I recently had the pleasure of using Benchmark for a project that needed a professional. From the moment the phone call was answered by Ms. Courtney to the Technician that arrived onsite (Mr. Austin). The PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY, but most importantly, the CUSTOMER SERVICE these two individuals performed had gone beyond my expectations. This statement is coming from a person that has used contractors inside and outside the United States on several government projects. I will definitely be using Benchmark Electrical Solutions again because of these two...... Thank you again, Ms. Courtney and Mr. Austin.

I had Benchmark install a transfer switch to be a little more prepared for the power outages that keep happening in our area. Javier came out and crushed it. Everything works great and the finished product looks professional as well. Now that I've gotten this installed, the power will likely never go out again. So you're welcome.

Javier was very respectful and polite. I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing electrical work. The fact that he cleaned up after himself says how amazing of a person he is and gets the job done well. Thank you Javi !!!

Javier came out to our property to look at some electrical issues we were having. He was patient, very knowledgeable with code and definitely knew what he was doing. Walked us through step by step and fixed our issue. Will be using this company again in the future.

Javier with Benchmark is a great guy and easy to work with. If I ever need any work done he is my first call. He has great communication before/during/after the job. He gets the job done in a timely manor and I’ve never had to ask how the job is going. If you ever need any electrical work done Javier is the guy you want.

I scheduled two different appointments to get a quote and both were no shows. There was no communication letting us know that they would not be coming. I can not speak to their actual work but am very disappointed with their customer service on the front end. A first impression like this does not make me want to be a customer.

I will start by saying our electrician was professional and took pride in his work and I’m happy with the lighting installation we had them do which is why I did not give them one star. My complaint is with whoever I spoke to about what I needed and a general estimate of how much time it would take to install 3 pendant lights, 1 chandelier, and hide cables for two TVs. I was told their rate is $100 and hour and from what I was explained it they said it sounded like it should take about an hour. Like any rational person working with people who charge an hourly rate I allotted for double the time and around $200 for the work. Imagine my surprise when my electrician was in our house for almost 5 hours and didn’t finish one of our TVs. I had called several companies and was quoted anywhere between $250-$400 but decided to go with Benchmark because I was told this should not take that long. When I asked our electrician about how much this would be, he explained they charge $100 for the first 30 min and then $95 an hour after that. This was news to me. I paid nearly $500 for lighting installation when I was told this should not take long and their rate is $100 an hour. I would have gone with literally anyone else if they were forthright about their business practices. What a disappointment. I would steer clear of them and get several quotes. What a joke.
