Nate came out and gave me a good price to remove oak branches over my home. Suggested I take care of another branch- so I wouldnt have issues in the future. Was able to take care of everything swiftly for a great price.

No hassle tree removal

I have used Sikes Tree Service a number of times and have always had outstanding service.

They told us tree hanging over our house was fine and healthy.
IT FELL on house 3 months later.

Nate made an appointment I specifically scheduled on my day off, a time he said would work for him. He called me 15 minutes after the appointment was to take place and wanted to reschedule. When I expressed my unhappiness about the fact that I stuck around all day when I could have been doing something else on my vacation day, he copped an attitude. So I hung up on him. He called me back and said he could come and then tried to give me excuses and was complaining because I gave him an attitude. I again hung up on him. Try a different company that doesn’t give you attitude and acts professionally.

Our experiences with Sikes have been first rate! Difficult trees over neighbors houses were handled with the upmost care for both properties. Clean up was always done to perfection. During the period following the Oct. ice storm, Sikes didn't gouge prices. Speaks of great corporate character.

Nate is THE BEST!!! Seems like we have called Nate every year for some work. From tree removal when first moving in, to tree removal once again due to the infamous October snowstorm with resultant stump removal needs and yearly cords of firewood. Don't go anywhere else for all things trees - he's the go to guy!

Nate and company removed two large maple trees in my front yard which were right on top of my house and power lines. He did great work at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Nate took the time to answer all of my questions both before and after his team came to the house. I was confident in his assessment of the work that needed to be done which was especially important to me since I live 3,000 miles away! I had nine very large dead, dying, leaning trees that had to go and his price was more than reasonable. When his team left, I swear there wasn't a single branch out of place. I expect to hire him again in the future.

Did a great job trimming three trees. Never came back to finish stump grinding - made multiple calls and was told later this week three times and still no show.

Poor experience, very unprofessional owner. Nate fought with his employees, literally had screaming matches in my yard with his own employees. He did not cut stumps low as promised. He did much damage to my lawn and damaged a fence on neighbors property promising to fix it but never did. He also hassled me multiple times to pay him in full well before job was finished. I finally paid him in full to get him out of my life.

Great Guy to work with very reasonable prices, and his crew does a great job. I recommend him to everyone looking for tree work!

I live in Suffield and was struggling to find a company willing to come out and help me with a big tree that fell in my yard. I called Sikes Tree and they came out right away and took care of me. The bucket operator did a great job, I was very impressed. They left my property spotless!!! 10/10 service!!

I can not speak highly enough of David Hardy. We had him to our home to access and quote a job that we had been told would be necessary. Dave's opinion and honest advice saved us thousands of dollars. It is unusual to find someone with his integrity and honesty.

Have replaced the lead flashing twice and squirrels kept eating it. They likely have brain damage from the lead (ha) Have lived in our home for 37 years and since we don't use the fireplace thought we didn't need to have it inspected or cleaned. Forgot we had a furnace that uses the chimney (duh). Dave replaced the flashing in a flash - and when I asked him to look inside he described the need to take care the falling tiles problem. Needed a new liner (I verified that fact on line). He gave a quote, did an excellent job, and also repainted the outside of the chimney because it too was suffering from the problem. He stayed within his more than reasonable quote - despite the three (at least) extra hours.... Thank you Dave.

David "whitewashed" the dated brick on my house and it looks beautiful! He used a masonry stain, not a paint, so it will last forever. Before starting the project, David painted different finish options on the side of my house, and gave me time to pick the one I liked. David is a pleasure to work with - prompt, courteous, and neat!

With plans to sell my home I learned my chimney was in bad shape. It required significant repairs. Dave and his crew did an awesome job. I am so pleased and confident in the workmanship. I am sure I will be bragging about my very safe - restored chimney when I sell my place.

Hardy’s was easily the quickest to respond to our emergency call. We had our old chimney liner crack and fall apart so there was a severe risk of carbon monoxide backing up into our house. Most other places said they wouldn’t even be able to look at it until a week later to give us an estimate but in the mean time my whole family had to pack up and stay at my parents because of the possible danger of the carbon monoxide. Hardy’s was not only able to come out same day for an assessment and estimate but they were at my house installing the new liner just a couple days later. I would still be waiting a few days for anyone else to even look at it. They were possibly literally a life saver.
