FYI Jim doesn't do agreements just estimates. He Started a total remodel of 2600 sf overhauled 100amp panel to 200 in October 2015! Took us 5 months to get started but we were warned up front Jim was that far out & busy. We passed the rough in then I saw Jim one more time in 2016 & we got 3 outlets & 1 switch! Yay! BUT

Haven't seen or heard from Jim since! We've texted called & emailed EVERYTHING has gone unanswered! Some girl answered his emails once then emailed me back to say she quit! Very fishy, maybe Jims website has been hacked. Maybe Jim is dead. We just don't know!

We just can't continue to wait on Jim to finish the House & call the building dept for final inspection. We don't know how good Jim is because we haven't passed final. Our concern is Jim might have known it might not pass so he just disappeared! With no agreement in place there's nothing but a verbal agreement. So he's been paid $6,800 & didn't finish the job! We liked Jim personally & just hope he's ok alive & his family is good!

My advice: buyer beware! GET AN AGREEMENT IN WRITING OR DONT HIRE!

I called JK Electric for a wiring issue at my home, and they were amazing from start to finish. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem fast. Honest, reliable, and affordable definitely my go-to electricians from now on!

Center Electric has provided superb service and technical knowledge during the eight years we've lived in our home. Their master electricians are skilled, courteous and extreme in their professional performance. We've never had the level of expertise and workmanship Center provides until we first encountered this company.

These guys are the best. Tom and everyone who works for him is so professional, positive and experienced. They rewired a renovation for us, installed some new lights and fixed other ones that weren't working when we moved into our new place (a downtown loft). They were quick, went out of their way to fit me into their schedule when a fixture was delivered late, and everything is done beautifully. And the price is fair!

Think twice before hiring this company. They came in to install two chandeliers in our home. They had to bring in scaffolding and while Tom was on the scaffolding it fell against our wall and as a result we had three holes in the wall, our tv was damaged as well as the tv stand and the floor lamp was broken. Tom was really nice about it all and apologized. He called his insurance company right away and they contacted us the next day. Then everything stopped. It took over a month for Tom to contact the claims adjuster and verify what at transpired. We finally did settle but it was very stressful. Then just last week I received the invoice for installation of the chandeliers. He charged us $285 each for the two helpers he brought with him. All they did was put the chandeliers together and put up the scaffolding and then they swept up. Although to be honest I did most of the cleaning up. I called and left a voicemail for Tom wanting to know if those two gentlemen were certified electricians. I'm still waiting for a return call. I paid the invoice but I'm furious that I even hired them in the first place.

So, this rating is an average, I don't know how else to capture the experience. We had Center Electric out a few years ago to fix an outlet, add an outdoor outlet, and install a fan in a vaulted ceiling. They did an incredible job at a very fair price. On that basis, I'd happily give them five stars.

Fast forward to 2023, I had them come out to provide an estimate to install a 240V line for a new induction stove that we want to order. They came out in early September, and said they needed to put together a quote and send it to me. By early November, hadn't heard anything, so I called up, and was told that they would put the quote in the mail. By early December, still hadn't received it, called one more time, left a voicemail, which was never returned. Who knows, maybe a single circuit is too small a project these days? Or maybe something else is going on, I just figured that they'd tell me if they couldn't do the work.

So I'm giving them three stars - if you can get a quote from them, I think you'll find it fair. I'm just not sure I'd expect to receive one.
