Aug 2025: Aspenwood Landscape rerouted an underground drainpipe that was not draining correctly and water was creating a skating rink of ice leading to my front porch in winer months. I was not at home the day of the work and they sent me 2 videos showing and explaining what they did. I so appreciated being able to see what was done and it gave me a great understanding of how it was fixed.

Very good communication and ideas for the landscape! Customer service was top notch!

We looked at several different companies to put in a patio and build a stairway down a steep backyard hill. Aspenwood was by far the most helpful in making our vision come to life. From deciding on materials and colors to helping get approval from the HOA, they were easy to work with. Dakota and Phill were responsive to our questions, pointed out ways to make our vision more functional and delivered a quality product.

I hired Applewood back in May to install a huge pool and full backyard from a new property I purchased. They not the cheapest and far the the most expensive. They did a great job and finished on time and on budget. I highly recommend working with Joshua and his teammates. Thanks Josh

Reached to these guys online to get an estimate and boy it was treat. Never got a call but got a text instead. Anyway it got as far asking for a picture and a video of my back yard, I was like ok? This is odd usually to get an idea what you need at least show up on site see what the actual yard look like and talk to the home owner like most landscapers they get what they actually want. For 3 days there was lapses in communication where I had to say “are you there?”. This is by far unprofessional and unresponsive landscaper I’ve ever spoken to if not texted. They may have the best review by far but if they can’t call you or at least show up at your house I wouldn’t ever consider these guys...

I hired Aspenwood Landscaping to do a fall clean up on a small front and back yard in Castle Rock. When I requested a quote I was given an hourly rate for 2 workers and was told I had to pay a 2 hour minimum which I agreed to. After the service was completed I received an invoice double what I expected to pay. I was charged a $150 dump fee and was also charged an additional hourly rate for a 3rd worker which I did not request.

The quality of work was wonderful and I have no complaints about the job completed but this is simply an unfair way to do business. As a single mom I reached out to this company not knowing much about hiring a landscaping company and needing help. Other customers should be aware…don’t hire this company without getting a written estimate first and be aware that there are additional fees above an hourly rate.

I recently had a paver patio, fire pit, and a pool installed by Aspenwood and everything turned out absolutely wonderful! The quality of work was exceptional and I could tell that the crew members actually cared about the work they were doing. I will definitely be hiring them again next year to redo the landscaping in our front yard.

Very pleasant to deal with super fast response time. From getting here to answering my phone calls when I have any questions! The quality of work is perfect couldn't ask for a better faster landscape company. Josiah is great to work with and his crew are true professionals in there trade.

I took time off work to meet with them, booking with them over a week in advance, and they failed to show up and didn't call. "If the courtship is bad, the marriage is worse." If they can't be bothered to show up on time (or at all) for the initial scope and quote, I don't expect them to be any more diligent when it comes to performing the job itself. Time to move onto the next.
