We looked at a number of barn built in our area both by local contractors and nations companies. All of them used second rate lumber and didn't have the quality finish we were looking for. Then we fount Justin at VWC Construction. He not only exceeded our expectations for workmanship but kept on scheduled. VWC just completed a 30’ x 40’ garage for us. The crew is very well versed in what needs to be done. My project was completed quickly and the quality of the building is top notch. Not only was Julian’s quote very competitive, but we also walked away from our initial meeting with a feeling of “peace”, which we never got from other contractors we spoke with. Our building was not necessarily a difficult build, but it sits on top of a mountain near Raton pass, and Mother Nature dealt us several weather delays. Through it all Julian kept in touch with us, stopped by whenever he was in the area, and stayed on top of his subcontractors. His framing crew was amazing and their attention to detail in every part of the construction was incredible. Again, we couldn’t be any happier with the results of our building. My wife and I hired VWC to build an RV/storage building for us. Beginning with the permitting process, the dirt work, main building, concrete, to the finished project, everything was above and beyond our satisfaction. VWC's communication through the entire process was wonderful.

I bought the metal building through VWC
construction out of the Cañon City CO area. They were the dealer for the company and crew who assembled the building. Dustin, the person I worked from VWC was GREAT! Polite, punctual and very knowledgeable. The crew who assembled the building were great as well, very courteous, didn't hesitate to ask where to park, where/if we could leave the trailer, any questions regarding the details of the building. And when it was all said and done the jobsite was almost spotless. Maybe a half dozen self tapping screws the were missed by their magnet on wheels. Considering how many hundreds of those the used I'd say they did excellent. Julian, owner of VWC was here 3 times just to check to see how things were going and to ask me if everything was going well.
While the building was going up, I had another building a post and beam building being built. The company responsible was CLEARY. The experience was great until right after the contract was signed. Nightmare, totally the opposite the metal building experience.
BIG mistake on my part, doing business with that company. BEWARE of CLEARY.

I started researching metal pole barn, and researched many companies both online and locally in Chaffee county when starting with American steel I was not pleased with quality of materials and craftsmanship, after further research and finding VWC construction I pulled the trigger with them and very glad that I did.
After a tremendous amount of tree removal and dirt work, VWC construction had my barn built in literally five days.
