We renovated our kitchen/dining area recently with Häcker Kitchens, Greenwich. We are all thrilled with our new dream kitchen. Our house is in the historic district in Providence (RI), built in 1920. We opened a wall between the kitchen and dining room to make an open kitchen- dining area.
Maya Nair was our designer and she did an absolutely amazing job.
She designed the kitchen, suggested the color scheme and also helped pick out Miele appliances.
She was there for every step of the way, even driving from Greenwich (CT) to our house in Providence (RI) for all critical steps during the renovation.
This was more than we had expected, and we really appreciated her commitment to the project. We highly recommend Maya and her team.

From the very first meeting, we knew Maya was someone special. She has a calm, confident presence that immediately put us at ease, and it was clear from the start that her expertise in kitchen design runs deep. Over the many months we worked together, she became not only a vendor but a trusted advisor and collaborator. We thought our plan was complete, yet she surprised us with thoughtful variations that greatly influenced the overall design of our renovation and challenged us to take risks with the interiors. It felt like we had an interior designer on the team as she thoughtfully considered the whole project, not just the kitchen and bar.

The product itself is in a class of its own. Before moving forward, we evaluated all of the major high-end Italian and German kitchen brands. Häcker stood out as both stunning and brilliantly functional. Every detail reflects thoughtful design. The channels, for example, are beautifully lit and sized so even large hands can comfortably open doors and drawers, details that are often overlooked elsewhere. For us, the kitchen had to serve as both a striking showpiece and a true working chef’s kitchen, and Häcker achieved that balance flawlessly.

What impressed us just as much as the product was the process. Everything happened exactly as promised. The schedule was kept, every change was accommodated without issue, the price never shifted, and installation was smooth from beginning to end. Maya and her team were on site every single day during installation, overseeing every detail. That level of dedication and accountability is virtually unheard of in this industry.

The end result is a kitchen that has exceeded every expectation; precise, beautiful, and functional in equal measure. We have zero hesitation recommending Häcker, Maya, and her incredible team for the highest-end kitchen renovations. Working with them was one of the best decisions we made in our entire project!

We did a major kitchen renovation in 2021 and had zero experience going into the process. After weeks of looking at every conceivable cabinet line, we settled on Hacker as the style that most clearly embodied what we were looking for--clean lines, modern approach and fully functional for a family with 4 kids. After some research, we were not only thrilled to find Maya--the company's representative in the US--but amazed that she designed kitchens in the DC area.

From the first phone call, she immediately got us and what we were looking for. For people with a vision/taste but little practical experience, she guided us in our choices--making the process understandable and giving us recommendations where she knew what we wanted wasn't going to look right. She was the perfect balance of being supportive but also allowing us the benefit of her experience.

After the ordering, Maya really took charge of communicating with the contractors--countertop, hacker and installers--and just took so much stress out of the process for us. She wasn't satisfied until every measurement was perfect and every checklist item had been addressed to our satisfaction.

Sitting here in our new kitchen, I can't believe how amazing everything came out and we couldn't have done it without Maya.

We contracted with Maya at Hacker Kitchens Greenwich in February to build our dream kitchen. She had great reviews and can travel anywhere.
Maya is very, very, very precise and careful. Measurements are to 1/16 of an inch and we were thrilled. You will never find anyone like her. She is an engineer, designer and an architect.
If you want your kitchen done fast and cheap; go somewhere else.
If you want it done just once and beautifully; make an appointment with Maya.
I have done 5 kitchens over my life and this was by far the best one.
A few things you should know regarding a total redo of a kitchen like we did.
1-The process will take time, probably longer than you think, and you can not rush it
2-It will cost more than you think for crazy things you will pick out later in the process. I just spent $112 for special electrical faceplates on Amazon because they were gorgeous.
Hacker Kitchens is responsible for cabinets, appliances (which are frequently incorporated into the cabinets), backsplash and countertops. You may need a general contractor for specialities like electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc. She may be able to help with recommendations or I would be happy to share names of the professionals that I used in the NY, CT area.

Finally!!! We have our dream kitchen! We vetted several kitchen designers and looked into many different cabinet makers/style (only European) and stumbled upon Hacker Greenwich. From the beginning, we felt at home with the warm reception from Theresa. We informed Theresa of what we were looking for and she walked us through cabinet styles and countertops. From this point, we knew this would be a wonderful collaboration as we were listened to from the start. Then, Maya!! We met Maya at our house and it took a few minutes for her to lay out the design based on the space and at this point, we knew our dream will come through. Maya also listened to our wants and was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process. It was a collaborative effort from the beginning which we really appreciated. After initial layout onsite, Maya later presented a design for our kitchen, walk-in pantry and laundry room that is absolutely exquisite. Hacker Greenwich's cabinet installers were also very skilled. We are very happy with the outcome and would 100% recommend Hacker Greenwich.
