The staff members at Homestead Comfort are first rate. They performed an energy efficiency assessment at our home in a most comprehensive manner. They did not miss a thing! Afterwards, we were given recommendations on improving our efficiency that was honest and reasonable. We accepted their suggestions and had follow up work which was done to perfection! I highly recommend this company!

Dan was great. He came in and installed a valve and hammer arrestor and was out quickly. Overall time it took was reasonable.

Gabriel was professional, easy to deal with, polite, knowledgeable etc.
I was pleased with his work and would not hesitate to use his services again.

Tyler from Homestead Comfort did an excellent job identifying and repairing a pin hole leak in our heating system. He did a fantastic job repairing a pipe behind the wall with minimal damage to the wall. When he was finished his cleanup was superb.

Homestead has been our home heating oil, heating system installers and maintenance/repair company since 1999 and would not do business with any other company. Super happy and impressed how Justin, the Homestead Tech quickly and correctly solved the root cause of why my oil burner wasn't working. He and his assistant replaced the bad burner coupling and fine tuned the settings to get them perfect. Thank you!

Usually I don't write reviews although I must confess I do check them for every company with which I do business. We have had this oil company for over 50 years...Yes the old Imperial and now homestead, NEVER NEVER had a problem, oh yes once, before 1970 the oil man delivered the oil it was snowing and a cold night he was so tired he went back to the truck drove away and went home to sleep. Anyway around 3 am the house felt cold and after checking the tank which said empty I was convinced the gauge was not working however I called Imperial and they call the gentleman who had made the delivery earlier..he said oh goodness I didn't give them a full tank meaning to go back was so tired I parked the truck and went home. That same person was sent out and he apologized over and over and over. Got the oil in and a "nozzle" had to be changed. That was it...I have called this company all these years the reps are always professional, pleasant and efficient I can tell you as a customer they are the very BEST, this company should give lessons to some other companies regarding good customer relations

Arrived on time, quickly assessed what had to be done, did not try and over-sell or recommend unnecessary work. Work completed quickly and professionally with no mess. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone that needs plumbing services. Also use Homestead for my heating and A/C needs and have never been disappointed in their service.

Like anything else with Homestead, Bob did a great job. Fast, simple, and explained everything as he went thru it. Keep these guys busy! They are worth it!

Homestead serviced my furnace for an emergency call. Woke up to a cold house. Furnace would not turn on. They came out with in 2 hours. Dayquan was very knowledgeable and excellent. He took his time, explained his troubleshooting steps and answered all my questions. I also had a bad oil tank gauge that we determined was reason I ran out of oil. This caused the problem. Very happy with the service and I highly recommend Homestead.

Justin and Natalie both very pleasant. Arrived on time. Seemed to work efficiently (Obviously, I don’t know anything about boiler maintenance ).Left the area clean.

We had a Mitsubishi Split-Type Heating and Air Conditioner unit installed a couple of weeks ago. We were very impressed with the customer service we received from Jessie our sales rep, who spent time going over our options for the best system for us. Within a short time the work to be done was scheduled, system was installed in 2 1/2 days. We met "our" installation crew Ben, Lorenzo, and Trevor who were on time and very friendly. Ben spent the first few minutes going over the details of our system installation and explained their expected plan of each days workload. We can't say enough about the team of Ben, Lorenzo, and Trevor, they make a great crew. They were prompt, hardworking, courteous, and respectful of our home. Each day, they cleaned up any debris, boxes, packaging etc. from the job. They went over and above for sure! Thank you, Homestead team.

I would recommend Homestead to anybody after today’s service that I got. I called them up and they came out at 2 o’clock today fixed my shower for me and I was so impressed. They were so professional and made my day and I just wanna say thank you Homestead for the great job that you did today and your employee Dan was very professional and did a great job.

Their attention to detail and commitment to customer care impressed me. I highly recommend Homestead for any HVAC needs!

They will keep your bank info. I recently had a poor experience with Homestead who installed a new furnace at my homestead last year. This was my fourth furnace installation, and unfortunately, it was the worst. Less than a year I called them to come in check it, get Bill for $100 plus. I advise others to consider alternative companies that offer more comprehensive warranties and free maintenance for at least a year after installation. Better off go to facebook search for CT Contractor will be much cheaper and license.

We had Homestead Comfort install Mitsubishi mini splits in our “new” home (fully renovated 1919) house in West Hartford. It was just after the first July heat wave, which we suffered through, and we were pretty desperate for the job to be completed before the arrival of the 2nd major July heat wave. They did not disappoint.

Spencer was our sales rep who wrote up the proposals on what options we had. He was thorough and kept on top of the project from beginning to end.

Mike was the on site technician who managed the project and gave us last minute advice on the best placement of the four mini splits. We had purchased a condenser to allow 4 but had only ordered 3, thinking we’d decide later if we needed a fourth one.

Instead on the day of installation, he advised us about air flow and cooling, and recommended we purchase and install a 4th unit, which he was absolutely correct about. It was excellent advice. Thankfully, he was able to get it delivered to the house within hours.

He told me from the beginning that he cared about aesthetics and my husband and I do too. He and his crew did a tremendous job figuring out how to make the wiring work through original thick walls and very small ceiling spaces and all of it is covered up beautifully. Outside you cannot tell it isn’t original to the design of the house. They all did an excellent job over two full days.

And Toni, the office install scheduling manager pulled off a miracle as the scope of the project grew. She was able to assign two additional technicians to the job to assist Mike’s crew and ensure the job could be completed by Friday evening, so we would have A/C over the weekend. We did in time for the arrival of the heatwave.

We highly recommend Homestead. They gave us good advice and very good service. And a nice cool house to enjoy. With a condenser that’s virtually noiseless.

We just had a wonderful experience with Homestead. After having a day without heat and realizing there was an issue, we started calling a bunch of companies to come out and check our boiler. I kept getting told it’s a busy time of year by other companies and Homestead was the only one that was able to see us the same day. Their technician, Jason, was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend him and this company to anyone who needs any of the services they offer. 10/10

You be the judge. I had a small plumbing repair and wanted to support local contractors (replace a wax seal on a toilet which was weeping). I called homestead and booked an appointment and provided my CC for a $99 (fee for booking the appt). I thought the $99 charge was odd but hey things change. I inquired on a budgetary figure to replace a wax seal, I was told by there “service manager” wax seal $~300. Ok fine book it. Tech shows up, looks at toilet goes back to truck to create an invoice and present me with one over $600! Please understand this is a $10 retail cost wax seal. Bait and switch you be the judge. They still charged
me the $99. Hoping other prospective customers see this and think twice before they fall for this. I sent Homestead on there way. On a positive note, the tech was pleasant and quite honestly put into a uncomfortable situation no fault of his.

Tyler came to my house to repair piping in the wall of our Shower mixer valve pipes. He also serviced our water softener. He was very warm, friendly and kind. He was kind to the dogs and very professional. I always trust Tyler to do the work even when I’m not here at the house and he finishes a job and leaves the house impeccable.

Chris arrived 10 minutes before scheduled time. Promptly introduced himself. Reviewed the environment and promptly went to work. Very cordial and professional at the same time. It was obvious that he knew his job and my environment. I would love to have Chris come back at my next annual appointment.
