We have a Kwanzan cherry tree with browing leaves and holes. We called SavATree and Jake came out to look over the tree and suggested what was needed to get the tree healthy again. We had the first application done on time and the process was easy.

We have worked with Save a Tree for years at multiple properties and they always deliver what’s promised in a professional manner.

Came to the property on time- used safety equipment and caution around icy conditions and power lines - executed the work to expectations the. Kindly used the wood hips to help line some of the icy pathways up to my entryways to make it safer for me and my dog to enter and exit the house! Love these guys! M

Michael and the crew lead by Angel did a fantastic job! I had a few obstacles (a narrow driveway, fence, and garden shed) for them to work around. They trimmed just what we discussed and cleaned up the area beautifully! I can't wait for the sunlight to come pouring in on my hydrangeas that have been lacking the sun they need. Highly recommend SavATree!

The Staff has been great to work with. They show up on time as promised and the crew just works to get it done. The crew works in an extremely save manners and they clean up when they are done. Not only would I use them again, I already have more work scheduled. Just a Great experience.

Jake was prompt in scheduling my appointment and returning my calls/emails. Phil and the crew were punctual and efficient. SavATree was referred to me by my Mom, who was pleased with the work that they had done on her property. MOMMA KNOWS, MOMMA KNOWS!!

After experiencing a couple of not great tree services done over the years I honestly have to say SavATree came in and did an absolutely awesome job! While I didn't have any removals done the pruning results on the 5 mature oaks make the trees cleaner and safer. The crew had to navigate a number of major limb removals that
hung over the power lines into my and my neighbors house. Not to mention my new roof and neighbors vinyl fence. All done with no issues. Also have to say the clean up at the end of the job was great. Highly recommend this outfit.

After doing a good deal of research, I decided to go with SavATree for some pruning and removal of a dying tree. Jake was very professional, gave his honest assessment of the scope of work that needed to be done, and provided my husband and I with a reasonable and competitive quote.

He and the crew came a few weeks later to perform the job, bright and early. Communication was excellent, the crew did an amazing job and were highly professional from set up to clean up. My yard looks amazing and II don't have to worry about that dang tree falling over lol.

Will definitely be calling this company again for my tree needs!

A crew was scheduled and arrived at my house only for the foreman to “refuse” the project.
I recently received a written quote from Jake and Heather in the Bloomfield office. They came to my house and assessed the project: the complete removal of two trees and the trimming of two others. We agreed to the quote and paid in full. I needed to contact Jake to schedule the project after I had paid, instead of him proactively contacting me to schedule after receiving my payment.
Jake and the crew arrived at my house and Jake walked them through the project. Upon the discussion of a particular tree the foreman refused to do any of the work and claimed that particular tree was too dangerous and he wouldn’t work on it.
The foreman repeatedly used vulgar language in front of my three young children in our yard. Jake told me the work could not be done due to the foreman’s refusal. Jake was rude and condescending to his crew. He did not offer to have a different crew come out or any other solution. His and Heather’s only offer was an apology and a full refund. Which, I will say, was completed expeditiously.
Jake is an arborist and he and Heather are the ones quoting jobs. But they are not tree climbers and do not do the work. They both repeatedly blamed the entire problem on the foreman and the crew.
Such an entirely disappointing experience with this company. I truly hope they figure out their communication and management issues.

Everyone who worked with us was professional and efficient. Jeanette was helpful in explaining the billing, Devin was knowledgeable and forthcoming in assessing the trees and explaining what needed to be done. The crew was right on time and did a tremendous job pruning and cabling the trees and cleaning up.

Garrett accessed my situation, came up with a resolution to cable my maple trees, and I’m looking forward to many more years with my trees because of Savatrees team efforts

Save A Tree cut down and removed 19 trees and ground 6 stumps for me in early May 2024. It was an expensive job but they did excellent work. The job leaders Gary and Heather were great to work with and were very focused on me being fully satisfied. The work crew was very skilled and professional. Their emphasis on safety was most impressive. And they took extra care to minimize any damage to my lawn and throughly cleaned up the yard when they were done. I would highly recommend SavATree to anyone who is looking to get tree work done.

All employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. We had treatment for a fungus now and again in the spring.

I would not recommend Savatree because their sales team always looks to make money, they are not accountable to the work they’ve done. they cabled arbors in my backyard, charged $1200, and 1.5 years later they are in bad shape again. Sales rep about to quote another few hundred dollars to fix those. They are all about milking money in the name of saving trees.

Angel and his crew came by today to check on some support cables that were placed last year. We were happy with the work done last year cleaning up our many trees, and happy that the company checks on their work and makes sure things are safe and looking okay. Angel and his team were kind, informative, efficient and respectful while replacing a support cable. They laid mats down to protect the lawn and I can barely tell they were there today. It looks great and I'm very appreciative of their work.

**** However - There is something left to be desired when it comes to scheduling and phone communications. When we first tried to book with SavATree last year, they told us they'd call us back within a few weeks and never did. We followed up again, and they still didn't give us an appointment. We followed up a third time and they said they had us scheduled for tree work in three days but they never called to tell us that they booked us..

About a month ago, someone from SavATree called US to book fertilization of the trees and other work, and my partner told him unfortunately we weren't able to cover the cost of that at this time and to please not make any plans to come out this way.

** SavATree didn't let us know that anyone was showing up this morning and I came outside to unexpected trucks in the driveway.
It's a bit jarring to have trucks show up without warning. I thought they were going to tell me one of our trees fell or something and was pretty concerned at first.

Yearly maintenance is something that should be scheduled and communicated about, as well as any possible work that needs to be done. The fact that my partner had spoken to someone a month earlier and specifically told them we weren't able to commit to more work at this time but they decided to send workers anyway with zero notice just rubs me the wrong way. Especially since during that phone call, it could have communicated to my partner that they wanted to come by and check the their work without any financial obligation on our end. We would have been fine and quite happy with that. Angel made multiple phone calls to SavAtTree and check in about the visit as well as make it understood that scheduling and phone calls need to be made priority. I wasn't super satisfied with the response on the other end of the call as there was barely an apology or accountability taken.

We're appreciative of the company's commitment to upkeep and checking their work and we are happy the work itself. Angel and his team replaced the cable at no charge which we are very grateful for. It is clear to me that Angel cares about the quality of the work and also cares about clients. It's clear that he takes a lot of pride in his job, sharing his knowledge and making things right. He is an actual gem and SavATree is very lucky to have him.

The actual tree work has been great but just please PLEASE get the office/scheduling on par with the services. Thank you! :)

I will only use Save a tree! The arborist who came out to quote was knowledgeable and showed up with the crew the day of! I have used them in the past and have always been impressed with the crew, checking with me during the job and their cleanup was great! No complaints at all!

SavATree has Great customer service, start to finish.The yard was clear of any limbs or leaves. After they were done the yard and trees looked great. Good job!!

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. I responded to a mailer offering a free consultation and I was connected with Arborist Garrett Dick. Garrett called ahead of our appointment time to confirm. Garrett surveyed our trees, with my wife and I. He is obviously very knowledgeable and he took time to explain any work he was recommending. Definitely not a hard sell experience and definitely not over priced for the extent of work. Final quote and billing was all handled electronically.
On the day of service, Garrett accompanied Leo and Brian, the two service providers assigned to our job. Equipment was clean, and everyone was extremely professional. Leo and Brian worked quickly and safely and took their time to leave nothing for me to clean up after they were done.
It's important to know what you know and what you don't know. This 'ounce of prevention' was money well spent versus calling for emergency removal. I'll definitely be connecting with SavATree annually to insure everything is in order. Fingers crossed that if I need future work, Leo and Brian will be onsite again.
