Very professional service, did needed maintenance on my generator and adjusted the propane level so my fireplace would work properly. Will call on them again.

Slow service, expensive, very very rude dispatcher / customer service. We got a different local company and heard from a neighbor they had the same experience with Newington Electric... Over priced too

I had an emergency and they told me it would be I think a little over $200 for the first hour. I thought ok, maybe I'll wait for regular service well guess what, they charge not much less per hour than the emergency. I went with another company that not only did they not charge me for coming, but they didn't charge me at all, yet anyways because it was a matter of a circuit breaker that I wasn't aware I had. Won't be Newington electric's customer anymore.

They went the extra mile, for a new client at the last minute! Hard to find any company that will go an extra…..anything these days! They helped with outside electrical work. Really appreciate Newington Electric. Thanks everyone for lowering my anxiety during my renovation, which has been overwhelming at times.

Unhelpful in an electric emergency. Charged us for a whole days work, accomplished absolutely nothing, left and told us it was an external problem.
They never followed up, we had to get a different company that was WAY better and SO MUCH cheaper. The new company had also heard similar stories about Newington!

Just wanted to thank Phil and April at Newington Electric for helping us out this past Tuesday morning.
Power went out on my elderly mother's home and her generator kicked on as usual. When power was restored to the grid, the generator turned off, but no electricity to the home. EverSourse came and determined the house had power going to it and the issue was with the transfer switch.
Called the Emergency number, which directed us to the team at Newington Electric. April directed me how to turn on the generator manually, so Mom could have power until the tech arrived. Phil personally came out and determined a small issue with the switch and mom was back on the grid in a few minutes.
All these events took place between 4 and 6am, mind you!
I'm so glad we had them install and commision mom's generator. Top notch people, who actually care for their customers!

They dismissed me when I called at night, told me no one could come, (we had no heat in 35 degree weather) for my electric going out, sent someone in the morning who took 7 hours and charged over $700.00 to tell me the electric is fine, it's a (very obvious to him) disconnection at the pole, it took 7 hours to find.? Really? If everything looked fine for 7 hours, it took that long to look outside? Seriously, over 7 hours and over 700.00 $ to say electric inside is fine, you are disconnected outside. And then I had to request an appropriate receipt which states nothing was done!! Beware people!!!

Newington Electric did an excellent job communicating with me prior to their visit. The electrician seemed to do a very nice job, was friendly and professional, left the place clean and the final bill was slightly under the estimate we were provided with.

Very pleased with all their services. Completely rewired and brought up to code our obsolete kitchen (2 yrs ago); and last month upgraded our service to 200amp and installed a EV charger. Very professional. (And some years ago also installed a gas generator ... also well done).

We used Newington Electric for a same-day emergency service. They were extremely accommodating, reasonably priced (Aiello quoted us $1,800 for a job they completed for under $300), transparent with their pricing (Aiello refused to give a quote over the phone unless escalated to a manager), and got here hours earlier than what they originally quoted. Phil was very pleasant on the phone and very responsive too. All in all a wonderful experience – will be going back to Newington Electric for any and all future needs! Thank you for making a very expensive day more palatable!
