Kara got us an estimate quickly and put us in their flexible scheduling calendar. The work crew, Alex and Dan called ahead, arrived on time and had our dead trees (one was nearly 60’ tall) felled safely within 90 minutes. The price was as quoted - friendly professionals from start to finish!

Splintered Forest did our Jeffco Defendable Space Permit. They were a pleasure to work for. They were able to come out the next day and had competitive pricing. Josh was great! He was very informative and friendly, and you could tell he cared about the trees and land. He actively worked out a solution that would let us keep the nicer trees while thinning out the more sickly or nearing-end-of-life trees. We would highly recommend them.

Splintered Forest Tree Service did an excellent job of removing five pine trees and bushes from around my mountain cabin for fire mitigation. Because of the treacherous incline, they used a crane and lifted the entire tree around my house and into the mulching truck. Very careful and great at leaving area clean and undisturbed. Professional and reasonably priced. Their work is amazing. Now I feel so much safer and relieved to have provided protection for my property.

The crew knows what they're doing. My 80' dead tree was in between my house and my shop. They felled the tree with precision and cut into fireplace size pieces (extra) in about an hour. Great service, would highly recommend!

I contacted Splintered forest for fire mitigation services needed for a building permit. After the assessment they provided a quote for the services. The quote was fair for the amount of work to be done. They have a very efficient crew that safely removed all the trees as needed and trimmed those that remained. Great communication from the office. Phenomenal service! Could not be more impressed with the expertise and professionalism of the 3-man crew. They used the grappler saw on a boom truck to take out 2 trees that were leaning over the house. All completely gone in 2 hours, down to the stumps and nothing but some sawdust left behind. HIGHLY recommend!

Splintered Forest recently helped us prepare our site for a new construction project. Their crew scheduler arranged for me to meet with one of their staff to confirm the scope of tree removal right away. That same day I received their quote which was very reasonable. And they were able to schedule the work for the following day. The tree removal crew members were just great. Very friendly, professional and took great pride in their work. Not deterred by the cold and snow they felled, logged and limbed the designated trees in a very efficient manner taking advantage of the excellent equipment made available to them. Completion of the work (chipping and log removal) happened a couple of days later, and when I asked them to increase their scope to include several smaller trees which I had felled, they again came back with a very reasonably priced quote. They completed the entire expanded project that day. I can’t say enough good things about this company and will recommend them at every opportunity.

We needed to perform fire mitigation to secure insurance, and they were able to make it out to the property within the very short window the insurance company gave us to comply.

When pine beetles were discovered in a stand of trees on the property, they came out quickly to inspect, then attempted to stop the spread to the rest of the trees.

They will be the company I contact for any future issues.

My mom was worried about pine beetles on neighboring properties invading hers and causing lots of property value loss. She was getting all sorts of advice on what the right way to combat them was and how much it was all going to cost. Splintered Forest came out to take a look and reassured her that for her property and trees, what she was already doing (spraying for spruce bud moth around the house) was fine. They stood to make a ton of money but they gave us the truth and saved us a lot of anxiety.
