About the business:

When Tony and Mary Fagnant gave us the boost we needed to get Blue Star Recyclers off the ground in the Fall of 2009, we had one straightforward goal: do something "special" for our community. Sure, there were already places to recycle electronics and programs for people with disabilities, but we saw a unique opportunity to marry the two. We envisioned creating meaningful and competitive jobs for people with disabilities through ethical electronics recycling. Fast forward fifteen years, and we’ve been hustling to make that dream a reality, pushing the needle on employment and sustainable practices in the process.
