I can not speak highly enough of David Hardy. We had him to our home to access and quote a job that we had been told would be necessary. Dave's opinion and honest advice saved us thousands of dollars. It is unusual to find someone with his integrity and honesty.

Have replaced the lead flashing twice and squirrels kept eating it. They likely have brain damage from the lead (ha) Have lived in our home for 37 years and since we don't use the fireplace thought we didn't need to have it inspected or cleaned. Forgot we had a furnace that uses the chimney (duh). Dave replaced the flashing in a flash - and when I asked him to look inside he described the need to take care the falling tiles problem. Needed a new liner (I verified that fact on line). He gave a quote, did an excellent job, and also repainted the outside of the chimney because it too was suffering from the problem. He stayed within his more than reasonable quote - despite the three (at least) extra hours.... Thank you Dave.

David "whitewashed" the dated brick on my house and it looks beautiful! He used a masonry stain, not a paint, so it will last forever. Before starting the project, David painted different finish options on the side of my house, and gave me time to pick the one I liked. David is a pleasure to work with - prompt, courteous, and neat!

With plans to sell my home I learned my chimney was in bad shape. It required significant repairs. Dave and his crew did an awesome job. I am so pleased and confident in the workmanship. I am sure I will be bragging about my very safe - restored chimney when I sell my place.

Hardy’s was easily the quickest to respond to our emergency call. We had our old chimney liner crack and fall apart so there was a severe risk of carbon monoxide backing up into our house. Most other places said they wouldn’t even be able to look at it until a week later to give us an estimate but in the mean time my whole family had to pack up and stay at my parents because of the possible danger of the carbon monoxide. Hardy’s was not only able to come out same day for an assessment and estimate but they were at my house installing the new liner just a couple days later. I would still be waiting a few days for anyone else to even look at it. They were possibly literally a life saver.

Hardy’s came out to assess our chimney repointing needs and found a dangerous blockage in our furnace venting. They were able to take care of the problem quickly and safely and we were so thankful for their professional service and expertise! We would definitely recommend Hardy’s. They are professional, fair, and honest!

Our chimney was struck by lightning in July. Dave returned my call immediately and despite having several other jobs lined up, agreed to make our chimney a priority given the severity and danger of the situation. He did an outstanding job. I highly recommend.

Recently rebuilt my chimney from the roof line up. He was strait forward an honest. They did not try to sell me on repairs i didn't need. Did a beautiful job. My neighbor who watched most of the process was impressed with the workmanship that he did in making it look great. would hire him again if i had other masonry projects.

I had an emergency situation occur this morning and needed immediate attention to my chimney, as it was caving in. My house was filling up with Carbon Monoxide and I have 2 small children at home. David came over very quickly and installed a new liner in record time! He was friendly, courteous and explained everything in a patient manner. I called mr Hardy in December 2019 to evaluate my chimney for a metal liner. He did a thorough evaluation and was able to get the job done within 2 weeks! He.was very responsive when I texted or called with any questions.

The quality of work that David Hardy performed on my chimney was exceptional. New liner, new flue, and much patching including replacing a couple bricks. Feel 100% confident that this work will last many, many years. Also, very neat; no cleanup required on my end which was nice.

My furnace chimney was in bad shape with bricks crumbling off. A few years back I contacted another Chimney service and was told I needed the Chimney rebuilt from the roof up. That would have been a lot of money so I opted not to have it rebuilt at the time. The chimney was getting worse so I decided to look around and get another opinion. I found Hardy's! I contacted them and they came out the next day to check out the chimney. Dave said that it didn't need a rebuild and they could fix it. He also said it needed a liner installed. The price was resonable and they came back the next day, repaired the chimney, installed the liner and even fixed a few bricks on my fireplace chimney. After they completed the job they cleaned everything up and everything was done within 4 hours!! Great job guys. I hope this Chimney last for a long time!

I called Hardy's Masonry due to a water leak in my attic around the chimney. He promptly called back and made an appointment that day to come to my house to diagnose the problem. He gave me a proposal, answered all my questions regarding the repair, scheduled and completed the repair within 3 days. Hardy's Mason/Chimney I had them come to quote my home, they did a top notch job in sweltering heat - on time and fabulous job - looks beautiful on my house, was so please had him to one of our other houses right across the street, I plan to call him next spring to do the cleaning once we burn in it all winter . . . now that everything is safe can't wait for our first fire. I enjoyed the experience of having David Hardy repair our chimney. I had had two other companies out to recommend how to fix the problem of water somehow coming in the bottom of our chimney. If you are in the need of chimney work, David Hardy is your guy! Needed chimney liner and masonry work to close on a home. Very prompt and he explained what he was doing very thoroughly. David seemed to be very ambitious about his work and the job was priced better than other quotes I received. I would definitely use his service again.
