We would not recommend Daniel Semeacov (aka Shemyacov) and Andrei (aka Andrew) Pashuk of CustomSunroom LLC.
We hired them to complete a patio remodel, for which they told us they had the experience to handle. However, they proved themselves to be woefully incapable. We had a ridiculous number of problems dealing with them. Here is a high-level summary of our experience:
1. The 4-month contract we had with them ran past 6.5 months and still was not complete because they chose not man the job and refused to finish.
2. They caused damage (holes in the ceiling) to the interior of the house, failed to cover it from further water damage due to rain, and didn’t repair that damage for 4 months.
3. Over 75-80% of the time they were not on site to manage the project - they dropped off workers who spoke little English and were not aware of what was needed nor often experienced enough to do the work.
4. They caused so many construction errors (concrete and other structural), resulting in unwanted design changes and over $10k in problems, that we ended up going to court. The year-long court process resulted in the court keeping us from posting a bad review giving us 2 options; either we get to hold them in Contempt of Court for not following the court orders to complete the work and then allow them fix the damage they did to the house, or we just walk away from the agreement with a small amount of money. They are such a bad company that we chose to walk away, even though that meant we will have pay more to other contractors to complete the work.

If you hire them, you will likely be setting yourself up for the same problems, they will never apologize, and they will blame you for their mistakes. We know the construction market is difficult, but if you want it done right, this is not the company to choose to do your project.

Great work, good crew, fair price. House looks better than ever with our new deck cover, and has extended its seasonal use. Matched existing stucco, two-tone paint, gutters, and shingles so that it looks like it was part of the original home. They even went a step further to straighten and place foundation footers on our sagging deck stairs into the yard. An unlucky hammer drop and bounce accidently broke one pane of the back sliding door glass, but they swept into action to clean the area and keep it safe, ordered and paid for a brand new replacement sliding door with the original door vendor (not just some random or cheap door or pane replacement). Their response showed considerable honor and honesty. I would (and will) use them again for any home construction, deck or sunroom project!!

We're extremely impressed with our project we completed with these guys! We had a covered deck, concrete patio, and a new sliding glass door installed. The results are absolutely stunning and I love how well they communicated with us through the whole process. We would definitely hire them again plus recommend them to friends and family.

After interviewing many companies about replacing a porch that had been demolished due to settling, I found Daniel. Where others had disappointed, Daniel immediately understood what I needed and provided me with a affordable bid and worked very hard to make it happen within my timeline constraints. It was truly a pleasure to watch the process unfold. Each and every person who participated was clearly very skilled at his job, accommodating and friendly. There was attention to detail and clean up in the entire process. I will hire Daniel and his crew for any and all jobs I have in the future. Customsunroom was fantastic. If you want to pay thousands more for a one-style-fits-all look, go with a prefab company. If you want a sunroom that matches the style of your house built by skilled craftsmen, use Customsunroom. We added a sunroom to the back of our house. Looks like it was part of the original construction for style, paint, and finish. Inside is what we wanted a sunroom to be, lots of glass, but finished to match our interior.

We are extremely pleased with our patio cover! Daniel provided spot-on design help and attentive oversight to keep to schedule, and watching Yurii do the framing with his obvious experience (and strength!) was a pleasure. All personnel who contyributed to the building were outstanding in ability, dependability, and friendly helpfulness. Other building professionals who've worked with Custom Sunrooms expressed confidence in the company's integrity, which we also observed and benefited from. Highly recommended.

Custom Sunroom put an beautiful detached roof over our patio. They were so easy to work with from the estimate to the completion of the project. My husband had designed the structure and they were able to build exactly as we wanted. Their carpenters are fantastic. It is exactly what we wished for and was completed on time just before the holidays. Thank you to this amazing team of people who I recommend highly.

Daniel and his crew cut out and installed a new exterior door and new windows throughout my house. They did an amazing job and were done with all of the work in two days total. I am really impressed with the quality and how quick they were able to complete the work. They were flexible with materials that I wanted and scheduling. They were very affordable and communication was excellent through the entire process. Would highly recommend and will likely be hiring them again for some projects in the future.

We worked with Daniel on our new sunroom/master room addition and could not be happier with how it came out. From the very beginning Daniel was responsive, transparent, on-time, trustworthy, and very reasonably priced. I could go on and on about all the positives but ultimately if you're looking for a custom project for your home, go with Daniel and his team.

We highly recommend Daniel Semeacov and his crew. We would hire them again in a second. They built 2 beautiful decks for us. We went with Tiki-Torch TREX Transcend with hidden fasteners (those are great). Tiki-Torch looks like redwood, and it is a composite material which is on our HOA approved list.

We got a number of quotes before hiring Daniel, and as with all builders, we checked out his references. They were excellent as were the photos of previous projects. His estimate was fair and we didn’t have to wait forever to get a quote. He sent it a few days after he was here, just like he said he would.

Several of the deck companies who contacted us and came out took weeks to send us a quote.

We paid a reasonable deposit upfront for materials and then paid the rest in installments as the work was completed. That is so smart. We wish more contractors did this. It gives homeowners confidence that the builders are solvent and honest.

The workmanship on the decks was excellent. Floor Boards were properly and evenly spaced. Stairs and railings were well built.

Every worker respected our time and respected our property. The crew showed up when they said they would. If the weather forecast was going to be too inclement to work on a particular day, they let us know ahead of time.

Btw, they finished our decks in about 7 days in mid-January. So, yes, they build year round. They definitely handle the cold weather better than most people. Maybe that’s because one of the carpenters used to work in Siberia. No kidding! Lol! That said, we also were fortunate with the weather. There were only 2 days in January where it was too cold or snowy for them to build.

The work areas were cleaned up every single day, and every scrap of trash was hauled away at the completion of the project.

In the past we served on our HOA Boards, and we hired builders for many capital improvements. It was always a treat to find a builder who did excellent work, who was conscientious, and who was affordable. Finding Daniel was a real treat.

Daniel and his team were AMAZING to work with! From the very first drawings of our new deck and roof to the very last stages they were all a pleasure to work with. The team worked so hard during the summer heat to complete all of the projects on time and to be prepared for inspection. We were impressed with not only their work ethic, but also their attention to detail and how they cleaned up after themselves every day so we could still enjoy our patio and back yard during construction.
