Aether Mechanical came out to give me an estimate for my AC unit and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Super professional, on time, and easy to communicate with from the start. Liam walked me through what he was seeing, explained my options in a way that actually made sense, and didn’t try to upsell me or pressure me into anything.

The estimate was clear, detailed, and fair, and Nico answered all my questions without rushing. If you want an HVAC company that’s honest, knowledgeable, and treats you with respect, I’d absolutely recommend Aether Mechanical

Nico and crew were great installing our Navien boiler. So good in fact, that I had them do our gas furnace as well. Couldn't have been more professional. We've had no problems with either one and it's been 2 - 3 years. Nico explained the importance of regular maintenance, so we did it. No more worrying if something going to fail. We wouldn't call anyone else. Very fair/reasonable pricing...and honest - and more than than that cannot ask.

We were at a loss before finding Aether Mechanical! We had a combi boiler that was very loud, it sounded like it wanted to blow up, it never properly worked. We did not want to call the original installer, we were done spending good money on a bad situation. Fortunately, we found Aether Mechanical (a God send). On Wednesday, Dec 3rd, Nico and Louis came into our home. They looked at our Lochinvar boiler and told us immediately it was connected backwards. Turns out the entire boiler was bad due to poor installation. On Thursday, Dec 4th, Nico and his amazing team, put a new Navien combi boiler with all new parts and piping. They were extremely professional, clean, efficient, new combi boiler in one day!! This boiler is amazing!!! The house is warm, the hot water is hot, no loud noises, no low flame lock outs and the house is comfortable, quiet, and we feel very confident this new Navien system is what we needed. They also have interest free financing. This is the only company we would recommend for your Boiler, HVAC, and Furnace needs!! Thank you Aether Mechanical. So grateful we found you! You will never go wrong with Aether Mechanical, they are the best!!

Can’t say enough about this company! Nicolas, the owner, came out and diagnosed my furnace system after I noticed it acting finicky. He spent over an hour conducting rigorous testing, explaining every piece of my system and how it works, and trying to find the best solution for our home. Unfortunately, the furnace was not able to be saved as it was damaged and an active fire hazard. Nicolas presented several options to me for purchasing a new furnace, explaining the pros and cons of each, and was honest with what my home did/didn’t need from a new system in terms of efficiency and power. Aether’s offerings were not just cheaper, they were at least 10k lower than the other quotes we’ve gotten from some of the big name HVAC competition in Denver! Not to mention their warranty coverage and included servicing was unmatched, and they went out of their way to find the most convenient payment options for us. It was an easy yes.

All the necessary parts and the unit itself were in stock, so we were able to install the next morning. Laramie and Liam were prompt, kind, and got right to work. They even went above and beyond to clean out the central duct to the best of their ability, which had been clogged from years of deferred maintenance by the previous homeowners. They left the furnace area cleaner than they found it, and went through all the necessary details with me to make sure I didn’t have any remaining questions before leaving the home.

Our home is warmer, cozier, and safer than it has ever been! We will definitely be calling them again.

Aether Mechanical was a great help when our hot water heater randomly shut off one morning. They had installed the water heater originally and then it went out about a year later. They came out initially and suspected the thermocouple had gone bad. After attempting to repair the thermocouple to no avail, they ended up replacing the part in full. During both of these visits, their team was kind, responsive, and even explained to me what the issue was that they were attempting to solve. Really respected their level of customer service.

Unfortunately the problem persisted and that night the hot water shut off again. I sent a text to their emergency/after-hours number and they arrived with a new hot water heater by 8am the following morning.

The entire team is professional, caring, and go above and beyond to ensure their customer is satisfied.

I asked Aether Mechanical out to see if they could install a range hood and bathroom ventilation fan with external ventilation. They said they could do the job and gave me a quote. It sounded reasonable. However, I encountered numerous issues from the start.

They couldn’t get the work order and contact information correct.

They cancelled my installation without notifying me.

When they did send people out they didn’t have the skills to do the job. The installer they sent literally said he didn’t do hoods, roof cuts, woodwork or electrical work.

The cut through the cabinet was pretty sloppy and they broke my attic access panel.

The only reason this wasn’t a one star review is because the installer was courteous and the owner of the business covered the cost of roof work which they neglected to include in the quote amount.

These guys didn’t connect my humidifier correctly, kept rescheduling with me, then I had a huge leak in my basement and the guy is trying to sue me cause he says he slipped outside during one of the Colorado snow storms. These guys are horrible! Lawyer up if you use them, I have to now.

I’m going to be objective about this and you can make your own decision. We need a new boiler within the next 5 years. We decided to start looking into engineering companies to explore our options. Nicolas arrived timely and within short notice. He seemed so knowledgeable, and I was impressed. Despite trusting our current company, we decided to try out Aether to see what we thought of them for our boiler replacement by turning on our boilers this season. They were more affordable and Nicolas is a reported engineer although you cannot find him as a licensed engineer in DORA. Other engineers we have explored are licensed in DORA. We have two boilers. After arriving to work on our boilers with another guy, Nicolas called me and showed me the boiler lighting up more than it should on startup bc of a gas problem. He immediately said we needed a new boiler. A new boiler for us costs between 57k to 70k based on Nicolas’ 3 estimates. This actually seems correct compared to prior data we have. What concerned me is such an immediate conclusion of needing a whole new boiler. Our boiler was fine at shut down in May. I suggested why not replace the gas regulator and see if that would work. Seems reasonable if too much gas is coming out. Nicolas then said that it would be possible to look into. I left. Struck me as odd that I had to suggest that. Maybe an hour later he contacted me and said that he tested the gas pressure on the regulator unit or whatever and the pressure was correct. The only thing it could be was a crack in one of the burners, necessitating a new boiler. He put a red tag on it, shut it down, and said this was a very unsafe situation. He also went and turned on our other boiler. Again, another call. Our reset button on the low water cut off was broken and we needed to replace the part. Also, something was wonky with the electrical wires so they fixed that, but we needed to do something with that too. He also alleged that our last company must have cut this wire thing with the other cut off part that he quickly found lying on the side of the boiler. He said there was no way that our boiler could operate with that. It had to be the last boiler company. He pointed out the clear cut the company must have made in the component. More money. Two days later, our original, trusted boiler company came out for a second opinion. They reattached the “cut part” that was removed from where it should have been. They did several other things. Boiler is up and running. He pulled out all the burners. No cracks. Fixed for around 1k vs 57-70k! Also, having used our original boiler company for last year’s turn on and shut off as well as repairs, they are quite familiar with our boilers. I had them look at the low water cut off. They reported it has been rewired, causing it to bypass the cut off. They fixed the wiring, and it is suddenly working, again! This was the low water cut off is for SAFETY by the way. No replacement needed. I wonder what Aether was doing with the wires. Would you? We were supposed to have a meeting with Nicolas the next day, as it’s October and we need heat. I sent him a very objective email about how our boiler was fixed and the wires were bypassed. I shared a nice video of our beautifully burning boiler that was fixed and safe. I cancelled our meeting. He texted and called me the same day. I ignored it. This is factual, objective information. You make your own inferences given this information. I don’t know how you can rationalize this any other way than what is clear here. Everyone is safe and cozy tonight with heat is still in the building with the supposedly irreparably “broken” boiler. First video…a video Nicolas sent of our “broken” and “unsafe” boiler needing replacement. You can clearly hear his voice in the background towards the end. Enjoy the whole video! Second video two days later…looks like a safe burning boiler to me!
