Electrical reviews in Littleton, Colorado
-
Called for service, they promised same day service. 30 days latter and over 30 calls we have never heard back from them.
-
They were available for same day service when I had a dinner party planned and Murphy's Law came to visit. They were very polite and tidy.

Elsco electric is by far one of the best electrical company I ever used. Up front and hounest. I show off my new panel Elsco put in to my neioghbors. Such high quality and very affordable. I'm going out on a limb but I think it's safe to say Elsco electrical is one of the best companies in the Denver metro area!!!!

On time and efficient. I'd have given 5 stars but they sort of creeper me out the way they were dressed. Looked like a couple homeless guys and one looked like a crack-head or something. People need to look professional, whatever their job if they're going into people's homes. Appearances do matter.

This company was contracted out by ARC to do a reconnect on some electrical work over two years ago i were trying to get electric permit to do some other electrical work and found out that I still had some open and that still have some open that are close not close and in June July, August 24 try to have This company to Close the work permits But seems like i keep getting excuses why The company owner can’t make it and now my phone number has been blocked from him. The owner dose not reply to my messages so now in order to get this problem fixed I did have the city finally come out and inspect and it failed and I cannot get this person to come out and take care of the problem I would not recommend it the hiring This company

Would give zero stars if possible.
Original work was never inspected, even though payment was taken for a "completed job". Xcel required follow-up despite claims the service was complete. After demanding the inspection a month after paying, the electrical work failed. The contractor withheld the report and didn’t fully disclose the failure reasons. It took a threat of legal action to get the job corrected, and the correction has left permanent damage to my home and patio. From start to final approval, the process dragged out for three months.
----
I hired Todd Engle of ELSCO Electrical & Lighting Services Company, LLC to replace the electrical panel at my new/first home. He told me the job was complete and I paid in full in cash. A week later he said Xcel was forcing them to make another update. I didn't push back, even when they showed up unannounced to perform the work. I discovered a month later that he never scheduled the required city inspection, and he claimed I had to be living in the home for the inspection to take place, which is a complete lie. No apology for not setting up the final inspection has ever come.
When the work finally was inspected, it failed for multiple reasons. Todd only told me about one issue, never disclosed the full list of failures, and then refused to give me a copy of the inspection report, even after repeated requests. The city inspectors said he was required to provide it and were surprised he hadn't.
For six weeks, he stalled, sent workers to my home without notice, and claimed other contractors were holding things up with getting the work to pass inspection. I finally had to push hard to get the work corrected, and even then, one of the "fixes" was a poorly built wooden platform drilled into my concrete patio and brick exterior and makes access to my water spigot difficult. I was not told they were planning to drill into my house or patio or I wouldn't have let them. Since I just wanted to be done with this unprofessional, unapologetic man, I let it ride.
He still has not provided the inspection documentation. Instead, he keeps sending screenshots of the permit website, which includes no information about what was corrected. Both city inspectors expressed concern about his lack of transparency, the fact that he took payment before the inspection had been done, and the amount of time it was taking for him to get things done. One of the city inspectors warned me that Todd and his company had a reputation with the city inspectors. He also confirmed that waiting more than 30 days to get the work inspected was absurd and that I certainly didn't need to be living in the house for the inspection to take place.
This was my first home. I trusted a licensed contractor to be honest and responsible. What I got was delays, misrepresentation, and evasive behavior. He was also incredibly unprofessional in our email correspondence. In fact, at one point he was trying to blame me for the inspection not passing, and he was emailing me in all caps for relaying things the inspector had told me.
At best, this man runs a disorganized operation and avoids accountability at every turn. At worst, he’s a contractor who takes your money, cuts corners, and disappears until you threaten legal action. Either way, you’re left cleaning up the mess.
I’ve filed formal complaints with DORA, the Colorado Attorney General, the BBB and my city’s permitting department.
Steer clear of this business. -
This is a fantastic company! They have hung multiple lights in our home and replaced an electrical wire. They are professional and knowledgeable - I would strongly recommend!
-
The Pros - very responsive to initial request and work was completed on a Saturday (per Sundog Scheduling).
The Cons - the crew that arrived was not aware of the full scope requested. The crew was also very vocal about their frustration to be working on a Saturday....despite this being the scheduled time.
Overall I would try Sundog again, but my guess is the experience varies by crew. -
Eli and his apprentice were both top-notch! Very knowledgeable, thorough and quick. I highly recommend Sundog Electric LLC for any of your electrical needs?

Mark and Luis did a great job of fixing a DIY job from the previous owner of our house - it looks great now, and works better too!
-
This is a great company (getting tougher to find these days!) Professional (knew what they were doing), ethical, a pleasure to work with, and on-time. Highly recommend.

Sundog is a professional and dedicated electrician company that has fair prices and is motivated to make the customer happy. I've used them several times and each time they are true to their estimate, timely and work with me to make their work the best.

They installed a sub-panel and receptacle that allows me to hook up a portable generator to the house, so in case of a power outage we can run the furnace, fridge, garage door, internet, some lights, and so on. I'm very happy with the work they did, they did it on time, and the communication was excellent. I had a small complication afterwards regarding the power cord I bought that connects the generator to the house, and Brian worked with me immediately to resolve that successfully. I would definitely use this company again.

They provided a fairly priced bid for re-wiring our garage and bringing it up to code. The work was was scheduled timely and very professional. They solved issues as they came up with efficient and cost-effective solutions. We look forward to additional electrical projects with Sundog.

The whole process was very easy and professional. Brian came out for an estimate, was extremely knowledgeable, gave me an honest price, and it was scheduled the same week. The electrician, Jobe, showed up on time, was extremely patient at answering all my questions, and got the job done efficiently. I did not get the name of the other electrician, but they were both fantastic. I will most certainly be calling Sundog with any electrical needs.

Mark and Beck were very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. All the work was done at a reasonable price.

😎Knowledgeable, courteous, on time, reasonable pricing, cleaned up after. Sundog is our go to for all of our electrical needs 👏

This team did an excellent job! They relocated a light fixture in our room, arriving early and completing the work within an hour. They honored their quoted price, which was half the cost of another electrician we considered. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them first for any future electrical work.
