Electrical reviews in Kittredge, Colorado

During this last wind storm we had, our power line in the back of our property was taken out by trees. In order for Core to reconnect our power we first had to have the mast and the electrical on our roof repaired. We called The Speedy Electricians of Evergreen first and they quoted us a ridiculous amount to fix it, $3800 to be exact. We did some research and found that was completely unreasonable to charge for the work we needed done. I called McCoy Electric and Jacob listened to our situation, came up to assess the damage and ended up fixing it for us same day. Jacob did an amazing job, he was quick, he helped us understand all the work he had to do, he put us at ease after almost being ripped off and he charged us a fraction of what we were originally quoted! Do not hesitate to hire McCoy Electric, because Jacob is an honest man, running an honest business. They are not the average electrical company charging people who live in the mountains a ridiculous amount higher just because of the demographics. I highly recommend McCoy Electric and we will be customers for life. Thank you, Jacob, we are thoroughly impressed by you and your ethical way of running a service company.

Jake was fantastic. He brought our hot tub back to life! The breaker kept tripping and it turned out the wiring needed to be replaced with new copper. He came out quickly to assess the issue, gave us a straightforward estimate, and had everything fixed the very next day. Fast, professional, and exactly what we needed. We're so happy to have the hot tub up and running again — highly recommend!

McCoy electric was very professional. McCoy electric had the experience to advise me on the best way to handle my project and took the the time to explain to me the process so I could understand why certain changes were necessary.

McCoy Electric changed out lighting systems from fluorescent to LED. Worked quickly, thoroughly and professionally to resolve issues on fixtures then re-install. These changes will pay for themselves within the year, big bonus, making his service and knowledge even more affordable.

We have used Jacob several times and are always very pleased with his work! He can come out quickly, shows up on time, and always does a great job with whatever is needed (small or large)!

Jake did an amazing job for all my electrical needs. He was great at troubleshooting multiple issues I was having. Highly recommend!

I had work done at 2 different places, Jake did a new service at my restaurant, with several new outlets and new wiring. He came in to a situation that needed a lot of troubleshooting and changes and did a great job of making things work when several other people couldn’t . He finished ahead of schedule leaving the place looking seem less.
I also had work done at another business where he had to move and replace existing outlets As well as rerouting wiring. This is a retail location so it has to look great as well as function, and that is what was done. I would use again and refer to anyone I know!

Jake installed our hot tub and did an amazing job! We are so happy with how quickly he was able to help us out and how efficient and professional he was in the process. We would highly recommend him!

Jake was fantastic, professional and courteous during his latest work at our house. He upgraded our panel, installed ceiling fans, and fixtures. He is a great guy to work with!

Once again, we can’t give enough stars to Jake at McCoy Electric. He’s simply the best option around for electrical needs. Fair pricing, dependable, thorough and he explains everything to you slowly so you have no questions.
