumps. Afterwards, they did a great job replacing the fence. They replaced the rotting posts and fixed both of the gates. It’s sturdy and gives us peace of mind that our dog cannot escape anymore! Their communication of where they were throughout the process and the expected completion time was very appreciated. It was a pleasure working with AG contractors and I look forward to working with them again. I would recommend them 100%!!

Rob worked on my roof, ceiling (installed load bearing beam for open concept), basement foundation reinforcement along with floating walls and drywall, replacement of egress window well and concrete work on the side of my house as well. He was easy to work with, great at keeping an open line of communication and I am very please with all the work he and his crew did for me. I would highly recommend! Maye K/Sergio G

Fantastic job! AG CONTRACTORS exceeded expectations. They handled interactions with my insurance company seamlessly, securing both a new roof and siding. Additionally, we enlisted their services for remodeling our basement bathroom. I highly recommend this contractor and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

I am extremely satisfied with this company. Everything was done in a perfectly matter of time and turned out absolutely amazing. I got a couple things done in my house because it needed updating. Rob and his crew asked me multiple questions and gave me many options for my kitchen which turned out absolutely stunning. Me and my husband are satisfied with his work. On top of that we got a couple things painted around our house which was very professional and came out extremely modern. I am definitely going to reach out to this company again with any more things I need done around my house. Mike and Rob were very nice and easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend this company!

Was excited that we had met a very transparent contractor willing to help us through our bathroom renovation project ($30k+). Unfortunately, as soon as we signed and gave a deposit, the assistance stopped and Jim started pushing a different schedule due to another job being delayed. According to my wife, Jim seemed annoyed by any questions that contradicted his plan (not ours). Fortunately, after a week Jim sent an email saying they were terminating the contract. I felt that was a fairly low integrity move from this company but probably the best course of action as we had lost confidence in their customer service desire. Honestly, I believe he thought this was an easy dollar, realized it wasn't, and just replaced us with a more profitable job. Seemed like a decent guy, but I wouldn't attempt to work with SCS, Inc again.

I hired SCS Inc. to remodel an old apartment building with 4 units. The wiring was bad and the plumbing needed work. There were many problems with the building and the permits and Jim worked with me on all of them. He was always available and tackled the problems and saw them through to completion. He combined two of the units into a two bedroom apartment and I am very pleased with the results. Jim was very professional and easy to work with. He and his workers were always pleasant and courteous and gave me the best products while staying in budget and good advice on what would work and what wouldn't work. I would recommend him to my friends and would hire him for any future work.
