DO NOT HIRE! I had an extremely disappointing experience with this contractor. He told me my existing water heater couldn’t be repaired and claimed it would cost $1,000 to fix, so he recommended replacing it with a new unit. We agreed on a specific model and on proper disposal of the old one.

What actually happened was completely unacceptable. A different, cheaper water heater was installed—NOT the one we agreed on. The old unit was left outside on the street despite our agreement that it would be removed, which even caused issues with my HOA and resulted in a penalty.

On top of that, my credit card was charged twice. I was promised a refund multiple times, but it never happened. I was also promised repeatedly that he would come pick up the old unit, and that never happened either.

When I questioned the wrong water heater being installed, his response was basically that he “grabbed whatever they had waiting” and didn’t check to make sure it was the correct one.

To make matters worse, he never pulled the required permits for the installation.

Overall, this has been one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I’ve ever had. Lack of professionalism, broken promises, incorrect equipment, double charges, and no follow‑through. I cannot recommend this contractor to anyone.
