Landscaping reviews in Brighton, Colorado

I bought some sod throw them about a year ago, and my lawn got infested with mushrooms. Never had mushrooms until I had laid down some sod. Don’t buy their sod unless you like mushrooms in your yard!

We hired this company to pour concrete on our property in addition to landscaping. When we initially had the work done they kept telling us they would come a certain day to do the landscaping then wouldn’t show up I would have to call and see what the deal was. They used the rocks as a wash out area for their supplies. In turn, the excess concrete hardened in our rocks causing flooding issues. We called the company to explain what happened and we asked if they could send someone to jackhammer the large concrete spread. They asked us to send photos of the area which we did and did not hear back from them for about a week. We called back and explained again what happened and we told them we sent photos and didn’t get a response. We were told they would send someone out Thursday or Friday of that week and they never sent anyone out and never got in contact with us again about it. We will never use this company again.

From the first interactions with Ivan we knew we would hire Leo Landscaping. Ivan was very responsive and answered any questions we had. The guys worked very fast and were very respectful of our property. 100% recommend this company to all our friends and neighbors.

Leo Landscaping has been amazing! So easy to work with, they got our entire project done in just 2 days (sprinkler and drip system, pavers, rock, grass, trees & plants). I got many quotes prior to booking & Leo Landscapes prices were very reasonable & the professionalism behind the teams work is spectacular! So happy & highly recommend. The staff handled all of my questions about our project with professionalism & expertise & exceeded our expectations.

I will start by saying I highly recommend this company! I got several estimates for a retaining wall replacement, bush removal and some other landscaping, and Leo Landscape was by far the most prompt and the best bid for the work. From the date of the initial consultation to the beginning of the work, Connor was in touch with me regularly with updates and what to expect. They exceeded my expectations to say the last. By the way, I received a bid from a different company that was $7000.00 MORE for the same job Leo Landscape did, and Leo Landscape completed the job significantly faster than the other company could and they also started much sooner than the other company. End to end this was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend them to all of my friends, family and clients. Thank you Leo Landscaping and crew!!

Very shady company Beware of Jose and Carolina. They hire the cheapest sub contractors they can find to perform the work. Then will never answer the phone when they have problems or warranty work. They don’t pay the commission they promise their employees. Beware

If you like for your wife to be disrespected and mansplained everything this might be the landscape company for you.
I have never seen worse behavior aimed at a woman in my life.
My wife tried to show the owner of the company where she wanted the hot tub plug to come out of the ground. He proceeded to tell her that she was wrong that she was wrong and that she was wrong. And it would be a great jacuzzi and to relax about 15 times. Turns out the odor put the conduit in the wrong spot. It is an eyesore and now looks terrible. And furthermore absolutely disrespected and mansplained my wife all while being horribly wrong himself. Furthermore there are contractor manager just told our finance company that our project was complete and that we should pay the full amount when there is literally five workers in my backyard right now and they are about 93% finished.

I certainly would not recommend this experience. The only good thing I would say is they offer financing. Other than that I'm sure you can find someone equally competent for less money

I saw their ads and, after quoting from other companies, they gave me the best price! They left my garden beautiful, just as I requested!

They did an amazing job look how my beautiful yard came out to her will recommend these guys again it’s sad to see how people with negativity put hateful comments over a little misconception that could be easily fixed that’s why you should always get warranty but overall the guys did a great job and were really friendly and helpful in choosing things for my yard

This company spent time going door to.door in my neighborhood placing flyers on the door with amazing deals. I called and set an appointment.

Had 2 confirmation calls today making sure I would be available. An hour prior to our appointment time I received a call asking for the appointment to be moved.

I shared my disappointment as I took off work and am looking for a contractor who can manage a schedule. He told me that he would be on time and that he was just asking.

He no showed. I called. He let me know he thought I canceled and tried to justify his no show.

I put a photo of the flyer on my neighborhood page warning others that they seem to say one thing and then blame the customer.

That was 5 minutes ago. They are no showing the entire neighborhood! Several other have had the same issue this week and last. One neighbor has taken off work twice for no shows.

I'd be careful here. Who knows what they will say about pricing, etc. A no show gaslignting conversation is FAR better than a pricing gaslight.

This company is not recommended nor would I even waste my time with getting a price. For $300 in product and 1 1/2 hours of work he wanted $2300 dollars! These folks are out to take advantage (Gouge)of people, not to provide a service at a fair price. DO NOT USE Leo’s Landscaping.

Me and my wife both unknowingly reached out separately to the company to get pricing for the delivery of sod. We both got different prices even though we both stated we wanted 700 sq ft. Not only that, Jose came out to give me an estimate and before even doing anything or measuring the yard he made me his “amazing” deal of 10k to top soil, sod, and run sprinklers in my backyard. I declined his amazing deal and asked for just the 700 sq ft of sod and he tells me it’s going to cost $1030 for that sod to be delivered. Warned you we had already gotten 2 quotes from them one for $319 and another for $345 plus delivery fee for that 700 sq ft. I would think twice about working with them.

Leo Landscape is the worst company I’ve ever done business with. They are extremely difficult to get in contact with, and NEVER show when they are supposed to. I’ve never had them show up to an appointment on or even around their scheduled time, and sometimes they don’t show at all. After taking 8 months to come out to complete warranty work, my patio looks worse than it did before. Leo Landcape was supposed to fill a small crack and replace some areas that were crumbling/falling apart. They came on a Wednesday and the patch jobs were a very different color. They assured me that by Friday it would be dried and finished. On Friday, the issue got worse. Leo Landcape moved some cooking equipment and furniture off our patio, and in the process of this tore our griddle cover, spilled grease all over our patio and turf, and proceeded to either paint or stain our patio, without letting us know or asking if we wanted this done. Not sure if this was done to cover to the grease stains or mismatched concrete color used on the patches. The patio is now so dark it is almost black and doesn’t match the existing concrete we had back there. They are trying to tell me that nothing was put on the patio, but you can clearly see the lines showing the color it used to be versus what it is now, because they did a poor job and missed some spots. I’ve been attempting to communicate with the CEO Jose multiple times per week with zero communication back. Every time I call the office, I’m told that a message was left with Jose and they’ll get back to me. It’s been weeks and nothing. I have many pictures and videos of the men working on the patio to back my claim. I would highly NOT recommend Leo Landscape.

Would not recommend!!! Employees not trained enough to provide quality work, had to re-pour concrete twice in our case. Covered a water spigot and only corrected because they lost our initial down payment check and we withheld the second until the work was corrected. Now the painted concrete is chipping and they are blowing us off again.

We had an amazing experience with Jose and his team at Leo Landscaping. After addressing a major drainage issue they did a fantastic job with shaping our landscape project with concrete curbing etc. the quality and price were very competitive as well. We have already submitted additional design for another area to our HOA to have them back. Very pleased

We have been pleased with most aspects of the backyard that Leo installed last summer... They even quickly fixed an installed fire pit that exploded a little while back. But they have a one time plant replacement warrantee but they refuse to even respond to my emails that iv been sending over the last few months. So I would say the initial work or disaster response seems fine but I just cant seem to get the super dry trees they planted replaced after they could not make it even in a wet spring/summer last year and active watering of these plants.

Leo Landscape is not a good choice for any of your landscapes needs. I had to get my concrete broken out and poured a second time cause of the lack of craftsmanship and experience. The second concrete pour is not great either they struggled with the pump and my concrete was like soup when they were finally able to get their pump going. They didn't install new rebar and left several voids with out rebar that i paid for in my contract. They didn't protect my home from splashing concrete and now the concrete is cracking in many spots which they are not willing to cover it currently under my warranty. I have weeds growing through my rocks all over the backyard after only a month.They cut my fence to access the yard and did a horrible job of putting it back together. I would avoid this company like the plague.

I hired Leo Landscape's services to install stamped concrete and a pergola in my yard, and I loved the results. Without a doubt, I would hire them again for future projects I have in mind. Thanks, Leo Landscape, for exceeding my expectations and having 100% professional staff.
