I hired Black Bear Tree Care to remove two large dead birch trees and to prune a large ash tree on my property and they did an excellent job! From the time they came out to provide an estimate to the completion of the tree service they were professional, thorough, and safe. I would absolutely hire them again and will be recommending them to my family and friends in the Colorado Springs area.

They did such a great job removing our large, dead cottonwood tree from our backyard. So grateful for this team to come so quickly and remove it safely as this tree was in a tricky spot close to our home. They clearly know what they are doing and cleaned up everything well. Highly recommend!

Ryan and his team have come out twice this summer to do fire mitigation on our 5 acres in Black Forest. Super team! We are very please with all the clearing they have done to make our forest look like a park! They will be coming one more day in October...we have a lot of 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲 !!!!

I was very pleased with the work provided by Black Bear Tree Care. Ryan and his crew were trying hard to make up time because it had snowed very hard the week of my appointment, and they just could not cut anything with all the snow. The crew showed up on a Saturday to take care of the project and I was very happy that they were wanting to complete the cutting for me. They cut down the trees and removed all the tree parts and branches and then raked all the small debris. They were quick and efficient. They are also very reasonable on their rates. I could not be happier with their service!

Ryan and his team did an excellent job pruning surrounding trees and removing dead limbs from my huge silver maple tree. They protected my garden and house from limbs that were removed, and did a nice job cleaning up. Joel the climber and pruner was meticulous in limb removal, unlike other tree hacks who think they know how to prune and trim trees but don’t. It was a pleasure working with them.

Crew arrived ahead of time, very professional, friendly, and did superb work. Left my backyard cleaner than it was before. Discovered some additional dead branches and took those down as well. Highly recommend! Star Rating ends at 5 even those gentlemen deserve a better rating than that. Military Discount got also applied.

Outstanding service from my first call to the fall of our 50ft ponderosa. This large tree was very close my deck, house, and hot tub. They were very professional and made a very complex job look easy. I'm very happy with their service and will use them again. The crew at Black Bear Tree Care are phenomenal. They took down 4 diseased Spruce trees that were leaning dangerously close to power lines. Timely response and estimate from Ryan, his crew showed up at the appointed time and a fair price for the work they did. Highly recommend them and would use their services again if needed.

The 5.0 rating on Google is clearly warranted! The team showed up on time for both the estimate and appointment, worked quickly and professionally, and overall did a fantastic job. For me they removed a tree that was much too big for my small yard and trimmed two other trees. All debris was removed and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Great service all around. Cut down our 60 ft Cottonwood that was causing alot of issues of 3 of our neighbors. Had to take down 2 sections of fence to grind the stump. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

We selected Black Bear Tree Care to service our Blue Spruce and several Silver Maples after getting quotes from three other companies. Black Bear was reasonably priced, but more importantly, we wanted an arborist—someone who understood what the trees needed to be healthy, rather than “yahoos” who just liked to climb trees and play with chainsaws. Black Bear was the most knowledgeable of the companies we contacted, always willing to answer our questions, and gave thorough, satisfying responses. They were also kind to our toddler and cleaned up all the branches, leaving the property looking much better than before. We plan to use Ryan and the guys from Black Bear again in the future.

Black Bear was quick to respond to my call. Their work was safe and professional. They treated me with respect. And, their price was very fair. Ryan is my new first call.

When Ryan gave us an estimate on our large maple tree, I was impressed by his knowledge and care. He explained exactly what he would do to make our tree look nice, without accidentally taking too much off and killing it. When the crew came out to trim the tree, Ryan also came! The ~5 person crew was so efficient, each person had a job. They did a ton of work in just under an hour! They cleaned up everything well. I feel so happy, like my favorite tree just got the best hair cut of its life!

Ryan and his crew did a fantastic job removing a huge Elm tree. They were very professional and cut and lowered each branch with precision. The area was raked clean and left it in pristine condition. Very professional, fast cutting tree guys. We even quoted to do our stump too**. Ryan, Noah, Chris and Kyle were the guys that helped us today. Our tree was hanging over the house, (extremely heavy, old tree) and they got it down in less than half a day.
I have to thank the guys at Black Bear Tree Care for being awesome at their job and customer service too! We chatted while they took a few short breaks.
