Matt took care of some tree work as well as some drywall repair for us. We’re very happy with his work and will be asking him to come back for other projects in the future. Highly recommended!

Jobs done! Great working with Columbus tree & handyman! Very efficient and does what he says he will do. Doesn’t give unrealistic timelines, he said the jobs we had would take him a couple of days and he finished them within 2 days, which is rare! He replaced old windows and replaced siding on our house and a couple of other small jobs. Very pleased with his work and have asked him to do more work for us. Highly recommended!

Matt has so many skills and is great to work with! He did painting, window lock repair, rehung two doors, replaced screens, fixed woodwork, rebuilt a fence, and re-installed a window that was broken. He can do everything!

Matt has been absolutely fantastic. I have thrown all sorts of things his way: window latches, gate latches, a hole in the hardwood floor, broken cabinet door, fading paint, drywall cracks, holes in the wall, garage door issues, etc. On tap in the future he will be helping fix my deck. He has done them all extremely well. Very high quality work. I often challenge myself to find where the initial issue was after Matt's work.

He is always on time, gets to the job as quickly as possible, communicates far better than other professionals I've used, and does all of this at a great price.

Outstanding service and pricing. We called about our roof needing patching from hail damage and be came out the next morning. He not only educated us on what we should and shouldn’t use on the roof to fix, he also sent pictures of when he finished the work.

Matt did an excellent repairing my door and screen locks. These locks needed some attention to details, They all work great now. He also adjusted my patio gates and added a handle. It is hard to find a handyman who will do these small, but necessary jobs. I was very happy with his work.

Matt was incredibly prompt with coming over for the estimate and completed my tree trimming just a few days later. He did a great job bringing the tree away from my house! Also, would not have even known he was here except for the missing branches, very tidy! Highly recommend.

We went over a list of things that needed done and I received a quote for each of them. Matt was great with doing the two most needed items. He trimmed my tree and took the branches with him. Everything looks great. He also worked on a carpentry item inside the house.

Matt is awesome! He replaced our windows, and back door. He was very friendly, cleaned up after himself, and since then has come to repair various things around the fourplex and even cleaned our gutters! I highly recommend Matt for all of you handyman needs!

I hired Columbus Tree to put in grab bars in my bathtub and a railing outside my front door. Matt assessed my home because my mobility and balance is eroding.
He is knowledgeable and professional. He pointed out some things that I was unaware of. A portion of my floor was not laid properly creating a trip hazard. Matt fixed that with no charge!
I needed a piece of trim in my kitchen and Matt looked at the hallway where the previous owner had patched the sheetrock and Matt offered to spray the walls with a texture paint. Once again, he didn’t charge me, even for the can of texture.
The rail should be in this week and he didn’t order anything until you see it and give it your okay.
You get a lined estimate from Columbus Tree before he starts work and that is carried out as efficiently as possible.
I’m going to use Columbus Tree again and wholly recommend them. They are professionally empathetic and their charge is reasonable.

Matt was contracted to do a texture job on the walls of one of our bathrooms. Although he wasn't familiar with the texture already on the walls he was able to give us one that we are very happy with. He was prompt and stayed with his quote even though he had to do a little extra work. If you are in need of a handyman I suggest you give Matt a call.

Matt’s work was phenomenal with careful attention to detail. He went above and beyond and also fine-tuned some last minute tweaks in our bathrooms in preparation for Christmas guests. Would definitely recommend, and will continue contracting for small repairs and future renovation projects.

Matt was very professional and accommodating. He explained everything to me about the issue I was having and also was happy to look at a few other issues around the house. I especially appreciated his willingness to text which is so much easier for me.

I've had historic renovations done on two 100 year old homes so I'm picky about craftsmanship. Matt did a renovation on a 30 yo condo that included adding soffits with task lighting for counters and indirect lighting above the soffit to highlight the vaulted ceiling. Plus he added pullout custom shelving in the pantry. He understood what I was looking for and delivered beautiful work. He also managed other workers doing painting etc firmly but with respect. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Matt was awesome to work with! He knocked out a new interior door install, siding replacement/painting, and some tree work for me. I wasn’t able to be around when he did the tree work, but he checked in with me and even came back to make some changes when requested for free. Great communication, quality work, and reasonable prices. I plan to use him again to paint the exterior of my house and for anything else that pops up in the never ending land of home ownership. I’d recommend him to anyone!
