I'm giving 2 stars here - 1 for the fact that they were punctual in their responses and 1 because they were highly professional in their communications.

However, they lose all the other stars just based on absurd pricing structure. I was quoted almost $1000 to clean a chandelier in my home that I had installed a little over a year ago. It literally only cost me $650 for the chandelier and $200 for the electrician to install the thing, meaning that it would actually be cheaper for me to just buy a new one, have it installed, and throw this one away than go with this company's service.

The argument on this price seems to be that there are many strings that can get tangled and the need for scaffolding....but the electrician contended with the exact same conditions. And he had to go to trade school to learn electrical.

I'm not sure what the hourly rate this company charges for cleaning services, but it's completely out of touch with reality when they're charging more than electricians or, it seems, even that of my son at his day job - who has an engineering degree from MIT and works in an incredibly in-demand field.

I'm sure the quality of their work is lovely. And I'm also sure that, if you're a hotel or office space that doesn't pay attention to things like cost because you push it off to others or you are just one of those people who's quantity of money eclipses your quantity of common sense, you'll probably be pleased with what happens. For those of us who want to think rationally, however...

John, and his team always do such an amazing job!! They are great at communicating and ensure that they provide the best quality to the customer. I really appreciate their work!!

Metropolis Window Cleaning came and washed all of our windows, ceiling fans, window screens, and chandelier! I was amazed at how much the chandelier sparkled! All the people I interacted with were professional, kind, and willing to answer and explain their processes. They definitely went above and beyond. Brandon specifically took extra time to ensure that everything was cleaned to perfection. I cannot recommend Metropolis Window Cleaning enough - we will absolutely contact them again in the future.

John and his teammate did an incredible job cleaning the inside, outside, and screens of all the windows on our house. We see so clearly now! They also revitalized our antique chandelier, which looked like it had never been cleaned, and is now so sparkly and beautiful to look at. They were communicative, friendly, and professional, and I cannot believe how much newer our house looks and how much better it feels to be in it after they worked their magic! The price sounded a bit high at first, but they worked hard to do things I couldn't have done myself (like power washing the screens and climbing on the roof to get at weird windows) and the results were awesome. :)

Metropolis does great work! They cleaned a 2 story entry way, light fixture, and window ledge for me, and it made the whole house seem brighter.

They cleaned all my windows in Sunshine Canyon in Boulder after the fire left them covered with smoke and fire suppressant gel. Great people who love their work and take great care of their customers. EXCELLENT JOB!

I used this service as part of my move from a rental. The guys were punctual, communicated with me beforehand and throughout the process, and were finished with our house within 90 minutes. We have a two level house with 4 bedrooms. They also paid for a window that grew a crack during the cleaning process. I would definitely recommend and use this business again.

Metropolis cleaned the gutters on my house, and they not only left the gutters and downspouts squeaky clean, they cleaned all the debris off the roof and ground, as well! A very thorough job that was fast, easy to schedule, and very reasonably priced, thank you!

Brandon professionally cleaned my chandeliers and lighting after a remodel. He did an excellent job, everything is sparkling! It's a bit expensive but well worth it. He was very neat and respectful of my home. I will be scheduling with him for window cleaning in the spring.
