Blue Sky Fire Mitigation recently completed work on our 1.25-acre property in the foothills between Morrison and Conifer. They were prompt, professional and complete in all aspects of their work. Billy and his crew were a pleasure to work with, and they regularly checked in with me about their progress. They removed a large amount of scrub oak and not only took all the slash away they also raked up and removed the leaves from many seasons.

Though they were unable to use their gas-powered wench to remove a large juniper, they did not charge me extra for having to cut out the roots with hand tools. They stood by their estimate.

I would gladly hire them again.

Highly recommended! Great company to work with! Professional, timely and they have a in-depth understanding of what is needed to protect your house AND satisfy insurance mitigation requests. Our property is in Conifer, CO and it is extremely difficult to find and keep home owners insurance. We were issued a notice that Allstate was cancelling our policy within 60 days due to fire risk. At this point, I assumed we would need to find yet another insurance company as the mitigation in my mind would be very expensive and time consuming. I decided I would at least get some quotes for the work. I did some research and found Blue Sky Fire Mitigation which is a local company based in Conifer. They came out quickly and did a survey of the property and we had an in-depth conversation regarding what was needed and what should satisfy Allstate (no guarantees of course). Within a day or so they came back with a very reasonable quote to perform the recommended mitigation. I also had them take out several large trees that we have been wanting removed for some time, but expected the cost to be very high which again they did it for a very reasonable cost. Given the time sensitive nature of this work, they were able to work us into their schedule and completed the job within the next week. They also took all the pictures and emailed Allstate on our behalf. Within a few days Allstate informed us that they would reinstate/continue our coverage for the original term. It was a pleasure to work with Blue Sky Fire Mitigation and I am planning on having them back next year just to maintain the property.

It was a pleasure to deal with Blue Sky. They showed up when promised, and did a great job of safely removing two very large dead trees that were very close to our house. They expertly dropped the trees away from our house, and then completely removed the trees from our property. I mean, there wasn’t even a twig remaining! Their prices are very fair also. We will definitely use them again.

I’ve done tree work myself for decades and have never seen anyone clean up a job site as well as they do. They are my “go-to” tree company in Evergreen for tree removal.
