Cons ,had to call a few times... pros,we had a big tree in a in a tough place. Dunn's people had no problem taking it down. They cleaned up any mess from the tree. The workers were professional, the price was very affordable, and they were in and out in 1 1/2 hrs . We wouldn't hesitate to use Dunn's Tree Service again.

Highly recommended! They did a fantastic job limbing my trees and taking down a couple of dead ones. I live on a narrow road and as soon as they heard the recycle truck coming for trash, they quickly moved mine and two of my neighbors cans so they could be emptied and returned them to the appropriate houses. Above and beyond and very fair pricing. The work was done quickly and neatly.

Sal and his capable crew did an excellent job removing 4 large trees, cutting dead out of 3 large oaks and maneuvered their bucket truck carefully through our narrow yard and in our neighbors. Efficient, skilled, and pleasant crew worked well together. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

The team that came to remove 3 trees were outstanding. On time, well turned out, courteous and extremely professional. At all times, they had their own safety and ours in mind with their excellent Health & Safety practices. They took care to limit any disruption to our grounds to the absolute minimum. Finally, they did the job that they were here to do professionally, with courtesy to us and our neighbours (eg no unnecessary yelling), and removed all debris and tidied up impeccably.

We’ve been using Dunn’s for more than 15 years. They were just here to trim and thin five or ten trees. They cleaned up the mess after Sandy years ago - five or ten trees down! Small job or large, they do a great job. On time. Polite. Careful. Thorough cleanup. Good price. Recommend them with no reservations.

We received outstanding service from Dunn’s Tree Service, LLC! I called to get a quote to have 12 trees taken down and stumps ground, and within 24 hours they met with me to look at the job and give us the quote. They even pointed out a few branches on the remaining trees that should be cut. The day of the job the Dunn’s crew arrived bright and early with a large enough crew to get the job done quickly. The crew was very professional and polite. They were in and out in 6 hours cutting down 12 trees and grinding 14 stumps. I highly recommend Dunn’s for quality service at a reasonable price!

Sal is amazing! Very responsive! I had a HUGE UGLY pine tree in my front yard. I called 5 tree services, 4 called me back and we set up a time for a free estimate. 1 company would not touch the tree, 2 companies came in with inflated rates. When Sal came out he meet with my husband, he was nice and gave a very responsible estimate. On the day of the removal, Sal was on time, quick and clean! Thank you for amazing service! Dunn's Tree Service has, certainly, treated us RIGHT, both times, they've come & worked, for us! Sal is a GREAT guy, who does his BEST work, ALWAYS! Professionals that can handle even the most complicated tree removals. They lowered a massive hickory tree that was literally 4ft away from my house with not so much as a twig hitting the roof. They also now do stump grinding with a very cool machine. Competitively priced and seriously the best in the business. I will use Dunns tree service again!

This time was to remove five trees very close to power lines, and once again they demonstrated that they have the skills and equipment necessary to do the job well. The crew was outstanding! Dunn's Tree Service LLC is an outstanding company to do business with. Very prompt, fare pricing and, outstanding work. Sal came out and viewed my job, made a few suggestions presented me with an on the spot estimate and was able to do the job the same day.

I lucked out here because, he happened to have his team working on a job in the area at the time of my estimate. The guys were very professional and the clean-up afterwards was outstanding. I am in the process of having Sal and his team remove three more trees from the property.

They did a great job and were the best price out of three quotes we got. They were super quick with their work, friendly, and professional. They left everything clean and tidy.

We got 3 estimates: the first one didn't have equipment that could go high enough, the second person never followed up, and Sal, who gave our 3rd estimate from Dunn's came in with the lowest estimate that included some extra removal of dead branches from other nearby trees. His crew did an amazing job. They were fast, cleaned up and left the yard looking better than when they arrived, they were very pleasant, respectful, we have absolutely nothing negative to say and would highly recommend them for tree service. We also purchased split cord wood from them for a very good price and the wood looks really good.

Outstanding work from start to finish. The team responded quickly to provide an estimate, and their pricing was more competitive than others I considered. They were also very thoughtful—calling 30 minutes before arriving, just as promised, so I could let my dogs out ahead of time. The crew was professional, punctual, and worked efficiently, and they left the area spotless after completing the tree removal. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dunn’s Tree Service again in the future.

Some trouble communicating over the phone but very professional and great value

On March 21 we had Dunn's remove a tree from our front yard. They did all the limbing and hauled away the small stuff, cut up the larger stuff and dropped the trunk. When done, the machine was used to grind the stump.

While this was happening, rocks were hitting our windows and siding. No one on the crew seemed to recognize this, so I asked Sal to re-orient the grinding machine. Turns out all they needed to do was lower the guard over the top of the device. Our agreement was to grind the stump and all exposed roots to a normal, below-ground level for a typical grinding. There was a large pile of wood from the tree and a large pile of debris from the grinding. No one checked the job to ensure the job was done satisfactorily. Turns out the exposed roots were not touched and remained exposed.

I called Sal a few times to arrange for the completion of the work per our agreement, and after a few misses, the job was done today while my wife and I were not available. There's a large pile of debris as expected so I don't know yet if the roots are all gone, but nothing was cleaned up and there was debris, including throwing-size rock all over my driveway and walkway. Obviously the guard was left up again during the grind. I used a blower and broom to do their cleanup work to reveal damage to my driveway in two places. I can only speculate since I wasn't home while the job was done (which we specifically asked for), but it appears to be from the gate on the trailer for the grinding machine.

The tree removal and cleanup was done well and I'd recommend them for this service. I cannot recommend them for any type of grinding as they do not pay attention to built-in safety features, and they don't cleanup any mess they make. Buyer beware or at least be present and stay on top of it!

I want to be fair, since there was a lot they did really well, but also some downsides to be honest about

First, the good: They did the main job quickly and efficiently. Sal is very friendly and easy to work with, and they got our large dying (but still green) Norway maple down without damaging the trellis, saplings, or seedlings around it. Arrived early and finished quickly. Left the wood on property as agreed (for lower price) but cut it up so I could move it. Chipped the brush and smaller branches. All good. And their quote was best of several we asked.

But the problem: left long ruts and deep holes in the yard from the truck. We'd rescheduled to avoid rain and should have waited longer for it to really dry. As they experts that part was on them: they should have informed us as and/or used precautions like mats or plywood. Since I already paid (my mistake for not understanding how big of an issue ruts and compacted soil were) I haven't been able to get them on the phone even after calling, emailing, leaving messages. Now a lot of this is up to me not having the experience to manage this work - but it's still a buyer beware sort of thing.

I feel bad because they're friendly people, gave a good rate, and did a lot of the job right, and I should have directed more from my side. But this is a real downside, so that's my honest review.
