Well-equipped (180 ft reach crane!), knowledgeable, experienced, hard working and efficient tree company. I had them remove 30 large trees on my property. The crane had so much reach they were able to remove most of the trees without having to move the crane. The owner was easy to communicate with before and during the job. They used ground protection mats to protect the edges of my driveway from vehicles driving off it. The stump grinding and site cleanup were so thorough there is almost no evidence of where trees used to be. The price was reasonable for the scope and quality of work done and the number of employees and amount of equipment used.

Recommend highly. Professional, knowledgeable ,fair priced. What more could you ask for.

They did a good job of cutting the trees and cleaning up when done. They were very curtious and well spoken. However they did not come when planned They were 3 weeks later than expected. 2 weeks turned into 5. I do realize weather plays a part of on time delivery but we had some rain but mostly nice weather during that time. They also tried to cancel the day of the project. Had they called the day before I would have been fine but I had taken the day off from work and they called 2 days before hand saying we were on for that day. It was an 8 hour job they said but finished in 6 hours and didn't finish the contract. I have been calling but they seem disinterested in finishing . I'm assuming because it is now a very small job as opposed to what it was before. I will now have to find someone else to finish the work and take another day off myself of work. They were not the cheapest contractor but I hired them because they said they would have been there the quickest. Now I'll have to wait even longer. 😔

James and crew did a fantastic job taking down a massive pine tree. The tree was very close to the house and made us nervous every time the wind blew. They showed up on time and when they left the only way to tell they had been there was bye bye pine tree. They even took the debris hidden under the bottom of the tree!!! A++ Howard Tree!!

This is the 2nd time we have used Howard Tree Service and both times they have been phenomenal. First time they cut down approximately 33 very large pine trees and just recently another 12 or so large maple trees. They are much better priced than most other tree services and always responsive and most important very safe and detailed. I will always use them for tree service and would recommend them to anyone. Also just found out they do stump grinding and tree planting so that is now good to know. Thanks James.

Mr. Howard returned my call within a couple of hours, came out to assess our needs and provided me with an estimate the same day. We had a large hickory tree come down in a storm, bringing a few other trees with it. Mr. Howard came two days later after his initial visit to get the trees cut down, cleaned up and chipped. The area looks great and I now have a fresh pile of wood chips to use. I am 100% satisfied with his communication, expertise and care of our property when completing this job. This is our 2nd time (at least) using Howard Tree Service and we will definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Howard Tree Service for 20+ years. James and his crew are GREAT. They are honest, do excellent work and clean up the property incredibly well ( you can't tell they were there ). We have called James in a pinch on several occasions to deal with major storm damage. He always comes out straight away and has consistently put a high priority on sorting the issue at hand.
