Constraction reviews in Peyton, Colorado

Danny and Russ with Stone Ridge Construction did some renovation work on our two of our homes over the last 28 years and they do amazing work….great communication and quality craftsmanship

Highly recommend Stone Ridge Construction! Danny was great to work with as we planned the bathroom remodels. Then Russ took over coordinating the various contractors for the job. Russ was great at keeping me updated on which contractor would be here and when. If I couldn't let someone in, Russ or an employee was always available to do so. Very happy with all the contractors they used. Our LVT and carpet etc. were protected well during the remodel. Great job covering bedroom furniture and closet doors with plastic to keep dust residue to a minimum. We designed our vanity before contracting with Stone Ridge....but they were happy to use our business choice. When there was a big problem with the vanity, Russ did not hesitate to work with the vanity company and rectify all issues. He went above and beyond in a few areas, like replacing the working parts of a toilet we did not buy new. He ordered extra towel racks and installed them after seeing there was room for them once the project was complete.
Danny and Russ have checked in with us and made sure we contact them if we have any issues that come up. Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend Stone Ridge for all remodeling/construction needs. We have worked with them for 20 years and they have always been prompt, courteous, job was done right the first time and on time (if not early).

2025 update: the Stone Ridge team finished our basement this summer and did another terrific job! Danny and Russ are fantastic to work with and take all the headaches out of home remodeling. Our family still highly recommends their services!

We've used Danny and Russ 3 separate times for home renovations (2019-2021) and have been satisfied each time, so much so that we are engaging with the Stone Ridge team again for a potential basement remodel (2024). Danny and Russ are professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. They do a great job of managing their subcontractor team; this saves us tremendous amounts of time, money and potential headaches trying to wrangle workers to complete our projects. Our family is grateful for having met and entrusted the Stone Ridge team to make our home a wonderful place to live!

Stone Ridge did a great job rehabilitating the kitchen and pantry in our 40-year-old home. Their scope included demolition of the original cabinets and countertops, and installing new semi-custom wood cabinets and countertops. Tradesmen produced high quality work, particularly the flooring, electrical, and finish carpentry. Their past working relationship with our selected cabinet manufacturer expedited scheduling and cabinet installation. Issues identified during the 10-week project were constructively resolved in a timely manner. Coordination with the local building officials resulted in meeting schedule dates for inspections. They provided value for money.

We would highly recommend this company if you desire a remodel. We had 2 bathrooms updated in our home. A calendar of service was given so we knew exactly what service was being provided. Supervision was always maintained as the process was being completed. Communication throughout this experience was a definite plus. Each of the services was outstanding and professional. We would use them again for any other remodeling in our home.

Danny and Russ at Stone Ridge Construction absolutely took care of our project AND US every step of the way. We chose them because of the detailed and fair proposal they provided, but I can honestly say, that step by step, they treated our project as if it were their own home. They cared about getting everything right - the first step was to help our vision come to life, but they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly. That's what you pay a contractor for - for good advice and high-quality work! The communication was impeccable and their attitudes were always positive! Danny and Russ are welcome at my house any old time because they are the kind of people you want to be around. Stone Ridge Construction is THE BEST and I can't recommend them enough.

Danny & Russ were amazing! From the start, Danny was so easy to work with, offering great ideas, but also cost-conscious alternatives that fit into our design. Russ was always a pleasure to work with, keeping close control over his subs & having them correct anything that didn't meet to his high standards, even before we noticed anything. We are planning our next project with Stone Ridge & consider them a trusted partner in our home remodel for years to come.

Danny Mellen from Stone Ridge Construction was incredible to work with on my bathroom remodel. My bathroom was very outdated and needed a fresh update. The first stage was doing the demolition of my bathroom. At the end of the day everything was removed from the bathroom, and everything was perfectly clean. Drop cloth were put down throughout the house. I really appreciated that.

At this point I have already decided on floor tile colors, grout, lighting, mirror, vanity, tub and fixtures. Danny was able to suggest some other ideas that I went with that involved new doors, trim, and stain ideas.

Danny thoroughly explains what was going to happen each day. Excellent communication, always on time. He would explain to me which contractors were going to show up each day. This was such a positive experience I cannot wait to have them help me with other parts of my house. I highly recommend Stone Ridge Construction for all your remodeling needs.

We're so happy with our two story fireplace remodel! Danny & Russ were on top of every step of the process, from coordinating with contractors to being kind, professional and incredibly personable throughout. They work wonderfully as a team and made a significant home remodel feel as stress-free as possible. Highly recommend this dynamic duo!

We had our house interior completely repainted including ceilings, doors, and woodwork. Our kitchen was totally demolished and redesigned with top of the line cabinets, countertops, plumbing, all appliances, new wood floors and carpeting throughout plus updated wiring. The quality of ALL the work was outstanding. All the workers were very friendly and helpful! Stone Ridge construction was very honest and had great suggestions when we asked for help on making decisions affecting certain construction ideas. We are VERY pleased with how we were treated and the final outcome of our project.

Stone Ridge Construction is an exceptional company. They did a whole main floor/kitchen renovation. It included new hardwood floors, a complete gut renovation/rebuild to our kitchen. The attention to detail and making sure everything was perfect before finishing the job was remarkable.

We used them again after a catastrophic flood that affected three floors of our home. It was devastating. Danny and Russ were always kind, patient and thorough. We removed almost the entire interior front of the home. They rebuilt all our plumbing, electric, two bathrooms, basement flooring, hardwood repairs, basement floors, drywall, trim and paint. I don’t have one complaint. They are the best at what they do, but also honest good people. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We recently finished a second project with Stone Ridge Construction and once again couldn't be more pleased. Danny's thorough review of our wants and needs resulting in a comprehensive and competitive proposal, and Russ's management and project oversight produced results above and beyond our expectations. We have used them now for a very large renovation (kitchen/dining/baths) and relatively small project (bath only) and were very pleased that the same level of attention was given to both. We highly recommend Stone Ridge Construction and will be using them for future renovation projects.

I would highly recommend Stone Ridge Construction contractors without reservation. Danny and Russ provided workers and contractors who were professional, competent and courteous. They kept me well informed of their schedules and progress. They were open and adaptable to any suggestions I had for changes/alterations to my bathroom remodeling project. It functions perfectly and looks very beautiful, just as I imagined. Many thanks to Russ and Danny!

My windows and new doors are awesome! Stoneridge replaced 21 windows, two doors, and multiple sections of damaged trim prior to my painting contractor's work. They met an aggressive schedule with great craftsmanship and respect for my property. This is the third project they've done on my house and are my only call for the next one.

Russ & Danny were awesome to work with! Great communication, work and workers. I couldn’t have chosen a better company for our kitchen remodel. Moving on to master bath and basement in the near future. Thanks you guys for an almost stress free remodel which I didn’t think was even possible.

The Stone Ridge Construction team has been an absolute pleasure to have worked with throughout the entire process to an absolute satisfaction of the final product. During the proposal phase, Danny Mellen's professionalism and subject matter expertise impressed upon my husband and I a sense of trust, reassurance, and confidence in the vision of our end states. No question went unanswered and no concern was left unaddressed with regards to any/all aspects of the construction that my husband and I came up with. During the construction phase, Russ Harding's ability to be adaptive, flexible, and communicative to any emergent needs necessary to complete a job or task during construction proves the decades of experience and expertise not only Stone Ridge Construction advertises, but the subcontractors that are part of the entire team. If they say they can solve a problem, I trust them. If they recommend an alternative to my requirements, I trust it. They will definitely hear from us again for more work. We love our library so much!

Stone Ridge Construction did a awesome job with the Total remodel of my home. Taken down to the studs and reconfigured and rebuilt. I am extremely impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and how Everything turned out so well. My home is so much more functional and now has a contemporary look inside and outside. Russ was incredible! Always prompt in responding and also kept me posted every step of the way. Stone Ridge Construction is the Only company I would have trusted with a project of this size. I highly recommend Stone Ridge Construction for your projects, big and small. Thank you Russ and Danny for everything! Photo on the bottom is what my house used to look like. Top photo is after the major renovation.
Huge difference! Forever grateful...

Danny and Russ are great to work with on home renovations. They ensure the project is understood and priced accurately. I also enjoyed working with the vendors they use for tile, plumbing fixtures, solid surfaces (quartz and granite) , and cabinetry. They are meticulous and communicate frequently regarding options and schedule. We had them renovate our master bathroom, guest bathroom, wet bar, and replumb our house.
