We put in a newly shaped cement curbing, removed old juniper, removed some grass, added rock and a flagstone path for easier maintenance under our big blue spruce. Added grasses and hydrangeas. Also installed a new buried a runoff path from our lengthy downspout. Sam, Miguel and the team were able to do on-site modifications as the design changed. Definitely happy to recommend this company!

I found HIVE exterior services through the Thumbtack app with good recommendations. I checked references which were excellent. Medium size project Backyard went from a hot mess to a place of entertainment conversation and family togetherness. Highly recommend. Work was completed on time with no cost over runs. I have included before and after pictures.

My project started as a simple purchase of rock. Jason, the supervisor, came to my house to determine a quote. As we chatted, I identified the problems that my landscape presented. Jason had an answer for each challenge. This project went so smoothly and was completed timely because a competent and experienced crew completed the work. Called and made an appointment for them to come blow out our sprinklers, after us waiting from 10am-12pm they never showed up and we couldn’t reach anyone in the office. Unprofessional.

I was driving down the road in Greeley and a truck with the Southern Exposure logo almost hit me by switching lanes, which could’ve caused a car accident. The drivers need to be more safe, especially with the logo of the company all over the truck! The license plates were ALE-947, I don’t know who the guy is but he needs to check his mirrors more often and be cautious of other drivers around him. NOT good especially when he’s driving a company truck !

This company does not stand behind its work. I paid for a new drip line to a single plant to be installed. This required about 15 minutes and 10 inches of pvc tubing. As I remember it, cost $70. The line failed in the first week. The Southern Exposure technician returned and said it had been fixed. Shortly thereafter, I left town for a month. On my return, I found that the plant had received no water. I asked Southern Exposure about their failure to get it right. There response was, "Well, we did the job" They refused to refund my payment, or any part of it. I didn't pay for technician visits. I paid to establish irrigation to a plant.

They have done good work for me in the past, but their refusal to even consider a refund for failing to do this job right shows they are not interested in my good will.

Scheduled with them two weeks ago for sprinkler blowout. Even called this morning to confirm; had to leave a message. What did they do? Called at 2:45pm, 15 minutes before they were to be here and cancelled. Right before the severe cold hits. Horrible customer service! Will never use them again for anything!

I saw the good reviews and pictures, and I wanted to use them for sure. When Christian knew they weren’t going to be able to get me in when I wanted, instead of trying to hard sell me to change my date, he went above and beyond. He told me when they would be able to, and also suggested 2 companies that could do the work sooner. Amazing customer service! Thank you!!!

I've used EcoTurf the last 2 years and my lawn has never looked better. The weeds that always used to creep into my lawn have gone away. The pre-emergent they used for the sandbox and "garden" (tongue in cheek as I'm not sure I will ever get around to planting a garden) works wonders. Very responsive customer service.
