Sandbox Solar installed a 2nd PV array for us -- big increase in total system size -- as well as a 10 kWh battery to go with it. In addition to accommodating a change order we had to make partway through the process, they combined the existing array with the new one via an up-to-date combiner system, and configured everything to meet our unusual needs for the system's first weeks of operation. The whole team, from office to installation, was really helpful and the installers went the extra mile in cold conditions to get us up and operating. I would definitely hire Sandbox Solar again, and happily recommend them.

Sandbox Solar installed three Tesla Power Banks at my house courtesy to a novel program from Poudre Valley REA. They store power for peak demand in the neighborhood and, as an additional perk for hosting them at my house, act as a power backup for my house in case power is lost in the neighborhood. Sandbox was awesome and kept me informed every step of the way!

Clay’s solar crew and Greg’s HVAC crew at Sandbox Solar were fantastic. They were respectful, professional, and worked really hard. You could tell they were proud of their work, and it shows in the final result. I didn’t expect to be this happy about getting solar and a heat pump, but they made it a great experience. Highly recommend.

The sandbox solar crew (clay, ben, bailee and brodie) did a great job on my solar removal and reinstall when I needed a new roof. They were delayed from the scheduled arrival time both for removal and reinstall, but each time provided updates so we weren't left wondering what was going on. Communication and progress updates during the job were also excellent. Sandbox did the original install about 5 years ago and stood behind their work when we had a major malfunction 2 years later. Easy to recommend a reputable local company who does good work at reasonable price.

The team that came out today from sandbox solar was so professional, they were very kind they answered all of my questions. When the job was done they cleaned up the work area. I was very impressed with their concern about answering all of my questions.
They were able to do this portion of the install in one day. Big Thank You to Bailee, Liam, Eric, Clay, and Cal.

My array was installed by another installer in 2021. One panel was underperforming the ones next to it, all four facing South, which made no sense to me. Contacted the company I purchased the system from as well as the manufacturer and neither one could come up with a solution. Five minutes after Sandbox Service arrived they correctly diagnosed and resolved the issue. Very pleased with their sales and service groups. Highly recommend them.

I was doing my own research on solar and found Sandbox Solar, though it took me a couple of years to make it work, I chose them. No pushy marketing or bashing the competition, just good information for the sale. When installation time came around the crews were professional, safe, thorough, and did a great job! Full marks for the sales and installation/electrical teams.

I had a pretty positive experience getting 13 panels (5.2kW) installed by Sandbox. The process from getting a quote, adjusting the layout based on pictures of my roof, and getting an honest opinion about the best value for me (not the most money for them) was smooth and much easier than I expected. Charles and his team installing the panels were professional and did quality work. I've had them for about 2 years with no issues yet; and they've endured some extreme winds that the siding panels on my house have not. I was estimated to produce about 2/3 of my power from solar, and with TOU rates from Xcel, have so far generated 100% of my cost (although this is likely to go down a bit now that the peak rate hours are 5-9pm instead of 3-7.)

The only hiccup in the process was that there was a miscommunication between the on-site visit and the installation. The installers were not prepared for the height of my roof and did not have the appropriate ladders/lift. Because at the time it was more than a month to get on the schedule, I opted to have them carry the panels through the stairs inside to access the roof. Not a big deal, and the workers were careful and repaired the one ding in the drywall they did make.
