I had a great experience working with Mac Electric in January 2025. They installed my new Ford level 2 charger for my electric van. They drove far, in a snow storm, and working diligently throughout the day to install it (despite some placement complications they had to work around as well as snow falling outside). They were kind and courteous and walked me through my options and their plan. They also handled the city permit for the project. I would definitely work with them again!

When you reach out to an electrician, you are frequently nervous about how things will go. This company was proposed by Ford for a vehicle charger installation. Frankly, I was leery about having someone else select a contractor for me.
Sharolyn was very courteous and very happy to explain the process to me. When I offered more technical questions she connected me with the project manager and he told me it would most likely go very smoothly.
The estimation process happened remotely. The bid was just $250 to cover the permit charge (because Ford was paying for the charger and the installation). The at-home visit to confirm there would be no hitches went quickly.
Steven and Zack showed up, surveyed the job, and got moving. We all agreed about how the job would proceed and what the end result would be.
And that's what I got. A fairly direct route from the panel to the garage and to the charger, all in nice, straight, perpendicular runs of conduit. It looks fantastic!
Keep in mind that the price I paid was a special arrangement. Without such a deal, it would have cost quite a bit more, I suspect.

We’re on the middle of a pandemic and their employees can’t be bothered to wear a mask in public places. I know I wouldn’t want them at my house.
