Francisco is an amazing contractor. I engaged his services twice : once to do my backyard landscaping and the other time to extend my deck for my walkout basement. He gives great ideas and works with your creativity. Gives reasonable pricing. Work is very professional. We love our back yard. He did lawn, concrete, pavers, kids play area and fire pit. He extended our deck that has Mountain Views. His crew is also very skillful and professional and detailed. I can recommend them to anyone anytime. He is a ROCK STAR!!!!

Five Star Construction is one of the most professional companies we have ever worked with. They believe in doing things right the first time. They also exhibited great communication and execution of agreed upon timelines. They only promise things that are an actual representation of reality. If they tell you “No” it’s based on facts & their past experiences that in the long run will save everyone time and money ! It’s been a great experience all the way around !!

After I had already spoken to several contractors, I called Francisco Garcia with Five Star Construction. He came out, listened to my now polished description of my landscape woes. I basically told him that other than a much larger patio, fire pit and some trees, I didn’t have any idea what I wanted it to look like, just “not this”. He didn’t take any notes while we were talking. The very next day he emailed a complete illustrated landscape design plan to me. In this initial plan Francisco actually addressed every single issue I had mentioned. His design was much better than I could even envision. The illustration was high enough quality that I used it for my submission to the HOA design review committee.
Francisco’s plan came with an itemized pricing of every element of the plan, options and prices for different levels of concrete finish, and a list of plants and trees that would be placed. I requested a few revisions to the plants he suggested to suit my personal taste, and he came back in a day with an updated landscape plan. His crew showed up early on a Monday and got to work with the demo. I have to say I have never seen such a hard-working crew. The entire job they were working between 10 and 13 hours each day, and I could tell by the banter that they all got along very well. They jackhammered my old concrete path, removed the existing paver patio, pulled out large railroad timbers, moved river rock and removed all the previous landscape elements. Then they poured a massive stepped down concrete patio, built a fire pit and a seat wall with lighting, planted trees, plants and sod, and they completed all of that in about 2.5 - 3 weeks’ time. Multiple times while the project was in progress, Francisco personally called me to check if I had any concerns or questions for him. The transformation is night and day – what was an eyesore that I really hated is now a beautiful space that I am happy to have friends over to enjoy it with me. I can’t say enough good things about Francisco and his crew at Five Star Construction.
