I had a great experience. The week before I was to install the solar was the big hail storm. It ruined my roof. They worked with me to both get my roof replaced and the Solar installed right away. I've been loving the Solar ever since.

I reached out to Liv Solar during a busy time and they were able to fit me in, and they performed the work when they said they would, and the communication back and forth was good. Matt answered any questions we had and also is helping us get our 'Enphase' back on track.

Honest up front and they st and behind their work. Months later we had an issue with a vent on our roof and they came out in less than 24 hours to fix tue issue. My electric bill has dropped by at least half every month and a couple months I even had a credit. The only regret I have is not adding more panels! I may just see what it would cost to add more on as I certainly have the space up there. Thank you Liv Solar!

We could not be more happy with our solar system from LivSolar! We got several quotes from other companies and found LivSolar to be the best by far. They truly were interested in finding how solar could benefit our personal situation and not trying to just get a "sale"! When it came time to install, their installation crew was very efficient and did an amazing job! Whenever I had a question, Matt answered it very quickly. Their bid was extremely equitable and the workmen were prompt and thorough. The original installation used faulty materials so there was rust--we knew nothing of this--LivSolar saw the problem, recommended replacement parts AND called Tesla to see about covering the cost. They did a great job for us!

Having to coordinate the solar panels' removal and then their reinstallation before and after replacement of our roofing was initially, a concern for me. But Matt was fantastic with his communication, scheduling the removal as late as reasonable before the roofing work began, and the re-installing the panels quickly after the roof had been installed. This limited the time we were without solar production as much as reasonably possible.
And the crew were clearly knowledgeable and worked quickly and cleanly.

Much more reasonable than other places I investigated. Their technicians were knowledgeable, skilled and efficient on the job with attention to detail. I would use them again, if needed.

As far as the system itself... it works better than we projected. The last project met the high standards of a "Net Zero" energy home and this could not have been achieved without Liv Solar and their guidance. Customer satisfaction was outstanding. I am technically oriented so I had lots of questions and needed lots of details. I talked to four different outfits and LivSolar did the best job in helping me understand what I needed based on my requirements. Granted some of my requirements needed some adjustment but Matt explained what would work best for what I was hoping to achieve. The price LivSolar quoted was the best price I received for an installed system. I had many questions before, during and after the install and each question was answered quickly and clearly.

Customer expectations was another area where LivSolar shined, no pun intended. Matt explained each step in the process and how long they typically take to complete. This helped me understand where we were in the overall process and what few things I needed to do to keep things moving.

The professionalism and friendliness of the install crew, led by Jared, was first rate. The install went quickly and they did a good job cleaning up the job site after their work was finished. The system is running great and up to my expectations as well.

Liv Solar did an amazing job. I absolutely recommend them for removing and reinstalling solar panels. They were friendly, easy to work with, and created less stress during a time that was stressful. Having to deal with insurance companies to fix a roof and also take care of solar panels is a headache. It was nice knowing that I could count on Liv Solar. I highly recommend this company.

I purchased a home solar system with a Generac battery backup. The initial purchase and install took a little longer than they initially told me but overall the quality of the work was good. My system was activated in April of 2022. In December the beacon that connects my system to the internet failed. Generac customer service told me to contact my installer and have them put in a warranty claim. I told Joel, the owner of Liv Solar and he said he would get the warranty process started and come install the new beacon once it came in. In March of 23 I hadn't heard back. I contacted Joel and he said Generac was just really slow processing warranty items. It's now June, 6 months since Joel said he would get my system fixed and he won't email me, call me or get back to me at all. I contacted Generac and they said they have no record of a warranty claim ever being submitted on my system.

Update as of June 9. They finally came out and got my system fixed so I increased from 1 star to 2. It still took 6 months which is way too long and too many ignored emails and phone calls.

Matt Hosking and the crew at Liv Solar could not have been more helpful, prompt, informative, conscious and courteous of our property while removing our solar panels and reinstalling them. I was looking for a local company to help me with my solar panels and was happy to find Liv Solar. Matt was honest and quick to reply to my emails and calls. I highly recommend them and will hire them again if I need help.

I really enjoyed working with Matt and Liv Solar while trying to bid out a solar installation job. They were friendly, professional, and low pressure. This is a company who will try to work with your budget and needs rather than sell you something more expensive than what you need. They took the time to educate me about solar and had some unique offerings in the residential space. While I did not end up moving forward, I would recommend people at least get a bid from them if they are looking for solar.

We called Liv Solar to do a removal and reinstall of our solar panels. When we called to get a quote, Matt Hosking answered immediately (we had some companies never even return our call). We had a new roof put on our home and Matt worked with our roofer all while emailing us and keeping us informed. His crew was efficient and respectful. Matt has WONDERFUL communication. We highly recommend Liv Solar to everyone!

We selected LivSolar to install a solar system for us in the spring of 2023. The system has been completely inoperable for the past 3-4 months, which means that our electric bill has gone up by 200-300% plus. In early November we traded emails with the founder/CEO of the company (Joel Scott) who informed us that he would promptly assist with the repairs. Per email communication from LivSolar/Joel in November: our system had been inspected, some of the microinverters required replacement and this is actual text from Joel Scott's email: "I’ll let you know when they arrive and we’ll swap them out right away." Fast forward to December 3rd and written email communication from LivSolar/Joel states that [and again, this is the text from the actual email]: "We just received the warranty replacements. I’m working on the schedule and will let you know when the guys will be out to swap those." It has now been going on 55-60 days with no follow up communication. Multiple calls unanswered. Multiple texts ignored. When Joel does decide to respond he makes some lame excuse and says essentially "don't worry we'll get to you next week." Worst customer service from a company that I can remember. If you're looking for a solar installer that provides a high level of customer service (or really, any service at all), look elsewhere. I can’t reiterate that more. If you are going to make an investment in adding solar to your home, make sure you make the investment with another company.

Verbally quote $300-500 on the phone to add 1 outlet, move 2 up 12 inches, and connect a 250V oven plug. ended up being closed to $750. They had to come back a week later to finish the job. would have preferred a single trip and being closer to the initial quote.
