Terrible top soil quality. Mixed with a lot of sand, that even hydro seeding did not work.

Did a wonderful job turning a rocky and stump filled area into a graded clear pasture! Polite and friendly and completed the work on time.

First off, I believe the negative reviews are *not* applicable to Canton Village Construction, and were likely intended for a different company. My experience with John Bahre and his entire team has been 100%, A+, and *****. They are among the top contractors I've ever worked with, and that's saying a lot because I worked corporately in New York for years and dealt with many trades for interior/exterior construction, parking lots and office building renovations. Here in Connecticut, Canton Village Construction has installed drains and driveways and an access road for me. They show up exactly when they say they will, they clearly communicate via text, phone, Email. Their prices are right on target. The work they do is flawless--and I mean--zero problems. *None*. They say what they're going to do--and they do it. Amazing these days. John and his team are friendly, personable, and hard workers. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are truly the best!

Unable to deliver as promised, wasted an entire day of my contractors time and my $$$. Dan the Owner was incredibly rude putting his finger right in my face when I asking him when the next delivery was coming. He refused to give me any estimate and told me to ‘Time him’. Sorry I’m not playing games when I have guys on the clock. Fired him on the spot. Going to Dunning instead. I will say all the other employees were pleasant to deal with but I refuse to support the company in the future and recommend others go elsewhere.

In July on a sweltering day, with dust in the air from all the machines moving about, I had the most fun I ever could imagine in the rock quarry area where all the different materials get bought/sold or dumped!!! Sounds silly but it's such a cool place to see all the different building/landscape rock materials there. The best part was when we were dumping 5 truckloads of bricks, high upon a tall hill of debris, the owner offered to give me a lift up to the top, in a giant bucket loader!!!!! I got to climb up and see what it was like!! Not just a regular size machine, but the giant one!! The ones you see in Russia that mine commodities. So cool it was of him!!! Thanks so much and look forward to doing business with your company in the future!

We needed to put a drop ceiling in our basement. Lots of awkward duct work and plumbing to work around, so it took some creativity to make it look right. Paul and Tom did an outstanding job, and were a pleasure to deal with. They also worked extremely well with our electrician who installed lighting to complete the job. I’m really glad I hired CT Ceiling Systems, they deserve my highest praise.

Honest professionals who work throughout the state of Connecticut. They returned our call right away and we had a fairly-priced quote two days later. Highly recommend.

I own a building and remodeling company and I contacted Paul in reference to a rec room dropped ceiling. He got right back to me with a fair price. Paul completed the job on time, on budget and was very neat and thorough with his work. His attention to detail was excellent; he does not short cut when it comes to the details on revealed edges. It was a pleasure working with him and would highly recommend him for any residential or commercial work.

Paul and Tom did a terrific job with two very difficult lower level ceilings. Pipes, ductwork, and many other challenges were all handled in stride. True professionels. Easy to work with, and at a fair price. Thanks guys, job well done

Paul and Tom were great to work with. They did a wonderful job with finishing my basement studio. They communicated well and were here when they said they would and did the job on time and on budget!! We highly recommend Paul at CT Ceiling and would not hesitate to use them again.

We own a raised ranch that had an outdated suspended ceiling that we wished to update. Paul came out to view the room and made recommendations on best design and ceiling type to use. He provided a real time quote which we thought was fair. He explained the process and when we accepted he put us on his schedule to get it completed. Today we viewed the final product and are extremely pleased. It really is very dressy and spices up the room. We would highly recommend Ct Ceilngs. Thanks Paul!
