Water Damage Restoration reviews in East Windsor, Connecticut

Update after company's response: I wasn't asking for a quote on the entire repair. I understand no one can see through walls or see any damage that may or may not be present with out further disassembly. I wanted a printed report of the findings and recommendations to move forward, which I was willing to pay for, to help me progress with the repairs and all I heard about was how I didn't need that and that they were busy with insurance claims regarding water damage. I'm sure their work is great but they weren't willing to work for me.
I hate to say this but all they are interested in is a big insurance claim payout.
I had a new roof by another contractor with a water leak and interior damage... I contacted Servpro for advice and an independent and experienced perspective, and an inspection/quote. I offered to pay, they repeatedly declined. They came out took photos, measurements, said they'd reach out in a couple days. Everyone was very friendly however they didn't reach out for about 2 weeks. And then refused to offer any report of findings at all. Once insurance wasn't involved they had no interest. Again, despite me offering to pay at every stage of the discussion and process and being extremely transparent... Disappointed to say the least.

horrible service poor communication. Use Scare tactics to get you into signing contract but can't complete the job. House has been at a stand still for 3 months. taking on too many jobs but can't complete. Stay away.

I cant sya enough, servpro saved my basement. We weren't covered by insurance so servpro did everything they could to keep the price down and delivered excellent service. Highly reccomend.

This Servpro was a lifesaver when I needed them. I had a terrible flood and was having tons of anixety about it. Tony eased my mind and helped me sooo much. They cleaned everything up and it was seamless.

Toni and his team help me out on my fathers home. They were great to work with Toni was knowledgeable and worked with my insurance company.

Servpro had a great group do the clean up our basement when it flooded, they were there timely and eased any worry- however we used their "Sister" company Seneca to complete the restoration hoping for the same experience as i was 30+weeks pregnant and working full time we thought it would be great for them to assist with insurance company etc. however the job was poor, low quality carpet (only brought 2 samples to show me), poor ceiling repair even though it was just painting around a ceiling fan, and the biggest issue was very poor poor project management skills, never knew when the crew would be there, called last minute to cancel, never replied to email concerns and instead would just call or show up, and better yet didn't fully complete the project and have not heard from them since March- it turns July and their looking for payment which is all fine and well but i would still like to speak with a manager about my displeasure, after several asks to speak to a manager they refused to have one calls us and instead offered to waive the "interest"- excuse me?! interest on a job that was not completed, no communication or calls from them in months, not even a request for payment? Still told them we are happy to pay however still need a manager to speak to as we have yet to hear from one to express our concerns- never again, never again.

Updating review. I was able to speak with a manager to express our concern with the lack of communication with the project manager. He heard us, understood and apologized for the issues we dealt with. Thank You Toni for reaching out. I updated to a 3 because otherwise the projects were done well and rather quickly (minus the unfinished part as Covid hit). However as a professional communication is key.
Also in regards to the response on here from the team, this was work prior to covid & there were several emails to the project manager in regards to my concerns, he would rather show up then reply in email unfortunately, however I did respond with our discussion each time.

I called this company from a recommendation from my insurance company after another Servpro butchered my basement. Victor first came out on a Saturday, checked everything out, told me a game plan and had his team out the following Monday. The guys they sent out couldn't have been better. My water issue is fixed and I am hiring Servpro of Windsors to do the repairs. Thanks guys!

When our hot water heater blew. Servpro came in the same day and cleaned up our basement. We are very happy with the team Jose and Vic we're great! I would definitely use them again

These guys are great! The entire operation was professional, responsive, and effective despite difficult conditions and it being the Christmas holiday season. From the top down, everyone at ServPro was friendly and took the time to explain issues, present solutions, and listen to concerns. ServPro followed through with their services until the end of the project in a pro-active manner. We were back in our house in time for Christmas and were able to relax knowing they were providing support until the problem was solved!

SERVPRO of the Windsors was absolutely amazing. My family recently had a house fire which for us was extremely devastating, but SERVPRO took on the burden of handling everything for us even things outside their scope of work! They truly go above and beyond for their customers! The crew they had helping us our was very professional, insightful and educated they really know what they were doing. Not all ServePro’s are alike, and I was very fortunate to have chosen ServePro of the Windsors. Within an hour of my home being flooded (non- weather) Tony sent a 2 man crew to rip up existing flooring and wet vac entire damage including basement. They left many powerful blowers in my upstairs as well as in my basement as to not allow mold to take hold. Tony also sent a project manager that same evening to assure us that all our water damage concerns were addressed and informed us of the next steps in this process. Although it was tough getting through the many construction phases, the end result was truly worth it. Tony pays attention to detail and addresses any of your concerns. He is prompt to return calls and his knowledge of working closely with Insurance companies is a plus for the homeowner. He fights to get you the restoration your home needs and deserves. Tony also has connections to excellent contractors, he suggested a local company, Morrell Cabinets and my kitchen came out amazing! He suggested J&C flooring and I couldn’t be happier with the hardwood flooring. What began as a nightmare, quickly turned into a work in progress and the end result is heartwarming, because ServePro of the Windsors treats you like family. His employees are wonderful to work with, I hope you have the opportunity to meet Luis, Victor and a few other hard working employees I had the pleasure of having in my home.
