Wonderful company to work with! We had to replace a missing chunk of our main line (yes, you read that correctly) which our home inspector “missed” when we purchased a year and a half ago. (HUGE shame on Sewer Optics, do not recommend them whatsoever!) Not only was an entire 4’ of pipe entirely rotted away (which all vendors we vetted out for this job noted that does not happen in 18 mos, it takes years and years) — but to boot, whomever had “installed” the portion of pipe to join with it within our home also never put a fitting/tie on it to connect it with the existing pipe (again, very BAD form by Sewer Optics and their “inspection”).

Charlotte w Apex was so patient and accommodating from the very first frantic phone call, as was Jack who came out to provide a quote. Transparent about what may need to be done, and offered the most honest pricing out of the 6 bids I got. I felt all along the way we would be in very capable, trustworthy hands. This was especially important for such an expensive fix (which is never fun).

The day-of, the crew was on time (early even!). Took wonderful care of the yard to preserve surrounding space. Their crew lead explained everything to me along the way, both inside the home and out (as this missing pipe was right at our foundation!). All were so polite. They lined all parts of the house with plastic to prevent messes in traffic areas; laid boards on the grass to protect from the mini-Ex. Very friendly, efficient and fast.

No one wants to have to encounter a repair like this. I hope we do not need to again soon; bit should the need arise, we will be calling Apex ASAP without hesitation!

No one wants to have work done on their sewer line, but if you need to in the Denver area use Apex. Jack V was the most courteous and professional person I have worked with through a home remodel. Great communication, polite and transparent.

They got all work completed in one day and it was as if it never happened -- highly recommend and give Jack a raise

    Apex Plumbing and
Jerry Middleton are a superior team for underground plumbing issues. They were actually able to replace my entire main line within 30 hours of our first meeting, having scheduled city inspections and obtained permits during that time. It was not because they had extra staff available, but they took my problem seriously, rearranged their schedules and just plain got it done. I was truly impressed.

Had to completely replace my sewer line out to the city tap. They did a great job at a fair price. Yes, it's expensive but it needed to be done. They gave some options to piece meal the job but I decided just to have the complete sewer line replaced and be done with it. They had a great crew with good equipment and got the job done on time. My plumber (Jake the Snake) recommended them and I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out.

We had water filling and overflowing our meter case at the edge of our yard. Water main leak.... costly! We called a few companies to get estimates, and Apex answered their phones instead of making us leave a message. And, they sent a tech quickly.
By all appearances it was a leak on our side. Our tech, Rawel, was incredibly thorough and spent a good amount of time investigating during a FREE assessment callout.
Rawel was perplexed by what he was seeing, but not due to a lack of knowledge, but because he was so knowledgeable and it just didn't seem like a main line leak to him.
He suggested we call the city (again, as they were dismissive when we first called).
The city finally sent a tech, and that tech discovered that they had installed a new meter (we were not informed) incorrectly. The city tech replaced the meter and the problem was solved.
We were preparing for the worst (cost, inconvenience, landscape repair, etc.), and because Rawel was so thorough he saved us.
We cannot thank Apex enough and highly HIGHLY recommend their services.

We recently used Apex Plumbing to fix our sewer line and they were so professional and affordable! We were quoted nearly $20,000 from “the other guys” and Apex came back with a MUCH more affordable quote. The work was very well done and they made scheduling a breeze. HIGHLY recommended!

Ulissa was great to work with. We had 6 companies come out to give us a quote for a sewer line repair. We found the issue during an inspection while selling our house. Out of the 6 companies onky two showed up when they said they would apex and tipping hat. Apex was not the least expensive quote but by far we felt like they were the most honest with us. They were also half the price of several other companies for the work we needed done. It was crazy how far apart the quotes were and apex was at the lower end for price. They worked with a tight schedule so we did not need to move our closing date. They had the sewer line replaced in a day and did a great job cleaning the site up. They were always so nice to talk with on the phone. I did end up speaking with at least three different people and the experience was the same with all of them. I would recommend them and will be using them for any future plumbing jobs I have.

Apex completed a full sewer line replacement for us. We were under a time crunch bc the work had to be completed before closing on our house. Apex was very respectful and attentive to our timeline, and they completed the work with over a week to spare. I would recommend them to anyone needed sewer line work.

Wanted to take a moment to thank and sing the praises of the Apex Plumbing team. My wife and I bought a home last year that had previously experienced a severe sewer line backup into the basement (caused by a snag in the city lines) before we bought the home. This backup effected four of our neighbors homes as well. Apex worked with us on an affordable and preventative solution to this ever happening again. Lyric and the team at Apex plumbing were professional, on time, and responsive during the process. We'll certainly use them again for any repair and/or improvements going forward. Highly recommended!

We were out of town when a big snow/freeze hit Colorado. Although we had heat in the house, the line from the street to the house froze, broke, and we had water in the basement. Apex was recommended to us, so we contacted them by phone. They were incredibly responsive and got someone out to give us an estimate very quickly, even though we were not on the premises. They are great with their communication and kept in constant touch throughout the entire process. The job, from start to finish, was done in a timely manner and with great skill. They kept the house clean by laying down floor coverings throughout. Their price was reasonable, and we are very happy to recommend them.

These guys are great! When I bought my home, they came highly recommended from my realtor and now I know why. These guys were on it! Jack, who did our estimate and was my contact throughout the process, was responsive and thorough and very pleasant to work with! When the guys had to dig a little into our garden, they literally replaced every single plant and stone back where it was so you couldn’t even tell they were there!! Not to mention that I got another estimate that was $9,000 more than Apex!! For the same job! These guys are awesome.

We had a quick closing date for the sale of our home and found out there was a belly in our sewer line. I called Apex and the crew was amazing respected our property and did a wonderful job looks like no one was here when they completed the job. I am so glad I chose Apex everyone was so understanding and professional right down to the office staff. Cheers to you all great job. I will definitely refer you in the future.

Apex was much cheaper than two other bids from large plumbing firms that advertise a lot. The work was scheduled promptly . We had a outage of less than 4 hours. They replaced our line in one day with part of the next day needed for backfill and cleanup.

I had to replace my main water supply line from the main to the house and got 3 bids. Apex wasn't the lowest or highest but even in the bid phase these guys outperformed the rest in timeliness and professionalism. I hired Apex for the work and they replaced the line (with a larger one that I requested), repaired the concrete and the street that had to be removed and did it all in a timely manner. All repair work was spot on and looks great. We passed the city inspection and now enjoy a home with no lead and way better water flow. I would recommend Apex as they tackled this large project better than I could have expected.

Apex has been our "go-to" for years in Denver - always professional and reliable. Recently they have gone to an answering service that is equivalent to calling a pack of monkeys trying to talk on a phone. We're not calling back. Apex has taken a huge step backwards with this business component.

I am a construction superintendent with 25 years of experience. Over the years I’ve worked with dozens of plumbing companies, but I don’t think I’ve ever been as satisfied as I am with apex plumbing. First off, I thought they were creative in their solution to my problem which in my professional opinion was not an easy job. They were fast, efficient, clean and most importantly safe. They also gave me the exact date I requested, roughly two weeks from the time I contacted them. I even thought that their price was good, considering what the job involved. I couldn’t be happier and I would definitely use them again.

Apex Plumbing did a great job helping us before, during and after a crisis plumbing situation. All the people I worked with were friendly, courteous and responded quickly to any phone calls or questions. Upon completion of the job they made sure we were satisfied with their work. I highly recommend Apex Plumbing.

Apex did a great job with a pretty big job in our basement. We had a leaky pipe in our basement concrete floor that had to be dug out and then pipes replaced from inside all the way to 25 feet out front in our driveway. They made a big job feel totally manageable and left the place in good shape.

Their pricing was also fair for the amount of work as we did get a number of other quotes. I would recommend them for sure.

UPDATE: Apex Plumbing was contracted by the City of Denver for the Lead Reduction Program. The contractors came to my house on 8/18 to replace our main water line. When they left, we immediately noticed issues with our water heater and later that night, it died. We let them know about the issue and they have gone above and beyond to resolve it. Fransisco called me personally and assured me that it would be taken care of. As of 8/23, they have replaced our water heater with a brand new one. Accidents happen on massive city projects like these. I highly respect Apex Plumbing for doing the right thing to make it better. As far as the quality of the installation goes - they're pros. I recommend them.

I recently contracted with Apex Plumbing to replace a lateral sewer line serving my townhouse unit that had failed. Obviously a situation like I was dealing with requires putting together a team that knows what they are doing and also understands the urgency of the situation. Apex Plumbing excelled at both. They were able to explain the process of replacing the line to me and were available to get the job done within a reasonable time. In addition, its charges for the services were very competitive. If I could give this company 6 stars, I would not hesitate to do so. They were professional and went above and beyond what I have see other sewer line replacement companies do. A wonderful experience.

    I can't recommend APEX Plumbing.

After doing a lead water test from Denver Water, I found out my water service line was made of lead, and I worked with Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) to get the line replaced. In the bidding process, DURA selected them for the job because it was the lowest bid. After the line was replaced, I found out they were the only bid submitted, which was done on 1/17/2018.

When they gave me an estimate for my project in early February, they suggested we use their mole borer because of the location of my existing water line. They also said using that method would require the least amount of demolition inside my house. The water service line comes into the house in my bedroom through the floor, so I was glad Jim, their estimator, had a plan for minimizing the impact to my life & house. Jamie, who schedules the work, said the job would only take 1 day.

2+ months later, their crew showed up without any knowledge about what we'd talked about during the estimate. Their crew didn't want to use my front door for access and instead opted to walk on my freshly planted grass seed to access the back door. This only stopped after I asked their supervisor, Mike, to ask them to use the front door. After looking at my existing service line, Mike, said that they were not going to be able to replace it in the manner I discussed with the estimator, so more demolition was necessary and they started jackhammering the floor and dismantling the cabinet containing all the water valves.

Their crew used duct tape to secure the plastic sheets, and when removing them after the first day, the duct tape took off paint from my walls and ceilings as well as left residue on my floors. Blue painters tape was used a few places, but I have no idea why it wasn't used everywhere like it should have been.

Mid-afternoon, I was notified that the job wouldn't be completed that day. At the end of the day, my bedroom was left in an unusable state.

The next day, the crew arrived early and continued on their work. They did not put out protective plastic throughout the house for this day's work like they'd done the previous day.

They “completed the job at the end of the 2nd day. The meter pit they installed is about 2-3 inches too high, so it'll be an obstacle to avoid while mowing once grass is planted. They said the job was done even though nothing was put back together in my basement. I had to contact them again to get this addressed.

After contacting Jim about the incomplete job and explaining the difference between what I was told they were going to do and what actually happened, he apologized for any miscommunication, but said "Unfortunately the Dura program is always low bid, so any better technology causing additional costs are rarely included." This wasn't what he said during the estimate.

Jim said that Mike would come by to “check the grade of the meter pit and address any other tie up issues,” but he never showed up. Someone from APEX came by to verify the sprinklers were working. He agreed about the meter pit being too high and said they should be able to fix it. Mike did not show up to take care of the basement or the meter pit & shutoff that were set to high.

Denver Water came to inspect their work and agreed the meter pit & shut off were too high and failed their inspection (with an additional issue related to the install inside the meter pit).

Jim finally responded to my email saying since it's a DURA job, interior repairs are not included. If this was the case, Mike shouldn’t have said he’d fix it.

Three days after they “completed” my job, a crew showed up to fix the height of the meter pit & shutoff valve. While fixing this, they cracked a large paver in my flagstone walkway that’s between the curb and sidewalk.

It’s now been seven business days since my job was “completed”. My basement is still torn apart, I still have cracked paver, and I haven’t heard anything from Apex about getting this taken care of.
