Reviews of local pros in Somers, Connecticut

Shout out to Barry Forrest and the entire crew. You removed several trees from my neighbors yard and mine. Your crew couldn’t have been more professional. Not one branch was left behind on either the ground or remaining trees. Highly recommend you to anyone.

Great all around! So professional.

Great job! Had 4 tree’s taken down. Two gentlemen came, on time I should add. They placed large mats on the grass so their equipment wouldn’t wreck the yard. Price was good. I would recommend them for sure!

We recently called Mountain Tree Service to remove a very large oak tree (140 feet tall) which had been damaged in previous storms. The tree was leaning significantly toward our home.

The professional manner in which they worked was amazing to watch. From the setup to protect the lawn from the heavy equipment to the final clean up, including blowing woodchips off the roof, the whole crew worked in a coordinated way to efficiently remove the tree. This is the third time we have used them and highly recommend Mountain Tree Service.

Happy to say we are repeat customers. Barry is a pleasure to work with - he's responsive in his initial response, answering any questions / concerns and truly listens to what the homeowners are requesting. He follows up with scheduling and his crew is amazing. The work is top notch and the cleanup is above and beyond.

Great people with reasonable prices!
A local business with integrity, and respect to you and your property.

I am so pleased with the work done by Mountain Tree Service and highly recommend them.

Great work! They left my yard cleaner than it was before they got here!! Highly recommend!

I used to take trees down for a living years ago and if you have a company that actually knows how to take trees down professionally, you do NOT need to shut down an entire road to be able to do it and it's sad that they have much better equipment than I used to use, and they STILL find the need to shut down an entire road.

Wonderful, amazing job, and quick. I'm still amazed at what a great job they did. Great price to!!!

Team arrived on time. Very pleasant, hard working, and did exactly what I’d asked for in pruning my fruit trees. Highly recommend them.

Barry and his team provided a detailed quote, performed quality work, and cleaned up as if they were never there. Would highly recommend.

They just completed a job for me taking down three huge white pines. They did more than I expected them to do, I am very pleased. Top notch company.

Forest and Phil are currently doing an amazing job cutting our tree. A crazy tree that I thought was going to leave a mess but Forest was brilliantly talented to get it all in one pile🤯 👏 Highly recommend Moutain Tree Service

Work was professional and timely. Attention to detail was exemplary. I've used the company twice now and would highly recommend them. Clean up went above and beyond.

I have been watching two men cutting down trees at Woodside Park and I have never seen 2 men work so hard and efficient as these guys. They are so impressive. I have seen other companies that need five men to do the work of these two men. Excellent work !!!

Owner came out and gave me a cash quote for some trimming and to get rid of dangerous branches just hanging there. Said he'd be back in 2-3 weeks to do it. After a month went by I called and talked to a woman who took my info and said she'd figure out what was going on. That was a week ago. No phone call no update.

Great guys. Very clean work. These guys came out to my house quickly, removed the tree quickly and very clean with no damage to my lawn or any other structures. Highly recommend.

Barry estimated our project and came out twice since I changed my mind about the scope. He was patient and friendly. Then Forrest and his team worked efficiently and did everything promised. I'd use them again.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you -- Barry, in particular -- for rescuing my cat this morning. As he and I briefly discussed, Barry may not seem like a hero in the grand scheme of things, but in our eyes what he did today fit the description of a hero to a T. Paris (the stranded cat) used up one of her nine lives today, and it is only because of Barry that she has any lives left in her account. Thank you so much, from the entire Mancini family.

Great tree service, had a very large pine tree in a tight spot needing to be cut down, they were able to get their equipment in there and do the job. The crew was very nice, worked quickly and they did the job well and price was reasonable, I would recommend them to anyone who needs any trees cut big or small.
