I had an amazing experience with these gentleman! I called them in the fall, and they stopped by that evening. They had the lights up when they said and coordinated to take them down. I highly recommend them and would refer them to all my friends and family.

Austin did a great job on our patio in Grimes. Walked us through the whole pro with great communication. The final product was great and I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely recommend S&C Contracting to others for any concrete work in the Central Iowa area.

Waited 4 weeks to get footing done for my shop. Keeps telling me next week. If I can kris Ross to answer his phone. He will not return calls or let you know what is going on. Poor company to work with.

After getting a few quotes, my husband and I decided to go with CL Construction (through Colby Landscape who we talked to at the home show) to get our patio refinished. Great communication at the beginning and the work was done in a day. After it dried we noticed numerous spots that were missed and a ton of the product they used ended up on our siding (which we can’t get off). The guy came back out and hit the missed spots and it made everything worse and those spots now stick out even more so. We are not happy with the amount of money spent and what our patio ended up looking like. He told us he would come back out and hit the whole thing again and then we never heard from him and he never came back out. We will not be recommending CL Construction or Colby Landscape to anyone we know and wanted to share our experience so others have awareness. Thought this would be a fairly easy job resealing an existing patio.

The quality of the work is outstanding—the concrete is smooth, level, and exactly what we envisioned. They paid great attention to detail and made sure everything was cleaned up when the job was done. It’s clear they take pride in their craftsmanship.
