Landscaping reviews in Ledyard, Connecticut

Have been using Zach's business for a few years. They do an excellent fall clean up of a huge number of leaves. It always looks great. Used them also for brush clean up and re-seeding of much of the lawn, which looks great now. Also used for snow plowing, and they have been punctual and efficient. Have been very happy with the work over these last few year.

Zack and team truly love what they do and it shows. They pay great attention to detail and getting the job done right.
When you are going to be looking at your landscaping for years to come, it is important to get it right. Spicer's Lawn Care & Landscape Design are the people to do just that. We highly recommend them.

Zack and his crew did a major clean out and landscape of our property. The result is amazing. They worked so hard in the heat and were pleasant and respectful. The work they did has prevented damage to the house from overgrown brush. I would recommend Spicer's Lawn Care to anyone.

Highly recommend for a professional, prompt service. Communicated quickly and got the job done perfectly. Great contractors are hard to come by. Spicer is one of them.

A job very well done. I am impressed with this company. They listened to my landscape needs, then hit the ground fast and efficient. They used teamwork, experience, modern equipment, and attention to detail here at my waterfront property. Spicer went above and beyond my expectations. The place looks better than ever 👍 thank you Zack.

Once again Zach and crew did a super job on leaf removal. Have used him for several years. He responds quickly, fairly priced and does great work. Highly recommend him for all lawn or landscaping work.

I called for an estimate to cut down some bushes and he was here in 20 minutes! Gave me an estimate on the spot, $1000 less than the other I’d gotten, and was here with a crew just a few days later. They were quick, did a great job, and cleaned up all the many leftover branches and leaves. My yard looks great and I saved a ton of time and money. If we weren’t moving out of state I’d have them handle all my lawn care from now on!

They did an awesome job removing leaves from our yard. It looks so much better.

This is the second time we have had work done by Zack. We had old, overgrown plantings torn out and new ones put in their place. Zack listened to our needs and made helpful suggestions. He and his workers were very responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. We were very pleased with the results and would highly recommend.

Zac was an absolute pleasure at my house. Not only did he show up on time, but he worked with another contractors schedule on a Sunday to get the job done. Many people have complemented how perfectly level my yard is now after his excavation job. Would definitely hire again. Thanks!

Zack is a real stand up guy! Very professional and does the job right! I’m new to the area and hadn’t yet gotten my New England standard issue snow blower. Zack was quick to respond and made sure I could remain connected with the outside world! It was only a driveway plow this time, but I will definitely keep Zack in mind for future jobs! Great service & quality!

I called Spicer's Lawn Care & Lanscaping today ... Zach is a HERO!!
This is my 1st time needing his services... thankfully he can handle snow based emergencies after the snow fall!!
Unexpectedly, my oil delivery driver refused to deliver oil due to 2 inches of snow/ice in my driveway even though I salted ... didn't even know that was a thing & I've owned this house 30+ years!!!
Zach came to put additional sand down to remedy my situation IMMEDIATELY! :-)
Spicer's Lawn Care & Lanscaping (AND snow removal services) moving forward, they will always be the company I refer. I'm always glad to support a long time family based LOCAL company!
He treated me with respect like i was a neighbor and came out same day to take care of everything (so hard to find these days)!
I appreciate your services... thank you so much :-)

I reached out to Zach initially to quote some landscaping. He was prompt, responsive, and gave me a quote for both landscaping service as well as grading and adding gravel to my driveway. I ended up hiring him for the driveway on its own. And he did a wonderful job! Let me know the price, timeline, and communicated every step of the way. I would recommend him for anyone else looking for reliable and reasonable service

Zack and his lawncare team did an excellent job redoing my front steps and walkways. They are fast and efficient! Beautifully done. I have already had several compliments on how nice they look. Will definitely recommend them to everyone that asks “who did it?”. 😁

Zack’s crew did a great job installing a retaining wall, leveling and reseeding the lawn. They worked hard to get the job done on time and did quality work. It was a pleasure working with Zack and his crew.

Zach and his team are top notch! They were here within the week and made our lovely landscaped new home clean and healthy again. Previous owner was a master gardener yet it lacked the TLC it previously had. Zach saw what was needed to bring it back to its original splendor. The attention to detail was first rate. Highly recommend SPICER Landscaping.

I have had Spicer do my yard cleanup for the past 5 years or so. My town has no pickup services, and layers of pine needles and leaves are heavy and hard to dispose of. Zack and his crew do an exceptional job. I highly recommended them for any work you need done on your property.

Looked around and found these guys after surfing the web for landscapers around my area. Took some pictures, sent over, and was quoted a really competitive price for all the work I needed done to include: removing vines creeping up my home, pulling out a massive bush on the front of my house, and giving my lawn a much needed trim just to name a few. These guys are stellar in every aspect! Would highly recommend

I used Spicers for a project at my elderly parents house in Preston, CT. Zack was very professional and his quote was reasonable.

Moreover he went above and beyond the scope of work which (to me) illustrates his pride in his work. And he would not take more money even though he very much deserved it!

I will be using Spicer's all the time from now and I HIGHLY recommend you do to!

Zack and his team did a fantastic job on my yard! I had moved in a year ago and due to lack of time, I wasn’t able to keep up with my yard needs not to mention it was completely dug up for a septic replacement. During the initial walk through, Zack provided his knowledge and advice on how to make my yard better. Not only did they provide a fall clean up but they provided landscape work to give my house a little more curb appeal. I’ll definitely hire Zack and his team for more yard projects.

I highly recommend Spicer’s Lawn Care & Landscape Design. I needed a large shrub cut back for access to some chimney work. On extremely short notice, Zack came to my rescue. He did an extraordinary job on the never pruned 35 year old shrub! Thank you Zack and crew. I’ll be calling again soon!
