Our backyard had a major slope that was hard to work with, so we called Charlie at Sullivan & Son. He designed and built a retaining wall that not only stabilized the yard but also looks incredible. The natural stone finish blends beautifully with the landscaping. Charlie explained every step of the process and made sure we were completely satisfied. It’s a total game-changer for how we use the space.

Charlie and his team have been maintaining our yard for the past year, and they’re absolutely dependable. They handle everything from mowing to edging and pruning. What I appreciate most is their attention to detail—our flower beds are always neatly trimmed, and they even take care to avoid damaging delicate plants. Our yard has never looked this consistently well-kept. Their crew is friendly and respectful too.

Sullivan & Son transformed our entire yard. First Charlie and his team re-graded the yard to flatten it out. They added a stone retaining wall for support, before building out a paver patio. The work on it is fantastic. And then we added a firepit which makes it an awesome spot for hosting. It was a big project so we were nervous about how it might turn out, but Charlie was great to deal with the whole way, and we’re just blown away by the finished product.

We recently used Sullivan Land Management to renovate our back patio and walkway. We are extremely pleased with the results. They did an excellent job. We were also impressed by the punctuality of his staff. They arrived on time daily and finished the job in the estimated time with barely any hiccups. They left our property in excellent condition and were very responsive to all of our questions while the work was being done. The only small concern was that there was an error in the original quote for pricing we had agreed to. However, it was quickly resolved and Charlie was excellent at communicating that since we wanted to make our patio larger than he originally quoted, it would cost more. We understood and appreciated that he didn’t start the work until we gave the OK to do so. His entire team was very professional and friendly. It seems they are all very happy while working as well. In fact, I noticed one day while I was home from work that they stop mid day to all sit and have lunch together. I thought that was so nice. It seems like they genuinely enjoy the work they are doing and each other’s company. You can tell it’s a nice company to work for. I would highly recommend them to anyone for landscaping or masonry work. We will definitely be calling them in the future for more work to be done in our backyard.

We hired Sullivan & Sons after talking to a number of providers and we are so happy we did. I hd such a great experience working with Sullivan and Sons! Charlie was here within a couple of days to provide a quote for repointing my front porch and applying decorative stone on the steps. He explained the entire process from where and why they needed to cut to how they would handle the support columns holding up the porch. The team came out within that week, I think, and did an excellent job. The porch and stonework were done impeccably and you can tell they are proud of their work - as they should be! Everyone including office staff were a pleasure to deal with, their pricing is fair and transparent and Charlie even followed up a few weeks later to ask how things were holding up. I am so impressed with this company and wouldn’t hesitate to call on them again!

They were great. I’ve bid out the job for doing a pebble driveway and they were the most cost-effective and the fastest. They were very thoughtful on how to be more efficient which allowed me to get a much higher return of my investment.
