They already have us on their schedule for a winter trim of our fruit trees.

I contacted Northern Colorado Tree Service through their web form and Aaron contacted me immediately to schedule a consultation. We purchased our home in November and had a very large cottonwood tree and a pine tree in the backyard that were towering over our house and were in need of attention. During the consultation, Aaron worked with us to determine the best options for our needs, at a price that was manageable for us. We decided to have both trees removed and we were able to schedule the job to be completed the same week. Aaron and his crew were professional, prompt, and hardworking. They completed the job to our expectations and did an exceptional job protecting our yard and cleaning up afterwards. They even tidied up a tree in the front yard for us! I highly recommend Northern Colorado Tree Service and would definitely use them again in the future.

Great company to work with. Had to do an emergency tree removal - our Aspens came down in the storms and luckily got caught by a neighbor's spruce, but they were at risk of taking down our fence.

The owner came out, gave me a quote that was reasonable and then immediately got to work. His crew showed up a few minutes later an the handled the job quickly and professionally. They had all three aspens removed and cleaned up within an hour.

Northern Colorado Tree Service trimmed up two large maples and two junipers on our property. Our primary goal was to have dead limbs removed and to trim up and away from our roof, they also did some weight reduction to help reduce risk of failures. We worked with Jeremiah for our estimate and he was the one out on site to perform work with the team as well. I appreciated that they worked quickly, safely and were respectful of our property. The team was friendly and overall easy to work with. Their pricing was competitive, but we also preferred the approach Jeremiah described, his frank advice and I always do appreciate when someone is honest and says “you COULD do that, but if it were my house, this is what I would do”. The consultation felt genuine, not like a sales pitch. We’ll be happy to work with Northern Colorado Tree Service for our future needs, and would confidently refer them to friends and family.

Northern Colorado Tree Service removed a tree for us in Red Feather Lakes and did an outstanding job! They were very professional, took care to protect the cabin and completely cleaned up all the debris and sawdust. They even cut the trunk into firewood length and stacked it for us. I will use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Great Company run by two amazing human beings! James and Jackie are two very smart and awesome people and I’m happy that I chose them for my tree service needs!

James was able to come and provide his advice and expertise regarding a large tree removal in our back yard. Although the timing did not work out, I really appreciate his taking the time to communicate with me about possible replacements in the fall. Thanks so much!

I contacted Colorado Tree Service when one of our aspens started leaning dangerously during a windstorm. Jackie responded quickly via text and reviewed photos before scheduling a convenient appointment. James came out, assessed the situation, and we agreed removal was the best option since bracing it to our deck wasn’t ideal. He completed the job quickly and carefully, even working around our fence. I asked if he could leave some firewood for our fire pit, and he happily did so at no extra charge. Great service from start to finish!

It’s always sad to lose a tree; but once one is dead, it needs to come down before the next severe wind storm. We are beyond pleased with the prompt and professional service we received from Northern Colorado Tree Service. They made quick work of an moderately-sized oak tree in a rather tight location, and even quicker work of grinding the stump the following day. Their crew was efficient, their pricing was fair, and should the need arise, I would certainly use them again. I recommend them without hesitation.

Northern CO Tree Service far surpassed our expectations with their incredible work. After taking down a very large and beloved but diseased old blue spruce close to our house, they cut the trunk into usable sections so that we can make benches, and even hauled them to the area of the yard where we need to work on them. All this while taking great care not to damage our house, landscaping, or even the lawn! Other than the tree being transformed into big logs in our work area, it was hard to tell they had been here. Hats off to Zachariah and crew!!
In addition, they did a polished job of trimming other trees, and treated our ash trees for ash borer as safely as possible. As a person with pesticide sensitivity, I especially appreciated James' concern and respect for my health, plus the health of his crew and the ecosystem in general! It is reassuring to know that he will not recommend unneeded treatments, as is quite common with other companies.
We can't imagine being any happier with the service we received! They have our highest recommendation!!

James and his crew are absolute beasts. I called NOCO for an estimate and got one within three days. Other companies took up to 10 days just for a visit to my property. The work was scheduled on their calendar for two weeks after proposal during a very busy time of year for tree work. Highly recommended.....

This is a very good company! These guys had a nightmare of a project dealing with very huge, old and unhealthy elm trees that were out of control and dangerous! They came in with a great crew and tackled the job very professionally and efficiently. I thought the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Northern Colorado Tree Service did an amazing job pruning a large elm in my yard that had a large dead branch and many more too close to the house! They were super efficient, easy to talk to about an concerns and left all the mulch for me to use for landscaping! Thanks a bunch!

Northern Colorado Tree Service did an exceptional job! My husband and I were impressed by their great customer service (always quick to respond when I called or texted), they met all our needs, were clean and professional. They went above and beyond our initial expectations(we had a family emergency and had to cancel and reschedule last minute, they were understanding and worked with our schedule)! We will definitely use them for future needs and on our properties for tree and stump removal.

Our cat has been missing for 4 days, and when searching on foot last night, we found he'd gotten stuck about 50 feet high in a seemingly unscaleable tree. We contacted SEVERAL arborists in the area; not only was Northern Colorado Tree service the only one to respond, but they responded promptly and came to his rescue within an hour. James, the owner, is a very kind and talented climber and was able to scale the tree with ease, rescuing our sweet boy within half of an hour. We are SO grateful, and highly recommend their services!

Recently worked with Northern Colorado Tree Service to have a massive cottonwood tree removed and you can't even tell it was there! I can't recommend them enough! The owner, James, is veey experienced and I felt I received really good value for the professional service provided. The team was great, making the process of removing a large cottonwood tree seamless. Additionally, the office was incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable answering all my questions. If you need tree services in Northern Colorado, look no further than these dudes; it couldn't have gone better.

We could not be happier than we are with NCTS. Jackie and James were responsive, professional and we were legitimately stunned with the efficiency their crew removed our 25+ year old cottonwood hybrid.

Though they can't take credit for the ease of access to our tree, they used it and well. Not only did they remove the tree quickly and efficiently, they managed to do so without trampling/crushing the white spruce sapling only a few feet from the trunk.

They shredded the majority of the tree with the industrial chipper, hauling only the largest pieces of the trunk, they also removed a brush/yardwaste pile and put it through the chipper without being asked.

All told they were in our yard approximately 4 hours, leaving only tracks in the lawn from the stump grinder which will be gone within a few weeks once the spring weather hits.

Highly recommend these folks for all of your arborism needs.

Great service and LOCAL! Very informative and they are upfront and honest. Which is everything you want. We had a large Elm tree and Cottonwood tree removed and had a few other trees trimmed up about 2 yrs ago. Last year we had a few limbs break during a snowstorm in 2021. They did such a great job we called them out again. I can’t say enough, I highly recommend them.

James and his crew did a safe and fantastic job removing our big, deadish cottonwood during some of the coldest days this winter. My kids loved watching them work and got to be late for school. NCTS was quick, cleaned up and didn't waste any time. We will have them treat some ash trees in the Spring. Very easy to work with NCTS.

Had our trees trimmed and another removed today. What a treat to watch James and his crew. It is very impressive to see the way they safely climb the trees to get to the branches that need to be cleared away. They left the yard more neatly groomed than when they started. Highly recommend them!!
