Trevor, Nathan and the gang did an amazing job on a very complex commercial kitchen. They were one of my favorite contractors on this job and I'll for sure be using them again.

I was in a financially difficult place and very concerned about an electrical situation. They came out and found the problem (which turned out to be smaller than we thought) and did not charge me for their time. Because of this act of kindness, I will always recommend them.

We used Southpaw Electric for a commercial business lighting installation. Wonderful communication with the project lead and the crew was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Garbage company! It took around week to week and a half for someone to just come out and see what the job was. I was promised to have a quote on the following Monday, Tuesday at the latest, the walk through was on the prior Friday. After 2 emails on Wednesday and Thursday, no word on Monday or Tuesday, I finally received a response saying he hadn't got to working on the quote yet. So it is now 10 days after the walk through and no word from the company. Not sure how companies still can survive in an economy where they can just pass up work.

Southpaw Electric worked on our house as an electrical subcontractor to the GC. Nathan and his crew were extremely friendly and professional from top to bottom. If anything needed to be addressed during the process, they had a crew over almost immediately to solve the problem.

Im a pretty handy guy.. had an electrical issue that caused multiple outlets, switches and ceiling fan to short out.. I couldn't figure out the problem and was skeptical that it would likely take all day and a high price tag to get an electrician out to resolve my (electrical) issues. Nate showed up.. within 45 minutes the whole issue was resolved.. Nate was extremely competent, was more than fair with me on his service charge (much less than I had anticipated) and he was focused on getting everything working as quickly as possible. Nate will be my go to electrician for any electrical problems that this old house brings my way. THANK YOU NATE!

I received bids from 4 local electricians before I chose South Paw. They were the most reasonably priced, they were willing to work with my designs without saying that they had to bring it back to their designer to rework, they completed the work in a timely manner, their crew was friendly, they were tidy workers, and they did a great job. I have referred them to friends and clients of mine and will continue to do so in the future.

Disappointed w/ the level of communication specific to the work (most of the work was charged as discovery of the problem) and after fixing one problem they has to come back the next day and fix another problem that previously did not exist; but was charged for both days. Fixed one buried junction box and replaced one dimmer switch for $1,655 and then was told by owner that this was a reasonable amount. Disappointed.

Highly recommend SouthPaw!! They were incredible to work with from start to finish. Sierra is a pleasure to schedule and book the job; Nathan was the best electrician by far - that we met with, and he has now completed two jobs for us. Nathan's expertise was also invaluable in dealing with our HOA and drilling into our concrete ceiling. They are extremely competent, thorough, respectful, have fair pricing, and the crew (Dillon and Riley) were a pleasure to be around. The first job they did for us was to run some cables/wiring through the walls and ceiling for our home office and entertainment area; and the second was to install track lighting and install dimmer switches. They are fast and did a great job of cleaning up as well! We would not hesitate to use them again, and frankly could not recommend them more!

Excellent electricians and excellent customer service. My basement electrical was a mess from a previous electrician. Southpaw did an amazing job fixing all the botched work from the previous guy. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time and knocked it out quicker than expected. Their pricing was also better than other electricians who quoted the job. When I had some invoicing questions, Peter called me personally to help sort it all out. Highly recommended!

Invoice was 2 times what was quoted for a very simple job.

We needed two entry lights replaced and only needed help because we didn't have a ladder tall enough to reach the 18 foot ceiling. We were quoted $140 for time and $35 for ladder rental.
A journeyman (did the work) and apprentice (watched) were at our house for 45 minutes, so imagine our surprise when we were billed $335 - or 2.5 hours of time plus $47.50 ladder rental. Evidently, without telling us, we were billed for them to go from shop to Home Depot to our house to Home Depot to their shop (A trip that Google Maps says takes 48 minutes in total) and spend another hour doing who knows what.

My husband spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining to Trevor exactly what was needed, the size and weight of the fixtures we had, and the space they were being put into, so that we could get a valid quote before they came to our house.

The workers were nice and polite and did what was asked of them - that's why I'm giving them two stars.

Update:Found out that the Erie based company that I hired because they are 5 minutes from my house rolled a crew from Boulder and that the customer evidently gets charged from wherever the crew happens to be. I guess to make more money, they should start dispatching from Cheyenne. At this point, I would give them 0 stars, but will leave it at two because I want my review to be taken seriously.

Finally: Beware the 5 star review from Sierra Lewis - she works for the company.

South Paw Electric runs a great company! I have had them to our house several times and always been very happy with both my electrician and the job done. They were patient with me and my "ideas" and ultimately did exactly what I asked for. Best of all, they didn't leave a mess behind them as other companies have done in the past. Trevor, the owner was very professional to deal with. I highly recommend South Paw Electric!
