Clayton was professional, fast and did quality work installing multiple outlets, lights, switches to code.

I called at the end of the day expecting to schedule an appointment for the next day at the earliest. Clay happened to be nearby and swung by a few minutes later. He was able to quickly assess and fix my problem for a reasonable price after what I expect to be normal working hours (without emergency fees). I really appreciate that he didn't give me a hard time for my own attempt at solving the problem. Clay was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will call him first if I ever need anything else.
After I wrote my review I was thinking. I want to add that Clay listened to my report and he took his job from there. I understand a certain amount expertise is needed for electrical work, but it was still very satisfying and I think overall helpful that Clay took the time to listen to my situation and begin with that. It leads to a fantastic interaction and validation for the project. Great Job.

Clay came over same day to help me install new GFCI outlets that were giving me trouble. He did a great job, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be going to him for future electrical needs!

Clayton updated 12-year old fire alarms in my home. He suggested installing carbon monoxide coverage as well, to be in code. A follow-up was completed to address an alarm which was defective from factory. This update should cover me for 10-years! Thanks!

Clay was great—super prompt and did excellent work! He quoted and installed recessed LED lights, ceiling fan boxes, and an outlet above the fireplace all in the same day. We got several quotes, and his was the most reasonable by far.

We’ll definitely have him back for more projects around the house.

I needed to replace an old bathroom light fixture with more modern style and also replace a dimmer switch. Clay was very responsive and easy to set an appointment with. I appreciated him being very respectful of my home. The cost was also very fair. Granted I had to patch /repair the part where the old fixture was demolished but I was expecting that. I was very satisfied with the work done and would highly recommend Clay for electrical work

last week an employee of matzen electric became extremely disrespectful & used some pretty serious language towards me. i had 2 of my kids in the car with me, i was waiting for oncoming traffic & apparently this guy was in a hurry. he became very angry, verbally assaulting & a very dangerous driver.
i will never consider using this company, i made several calls & never got an answer/response.
