We had MGI Mechanical Services do extensive work in our home to gain more energy saving equipment installing a heat pump water heater, new 98% AFUE furnace with Aprilaire high efficient air filter and Iwave-R needle point ionizer for added filtration. They installed a smart thermostat, and an ERVS100S energy recovery ventilator. The installers were extremely competent and professional in their work on this job. Yet, I always felt I was listened to in any questions or concerns I asked and had. I cannot recommended Mike Missimer highly enough. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He definitely has the comfort of the homeowner in mind at all times.

Mark is very professional and thorough with his work. He is polite and very respectful. He explains everything he did and shows pictures of his work. Very satisfied with his work.

Kris knows his stuff. Fixed a zone damper in house this summer, works so much better. Paid another company to fix it but they never could. Kris just repaired blown fuse but checked out system to be sure there wasn’t another reason for fuse to blow. Previous company had to small a fuse. Like I said Kris knows his stuff. Thanks

Thank goodness that there are still honest guys out there who are not after profits over people. Thank you MIKE!!! Last week, my heater stopped working and the storm was here for days. I called my usual company who could not come out for 8 days. I called Lion and they came to my house within 45 minutes. They acted as friend and gave me a "discounted" estimate for $17,193 down from $20,858 for a new furnace and air conditioner. Neither was fully inspected. I was told the repair would be $2281 but not worth the band-aid since my unit was so old and would need to be replaced anyway. Mike showed up patient and reassuring. He told me that my motor needed to be replaced and had the job completed for $746.59. For another $129, my entire system was inspected and tuned up. They found out there was no rust and no leaks, which Lion assumed there was. MGI estimated, my system should be good for maybe another 4-6 years with regular filter changes. Mike and his guys, Michael and Pierce, could not have been more professional and reliable. Thank you to the MGI team!!

Mike is great! My furnace went out over the weekend. He was out to my house on Sunday, and even though he had to order a part, he had the heat back running early Monday! He is friendly, professional and very responsive. I'm grateful for the wonderful service that MGI Mechanical Services offers, I would highly recommend them!

James was on time and very professional. He came out to perform some maintenance on our pretty newly installed HVAC system. He found a few problems and fixed them promptly. He also let me know how we could save money by doing a few things ourselves that were easy and fool proof. He went out of his way to address all my concerns which left me feeling confident about the service. I will definitely use MGI Mechanical Services again in the future.

I have lived in Fort Collins for over 25 years and Mike (the owner of MGI) and the crew are simply the best. They are a top notch operation. Professional, courteous and they get the job done. Mark was amazing! He was very professional, arrived on time (actually early, but he called first to make sure it was ok), and did a fantastic job tuning up our AC. He thoroughly explained how to keep our AC running at its best. Plus, he was really easy to chat with! We would not hesitate to call Mark again for all of our AC needs.

We were lucky enough to have Pierce at our home this morning to checkout our furnace. After 4 different companies trouble shooting our system, he was able to give us the best advise moving forward and finally get our furnace up and working again. He was polite, professional and honest. This is the service you get when employees are treated with respect and it ripples down to the final customer.

MGI Mechanical answered their phone on my first call. They were very friendly and easy to talk to, and were able to get me on their schedule within a week. On the day of the service the tech, Pierce, arrived early (after calling to see if that would be okay.) He was polite, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. He tuned up our furnace that was leaking water, and was unbearably loud. He was very thorough, patient and efficient. The price was very fair. Our furnace is practically silent now. We are so glad to have discovered these guys and will absolutely be having them back for our yearly maintenance.

Mike and his crew are GREAT! We had them install a whole home humidifier and he did a MUCH better job at explaining my options than the 2 other companies I spoke with. He was nice, friendly and knowledgeable - just like the tech he sent to do the install. All-around terrific service. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Mark came to service my HVAC system, including the humidifier MGI installed earlier this year. He was very professional and efficient. As he finished, he explained to me each step he had taken along the way as well. He was thorough and helpful with his explanations as he had been with the work he undertook. We are super happy with MGI. The owner, Mike, was great to work with. We got multiple quotes and his was the best by far. During installation his team was kind and efficient. After everything was installed Mike came back a week later to check the function of everything and to go over final paperwork in-person. I could not be happier with MGI Mechanical Services. My 33 year old water heater had so much sediment, my hot water started running red with, I guess, rust. It was obviously time to replace it.

I had been recommended to two local companies, and called both.

Mike at MGI was super helpful, very pleasant and professional, and had what I needed in stock.

I called on Thursday morning, and by Friday morning, had a brand new water heater installed and working. The price was fair and the installation went flawlessly.

Update: James from MGI Mechanical came out today to do a tuneup on my air conditioning system. It’s a 34 year old system that has not been tuned up in many years.

He was efficient, knowledgeable, and was able to explain things to me in a way that I could understand them.

Because there are a few things that are not perfect at this stage of its life, he could’ve easily sold me hundreds and hundreds of dollars of repairs that may or may not have worked. Instead, he gave me advice on how to keep it going as long as I could, and gave me an idea of what it would cost me when I need to replace it. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company and this technician, and could not recommend them more highly.
