Pat and his family with Currant Creek Partnership were amazing to work with.

About 6 years ago, we purchased our land and struggled to find anyone willing to take on our driveway project. Only two companies even came out to look at it—one never followed through with an estimate, and the other proposed sloping the road off the hill to avoid drainage and culverts, which I wasn’t comfortable with. We did end up using his suggested route and roughed in the driveway ourselves.

Later, we hired someone else to finish it, but unfortunately, the work was done poorly. Over time, sections of road base washed away, deep ruts formed, and parts of the driveway became nearly unusable without 4WD.

At that point, we reached out to Pat. After walking the property together, we both agreed a completely new driveway design would be ideal—but it just wasn’t in the budget. Instead, Pat came up with a plan to repair and improve the existing driveway, including building a new section where it was needed.

I spent two weeks watching Pat and family work, and I was impressed every step of the way. Pat kept me informed about progress, challenges, and decisions we had to make throughout the entire process. It was clear they genuinely cared about doing the job right and making sure we were happy with the end result.

They absolutely delivered.

In total, Pat completed approximately 1,300 feet of driveway for us, and the quality of the work speaks for itself. I’ve even given him permission to share our project with future clients.

My wife and I very recently had a road installed on our property as well as a large area cleared and leveled so we can install a shed. Our property is sloped, rocky and heavily treed. Mr. Long met with us and gave us excellent advice for the best way to use our space to make sure no trees needed to be removed for the installation of the road and shed space. CCP Excavating has been the best company to work on our new construction build. Pat and Lori Long are the hardest working people, and do outstanding work, from building a brand new driveway, culverts, excavation for a new home, septic build, and everything in between, including road work and snow plow…all of which the Longs have done for us! As long as I live in Colorado, I will always rely on them for any of this work. Their prices are more than fair, and they are genuine and honest. I am glad to know them and call them friends now!

We have used CCP Excavating for a variety of projects around our place over the past several years. CCP also provides road maintenance services for our LOA, and has always been responsive and done an excellent job. Our property is on a steep mountain with potential rock; Pat, Laurie and Ganon walked the property with us on multiple occasions to discuss the pros and cons of the house, barn site and driveway options. During the process of building the driveway and barn pad; we discussed progress and met regularly. They were always happy to have us on site as they worked, walking us through the next steps or any questions.

Our building pad is great, our driveway looks amazing, with multiple comments from our neighbors on how good it looks; road base, ditches and culverts look like a county-maintained road. And best of all, under budget. They are friendly, they are local and they are absolutely amazing and we could not be happier.
