Every time I go into will call, I have to wait 15-20 minutes for help. Then, it takes 10 minutes for them to grab my order. Also, you have to place a will call 2 hours before you go to QED, or they won't have it ready.

Very inconsiderate. They're blocking Third Avenue instead of offloading their truck on the street. They tie up the entire street, delaying everyone and not caring

Quick and accurate. The guy at the will call counter got everything i needed quickly.

Got told I was able to get a discount because of being a loyalty member and I didn’t actually get any discount on tools and was lied to, I should have just trusted amazon and bought tools online much cheaper than here and no lies given either

Well QED used to be our go-to, however lately service has been horrible. Had an appointment set up with Krist for light package we ordered from him and he was very hard to deal with. All he was there for was to place an order, absolutely no effort with help when needed.

I have delt with QED since they started business in Denver.
They have always been my go to for Commercial and Industrial electrical Parts and lighting. But they totally blew it on the last lighting order. Ordered some Acuity Brand CPX Flat Panel LED lights, what a piece of POO, Lights would not shut off, These lights work off the Cloud, I think must be storm clouds, I called Tech support, they thought it was miss programmed Drivers, OK. Then they wanted me to pull 2 lights out, one light had a bad row of LED, then take them back to QED so they could be sent to factory for evaluation. They did determine Drivers not programmed properly, sent me 11 new Drivers, and 2 new lights to replace the 2 sent in, these lights are in a painted BLACK T Grid ceiling, it took extra time to be careful not to damage ceiling tiles.
I did talk to Caine he said he would keep me updated on charges for lights . Never heard from him again. They did send me another invoice for 1 of the lights , I never paid invoice
I sent them an invoice for Driver replacement, removal of lights, reinstallation of lights and delivery to QED, They have gone silent, no news no nothing.

Worked several hours with a contract for this man. Upon time to pay, after we asked, he comes up with the bogus claim that we did unscrupulous work. We ran electrical service wire through 2 1/2" notch in ceiling joists, then added extra security by installing metal nail plates with additional 2x6. Anyone can look this up on Colorado codes and see. He currently is remodeling his home. Also the Thursday Before he came to the job and said he was pleased with us and our work. Two days later, this. I would not recommend this company for hire nor employment. Too dishonest sorry to say because I did like him until this. Thanks for waiting until the entire 3 story house was nearly completed before screwing us right before Christmas when you knew we had plans to go visit family. But you are correct when you said it wasn't your problem we don't have the funds to travel. After I went ahead and filed an insurance claim just so that if they wanted to add more joists it would be covered. Sent proof to all parties..... Today marks 123 days past due on our pay. Insurance company provided proof that we did NOT make any cuts under electrical code. Colorado Dept of labor has finished review, this guy WILL be sued by them.

Good prices, communicative, efficient, clean, prompt, fair and honest. MJB services (Mike and his partner, Bobby) did an amazing and expansive amount of electrical work on our older 5000+sqft home. They retro-fit installed many switches, outlets, in-ceiling speakers, ceiling fans, and recessed lighting. They did an excellent job minimizing drywall work. They also added power and low-voltage to a brick fireplace for a seamless fireplace-mounted TV. This work spanned nearly 6 full-time days. The job was billed as time+materials. The price was extremely competitive. Their up-front time/cost estimate was extremely accurate. Their time accounting for the project was extremely fair and honest. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I look forward to using MJB for future work on our property. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with them.
