Connecticut Renovations and Construction were Extremely Professional., JON Kubasek was extremely helpful and did over what was asked of him. The price is right! I have hired him for jobs for twenty Years. now. THEN When I bought a piece of land had no reservations to hire him to build! my dream home. A well construction Throughout! Decks,(that surround our pool) hard wood flloors, Huge windows,, Kitchens etc...CT Renovations does a Grand job at everything! I would not even give them one star if the sight would allow. John was hired to refinish our wood floors. No plastic was used to close off the kitchen or to at least cover the counters and furniture. The metal railings were thrown on my leather couch damaging it, doors were left open in other rooms that were not locked and dust has covered every item in our house. The floors were not sanded completely, especially in closets. Polyurethane was applied over sawdust left on floors esp along heaters and in the closets. The risers on steps that he said would be done were left and covered in dust and drips of polyurethane over the dust. When I called to ask John why nothing was covered and why metal rails were thrown on my couch, he responded if you didn't want it damaged why did you leave it there. Very unprofessional. I took pictures of the damage to the couch and house and hope to have them sent to the State so you as the consumer can make a well informed decision for yourself. Finally, John took our copy of the contract that was on the counter, which makes me wonder how many times has this happened and does he take back the contracts when they are left out hoping there will be no recourse.

I dont leave reviews very often but when I find a business that does amazing work and does it with the utmost professionalism I feel there is a need to let people in on a great company such as CT Renovations and construction. John and his crew went above and beyond the scope of the work I paid for. I've hired more than a few carpenters in my days but none of them have matched up to CT Renovations. I have a kitchen still to do and a bathroom I've already placed the call to John and there will be nobody but CT Renovations doing my work. If your in the need of work definitely give them a call and I know you'll be more than pleased with the results

I hired Jon to do a renovation in my home about 7 months ago. I found Jon to be very knowledgeable and respectful. My bathroom that he renovated came out so beautiful and I receive compliments all the time. I would recommend Jon to any home owner looking for work to be done.

I WANTED to hire this company for a water damage job. Jon gave me a very high estimate and it didn't work out.
We dont even have a contract as we didn't go pass the estimate phase and he sent me a bill!!! Now he is threatening to put a lien on my house. I would never hire a bully! Unprofessional and overpriced!

We hired Jon to renovate our kitchen installing new cabinets, removal of a wall to create a beautiful breakfast bar and finishing work including ceramic tiling back splash. Jon and his team renovated a fixer upper lake cottage and turned it into a beautiful home. The team added a 20x20 family room, a large deck and basement and renovated the kitchen, bedroom and a horrible bathroom into 1 1/2 baths. The team worked with us to retain the 'charm' of the cottage yet updated it so it was up to code, safe and looking beautiful. There was a twist at each stage of renovation because of the original condition of the lake house but the team remained positive and the quality and workmanship is what made the end result so special. We couldn't be happier with our home and highly recommend Jon and his team.
