I hired My Son’s to install a 100’ retaining wall and fence. In the end I am very pleased with the results. There were a few unexpected issues with the initial results but Ulises took time to listen to my concerns and sent the crew back out to make it right the next day. The focus on customer satisfaction and fair pricing is why I’m giving them a 5 star recommendation despite the initial hiccups. Issues could have been avoided with better communication on both sides about expectations for the wall and fence design, and more attention to detail in reconstructing existing landscaping that was disheveled by the construction. In the end, the crew corrected all issues with care and left the property clean. The crew members were all friendly, seemed to enjoy working together, and made a good team. My Son's Landscaping and Fencing was great to work with and did great work. The owner, Ulises, was very helpful from beginning to end. He met with us several times to help us determine the best of possible solutions to accomplish our needs and goals. He was patient while we worked through several preliminary steps, such as securing Board approvals, and getting land survey markers of the work area, with the consequent delays encountered. He informed us of the complications and time-restrictions involved with having an irrigation ditch running parallel to the retaining wall and fence we needed to repair. He later helped us negotiate with ditch company regarding the final design of the work. He and his crew patiently and tactfully handled the owner of the adjacent property who had his own goals and opinions about the extent of the work needed, and who closely monitored the work. Ulises and his crew graciously answered my many questions and concerns during the project, and accommodated various adjustments I requested during the execution of the project. They did a wonderful job, giving us a finished product that has very favorably impressed our HOA members.
