I am blown away by the professionalism and attention to detail of the Savatree team. We had a large tree care/pruning project done on our property and we are very satisfied with the results. Our arborist Brandon & the entire crew were highly skilled & communicated well re the details of the project throughout. A shout out to the office staff (Roxanna) as well. I highly recommend Savatree! You won’t be disappointed.

This is my second experience with SavATree for tree removal- and each time the team has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond our expectations completing the work.

Our arborist was Chris Evans was extremely knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. He helped us to assess the trees on the property and rank priorities for removal focusing on safety and tree health. Ultimately we needed to have two very large dead trees removed that were close to our house (and overhung our driveway). The job was complicated because of the size and condition of the trees, and of course the physical location. The trees required special equipment to take down, and we wanted the dead wood removed, all requiring special coordination- on top of the backlog of work in the tree business these days. At the end of the day though, as a customer, it all seemed very seamless which is a huge credit to Chris, the crew and the company.

The removal itself was done in an exceptionally professional manner and we could not be happier. Frankly- it is basically like the trees were never there, can't get much better than that! Credit goes to the fantastic crew- Bernardo, Roberto, Reynaldo and Giovanni. They operated quickly and most importantly safely to take down two challenging dead trees on top of some other cleanup work.

Can't thank Chris and the crew enough, really great job! Would definitely recommend the company (in particular Chris, Bernardo, Roberto, Reynaldo and Giovanni) to anyone. Their pricing is reasonable and spelled out up front, they are prompt and they do an awesome job- you really can't ask for more than that!

The lawn care program has been fantastic for my lawn. Our graas is the healthiest its ever been.
Briana is a great technician/applicator. She is thoughtful and keeps me informed on any potential issues and always leaves behind a service report which is handy to have.

Chris Evans from SavATree has been our arborist for many years. He knows everything about our trees and we appreciate the relationship that he has built with us. He takes the time to explain his recommendations in person, then follows up with an emailed quote. There is never any pressure to accept any or all of the suggestions. The crew always does a good job and we are happy with the results.

Can't say enough good things about my experience with SavATree. We noticed many of the trees ( Arborvitae, fruit, Dogwoods and Japanese Maples ) in our yard were looking a little sickly. Scheduled a quick consultation with Chris. He noticed immediately what the issues were and put together a reasonable but thorough proposal that day. Within a few days The SavATree team started work on our trees applying ArborKelp, fertilizer and horticultural oil treatments. Our trees have never looked more healthy. You will be in great hands with this knowledgeable and friendly team!

I appreciate the lawn care from SavATree and love my rep, Briana. The services are really personalized to the property and are so much more than scheduled applications without thought to what is actually needed. Briana is always kind and willing to discuss what is being applied, what I should or should not be doing and any suggestions for success. Overall, we had a great experience with Michael, our arborist who came to our home. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with valuable advice on how to take care of the trees on our property. He took the time to thoroughly assess our entire property and gave us recommendations based on his expertise and we feel confident in following his suggestions. We tried many other arborists in the area and none of them were concerned with saving the trees - they all just wanted to cut them down!!

Michael at Save A Tree has been taking care of our trees and our plantings for over 10 years now. He is honest, offers fair prices, and provides expert arborist advice. SavATree recently helped us remove a number of trees from our property. Chris, our arborist, was an awesome partner in the process with my husband. The crew that came out was great at well. They went above and beyond to do what we needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work. We have also used them for tick protection, which has also always been good and reliable work.

We just moved from Brooklyn to Norwalk a few months ago, and both our neighbors (right and left) had their trees crashing on their house or car... Kinda freaked us out, and so to avoid such incident from happening to us - we started our market research, and getting some quotes. When Chris came in - that's it, it clicked. Such a great guy, easy to communicate and schedule with, he was punctual, funny, explained the process patiently.. and apparently he used to service the previous owner of our property! (: He gave us the best quote, his guys showed up even earlier to arrange permission from the neighbors for proper and safe access, they worked efficiently and left the crime scene clean and tidy (; I definitely recommend you check them out.

Punctual, responsive, friendly office staff, knowledgeable arborists, excellent crew, impressed by how precisely the crew was maneuvering a remote lift through a very small entrance with inches to spare into the backyard to trim branches on a non-climbable tree. 5 stars all around for this company.

TLDR
Pro: reduced mosquitoes, ticks, and killed crabgrass

Con: did not reseed grass once crabgrass was killed. Resulted in a spotty bare lawn.

We called weedman inquiring about a lawncare plan to remove our crabgrass and then reseed the lawn to regrow grass. Although we paid for a plan before anyone actually saw our lawn we trusted the company. Midsummer once the crabgrass was gone we asked the team when they would reseed and they told us during the fall.

In September we called Weedman about timing to reseed and they told us it would be an additional $1,200 to reseed the lawn on top of what we already paid them. This was extremely disappointing as we felt like this was too much after we already paid them to do it. So we ended up doing it ourselves.

Because the delivered on the insect repellent and removal of crab grass we won't rate them lower, but be sure you arr clear with them what you want and what the results will be.
